Call blocking for Z30

Many unwanted calls on new Z30.  Is there a good app designed for BB where I can block individual incoming numbers?

Good day
Not to sure if there is any for the Z30 yet I just check the BB app world.

  • Is there a call blocker for the iPhone?

is there a call blocker for the iPhone4? If not, there should be one. This would make it easier for the iPhone owner to keep there present phone # The call blocker would block text and calls from an unwanted caller. I'm not sure where to go to put my suggestion, but this is my suggestion.

    There is not.
You can call your carrier to ask if they offer this service.
You can make a silent ringtone and assign it to the contact.
You can leave feedback for Apple at:

  • Call block for smartphones

call block widget in future version upgrades for smartphones..

You could try assigning that phone number to a silent ring tone, then you would not hear it ring and it will go to voice mail. Then just delete the message if you want nothing to do with that caller.

  • Call Blocker for blackberry

I recently purchased the Call Blocker program for blackberry because I was receiving harassing phone calls from someone with a "Private Number". My cell service provider said they couldn't do anything about  it so I was forced to get this program. The program cuts off all my long distance callers after 1 ring and doesn't  block the little weasel from leaving me voicemail. In my  opinion this program is worthless to me. Am I doing something wrong with this program? Please help. I've had to change my phone # again and can't advertise it on my jewelry website

Who is your carrier, in the US?

  • Biz transaction type Incoming Call blocked for further biz transactions

    Gurus:
    When I go txn cic0 at CRM6.0, I get the message :
Business transaction type Incoming Call is blocked for further business transactions
    Message no. CRM_ORDERADM_H501
I searched SDN and SSO but found no fix.
Could you tell me how to fix this?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
What must be hapening here is that you are accesing a IC profile, which has a default sales transaction assigned which is not active in customizing.
What is the source of this error, or better, is this happening with all users, is this result of any upgrade?
With these answers it will be easier for us to help you find the error. At first moment, it seems that the user you are logged in is not assigned to any position in PPOMA_CRM, or the position to which he is assigned doesn't have any IC profile, so the system logs in standard IC profile from SAP, and this IC Profile calls transaction type 0001 (Incoming Call) which probably you deactivated because you must have being using your own Z document types.

  • Call Blocking for 00-1696 or 001696

This number has recently shown on our caller ID.  A quick Google search shows it is someone claiming to work for Microsoft and says your computer is at risk.  Obviously, it is a scam.  I have Nomorobo that does not block this, and trying to block it on Xfinity also will not allow me to block it.  My caller ID shows the number with the DASH, but Answered calls on Comcast removes the DASH. Any suggestions from the comminity?

I have same issue with 15-001-2015. I get calls up to several times a day.  If I answer I get some slight noise and a recording saying "GoodBye"
The number can't be blocked, Anonymous call rejection doesn't work and trying to use *69 to call them back doesn't work.

    Thanks for your revert....
Sorry ,Yes you are right we are using CUCM  7.1.3.32900-4 and we are not using H.323 gateway.

My handset BlackBerry Z10 OS 10.3

if you received a call from unknown no, the app will state the no is from spam list. U may list any no to the list. So, next time if u receive any call frm the list, u may ignore it.

  • Why Apple does not provide for call block / blacklist function on iphone?

If Apple frowns upon jailbreaking the iPhone, why not AT THE LEAST endorse and make available third-party application that can provide a decent call block / blacklist function (like the Call Blocker for BlackBerry)?
Can an Apple representative provide feedback pls?
[Most telcos do not provide call-screening as a value-add service. Even if they do, a more cost-effective method is still the better option.]

Have you asked your service provider if they offer any call blocking service? I know here in the USA, AT&T does, although they do charge $4.99/month for the service (it is part of a parental control package that allows control of both numbers that can be blocked from calling you, and numbers that your iPhone can call to).
On-phone black list apps typically work by using caller id info and looking it up against the apps own database of numbers you've entered. So your phone still rings at least once, as the phone needs to allow a brief connection for the app to get the caller id info before disconnecting a number flagged for blocking. There really is no way to truly block calls from the phone itself, you need your service provider to be on board with the idea, so they can dis-allow the call at the switch and truly block it from ever reaching your phone.

  • Call blockers for q10

Blackberry is promoting a variety of call blockers. What does one want a call blocker for? Of course to block those annoying telemarketers call by call. I bought call blocker by x reve. My options were block all calls or no calls period.
Hello Blackberry??? What are you doing here promoting half assed useless apps. This does not help you or us.
Now I am looking for other more effective call blockers. Of course I want to block the last international telemarketer
that called me and keep them blocked that's all. Then each other one that calls I want to block them too. Ive looked elswhere for an app compatible with my bbq10 but when I read the reviews they are appalling. When is Blackberry going to move into the 2015 era and start screening out these useless apps and develop and promote effective apps that do what we the users want them to do? Has blackberry ever looked at the Iphone and how well the apps are integrated and available? That is why sales for Iphones are so high. It makes it hard to stay loyal when we have such struggles with BlackBerry.

Have you searched App World on your device?
Look at Call Recorder 10 and Call Recorder++

  • I am looking for a good Call Blocking App for my iPhone 5...any suggestions??

I am in need of a good call blocking app for iPhone....please any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

As Randy Landry1 says, Google for "silent ringtone", download and install on you iPhone as a ringtone.
Now create a contact for the offending phone number. Assign the contact to the silent ringtone and set no vibrate.
When that number calls it will not ring, nor vibrate. It will light up the screen, but if you do not see that, it will not bother you. They could leave voice mail, but that is easily deleted.
And if it is a situation where the are violating the do not call list, you can use the missed call log to report the number to the FTC.
Also, if the calls are abusive or threading, and the leave a voice mail, you something to show the police.

  • Is there a call block function for the iPhone 4S?

Is there a call block function for the iPhone 4S?  If not, will it be offered in the future?  what else can I do to the phishing calls?

    No.
    Apple has not said.
    Don't answer your phone.

  • Automatic call blocking from invalid numbers/Smart Limits for Wireless changes

It would be nice if your call routing system could be set to AUTOMATICALLY prevent calls from invalid phone numbers from being completed. As an example, I have received calls on my cell phone with the following Caller ID numbers in the last few days: 408-189-xxxx728-727-xxxx The first number uses an invalid exchange (189); the second an inactive area code (728). These were both obviously spoofed numbers that spammers/fraudsters are using. While I get many, many more nuisance calls than these examples each week, it would relieve some of the call volume if your system blocks these calls in the first place. I also subscribe to the Smart Limits call blocking service. 30 numbers is NOT enough to cover all of the spam calls I get. Could this be increased to at least 200? I have already used up all 30 slots in my Smart Limits. I also have over 50 numbers programmed into my phone's phonebook that have been flagged as spammers. Since they can either change the numbers they transmit on a regular basis, or there's just so many of them to begin with, 30 numbers is much too low. Would it also be possible to count and record the date and time when calls have last been blocked and have this information posted with the list of my blocked numbers? It would be useful to see how many times that calls from the number have been received and when the last one was blocked. I could then delete that number from my block list and replace it with one that has had more activity.

    Hi there
Thank you for posting your valuable feedback on our Smart Limits service!
As with everything we offer, we rely on this feedback to provide services that our customers find useful, and to make existing products even better. I agree that adding an automatic block for such calls would be an awesome option, ad would being able to increase the blocked contact limit and see records of those blocked calls! There may be some technical limitations preventing us from adding these features at this time, but we will certainly pass your comments on to the teams that can make this happen!
    Thanks again!
