Call defaults to Speakerphone after BB World update.

About two weeks ago, I updated my Z10 OS to 10.2.1.537 and its been okay. I logged unto my BB World yesterday after a long time and was prompted to update my apps. I had not updated these in a very long time. I made the dowloads and updated all apps and have since had this problem. All call I make and receive will default to speaker phone and the screen does not respond when I try to change the audio to handset. I am only able to change this to headset or handset when I connet my aerphones. Regardless all calls incoming or outgoing defaults to speakerphone even when the earphones are connected. I'll very much appreciate any assistance towards getting this resolved.

Multiple calls of action method after exception during update model phase

using: Sun RI 1.1_01
Situation: have a view with
* a field that has a value binding to a setter that can throw an exception, with a message tag
* a command button bound to an action method
Enter a value in the field that will trigger the exception. You will get the same page again, with a message from the exception; the action method is not called.
Now change the value to something that will be accepted by the setter. The action method will now be called twice.
I presume this is a bug?
On code inspection of the RI 1.1_01, it turns out that an EvaluationException is thrown, which is translated by the ValueBindingImpl#setValue method into another EvaluationException, after posting the exception message as JSF message. This method is run inside UIInput updateModel, which essentially sets valid to false. This will result in interrupting the normal phase cycle, and makes us jump to render response, as expected.
Now all this happens during the update model phase, and earlier an event for the application phase was posted, to trigger execution of the action method. Since we did not reach the application phase, this event is never executed, but also it is never removed from the event List structure.
It is lurking inside the UIViewRoot, and is still there in the next request/response cycle. If in this next cycle, there is no more interruption, we will eventually reach the application phase, but there we now have 2 events waiting to be executed. As a result, the action method will be called twice.
If you trigger the exception in the setter more often, all action events will be saved for the next cycles. If you trigger the exception n times, the action method will be executed n+1 times the first time there is a submit with no exception.
This can not be intended behavior, can it?

BTW: MyFaces does this in UIViewRoot:

Messaging defaults to MMS after IOS 6 update

I noticed today after updating my iPhone 4S to iOS6 that when I goto send an SMS it defaults to sending an MMS (SMS messaging is free with my provider, MMS is not) any help would be appreciated.

Enter the correct credentials.
Power cycle the router.
Forget the network and try again.

Help. Folders won't keep after Blackberry World Update July 18

I have a Z10 running OS 10.1.0.1720, Software version 10.1.0.273. I updated to the latest version of Blackberry World and received an error message and couldn't install it. I tried it again and if installed, only this time all my folders on the homescreen and other screens are all gone.
After spending a hour or so setting everything back up last night, they're gone again. Only this time it happened differently, I started up my Globe and Mail app and it wouldn't load up the articles. I then tried the Canadian Newsreader app and it couldn't connect. So I restarted and all my folders disappeared. I hard rebooted after that (held onto the button on the top until the blue blackberry logo showed up) and they're still gone.
This is a royal PITA and wouldn't have upgraded to the new Blackberry World if that was the case. Help! Is there a resolution to this?
Also, my skyps video never worked on my Z10, but it has worked on others. Don't know why. Help x 2.

9800 frozen after app world update

Last night I updated app world and when i rebooted this morning the icon wasnt there.
after 2 minutes, the phone froze altogether - i couldntt even turn it off. After pulling the battery off and putting it back on, again the phone works for only 2 minutes and then it freezes again.
how can I get it back to working properly?

Are you able to restart your device in safe mode as shown in KB17877?
if yes delete app world in safe mode and reinstall it again

Call log history problem after 10.3 update

Hi
I updated my blackberry Z3 last week to 10.3 . every thing is working fine except the call log history.
my phone not able to retain call history for more than 3 to 4 days. i restored it to factory setting, but nothing helped.

NoScript was updating & an unknown extension called "default" with version# & logo after it said it was updated but it is not in add-ons box. What is this "default"?

An extension called "default" with version# & logo (looked like a tie dyed tee-shirt) showed up in the extension update window while NoScript was updating. It said it had updated.
Is this some kind of hidden extension that is a part of my extensions or a malware?

Screen doesnt get blacked out when on call after the new update

Since the time i Have updated the firmware screen doesnt gets blacked out, when on call after the new update. Because of this option automatically get selected by getting touched cheecks.

No calls,text,camera,contacts...etc after recent OS update...

Z10 - STL100-1 user
-after the recent update to 10.2.1.3062, i can no longer access my calls,text and camera(only blinks and move sidewards after opening).
* i can receive text messages but cannot access/read them
* i cannot received phone calls only registers them as missed calls, moreover i cannot access it even pressing the phone icon at the bottom.
* pressing camera icon only opens the window and suddenly closes
* the next day after updating OS, i can no longer access wechat app, i decided to delete but seems it was not deleted afterall. i kept deleting it, even going to BB world, but says "failed to delete"
I have repeatedly restart/reset, remove battery etc.. whatever i can think as a solution but still didn't fix the issue.
Frustratingly done a security wipe and after a day, it didn't finish (even more frustrated now!)..am stuck on it and i really don't know what to do with it further...(buy a new phone perhaps??)

Hi everyone, I have Snow Leopard 10.6.8. I have been very very frustrated by this problem. [I could not create new windows, and anything that opens new windows, such as trying to see what Add-ons you have etc would not work]. I read about changing screen alignment to the top... I have one screen so the option does not exist. The above messages would not fix this problem. I searched hard and did find a solution in the end. I read stuff about removing Add-ons until the problem is fixed, but its simply not the case.
First of all open Firefox. next go to options: Help --- 'Restart with Add-ons disabled'. Tick the box for add-ons, restart firefox. Next go to Tools --- Add-ons. Next (In the Add-ons Manager' click on 'Plugins' on the left hand side pane. Look for the small blue writing that says 'Check to see if your plugins are up to date'.
Now notice it should say 'Missing Flash'. "For your safety, Firefox has disabled your outdated version of Flash. Please upgrade to the latest version". I followed this, reinstalled Flash and it now works as it always did, no problems. For people where the above fix didn't work, try this one out. Hope it helps people!

After 2.1 update still getting dropped calls

After 2.1 update I have dropped at least 15 Phone calls , the signal strength is usually on 5 bars 3g , the calls drop without warning (doesnt break up or destort voice), It also seems if I look at email while on a call it drops the call about 20 seconds later, another odd thing is the improved reception at my desk at work , used to get 1 bar on EDGE or no service , after 2.1 update I got 5 bars on 3g and the internet was pretty fast in the same spot but only during the morning time , I went back into the office about an hour later the bars dropped to 1 bar on EDGE/no service and the internet wouldnt even work , and now today when talking with my girlfriend (who has the same phone) the call quality has dropped , the speech sounds like she or I are talking through a voice changer where the words become incomprehensible or the sound totally drops momentarily and then returns to normal , so now im finding myself asking are you there over and over , do you think this phone will ever exhibit excellent voice quality and call reliablity or should I just go back to my old company?

Since updating my phone to the new 2.1 Firmware I have been seeing my phone at full bars which I normally don't see on a regulars bases like I do now but if I am having full bars why am I having connectivity issues like when I am talking on the phone it is constantly breaking up almost to the point it sounds like a blown speaker and when I send a SMS it pauses at the end of the loading box for about a minutes before the messages is completely sent. These 2 issues I have never experienced until right after the install of the new 2.1 Firmware

After December 2014 update, Compile Error - calling Excel Objects Sub "Object library invalid or contains references to object definitions that could not be found"

When try to call Sub in Excel Objects > SheetXX after the original xlsm is modified and saved by another user in diff machine, getting an error below and seems Excel cannot identify any subs exists in Sheet.

After the last update - calls do not come through

Hi,
my fiancee and I both have a Samsung Fascinate. In recent weeks we are having problems receiving calls from each other. I do not receive his calls and he doesn't receive mine, yet the person who is calling can hear the phone ring at the end of the line and it will go to VM after a certain number of rings just like it would normally. Yet the calls never ring through to the receiving party. WHY? Text messaging seems to be working normal between us, but the phone situation is ridiculous. We noticed that this all started after this last update that was automatically installed on our phones.. We compare phone logs all the time and we can clearly see where the other person has called, but neither of us ever receives those phone calls. Other calls seems to come through just fine and I can call his ATT Blackberry and it will ring right in. It seems to be a Samsung Fascinate Issue?????? Can anyone help with this?? It's really making us mad not being able to get a hold of the other one when needed.

I CAN'T CALL AFTER PHONE SOFTWARE UPDATE

After I had updated NOKIA XM5800 software, i can't call with this phone. I can recieve calls, sms, but I can't call. Then I updated it again, but it still doesn't work. They said at my operator, O2-Slovakia that the problem will be in the phone. Has anybody a similar problem? Please help...
