  • Call Divert

I am disappointed in the Call Divert service.
I have it set up to divert to my mobile if the phone is not answered or busy.
It takes a long time for the call to be put through and in the meantime there is an annoying message which is repeated three times. It does not sound at all professional.
I used to be with Virgin and their divert system was much slicker.
I would like to get rid of the annoying message - any chance?
Why does it take longer than Virgin?
PS the Infinity Broadband is a lot quicker which is why we changed.

the delay depends on the setting this link may help http://btbusiness.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/7684/~/how-do-i-divert-calls-from-my-phone%3F

  • Call Divert on 3330

    Hi,
I've got an old 3330 on Orange Pay as You Go.It has come up with the call divert icon on the main screen. I cannot recall setting this option. According to the manual I should go to menu 7 to turn it off.
Unfortunately, my menus go from 6 to 8 with no menu 7!
Can anyone remember how to solve this.
    Thanks for looking.
    Paul

Speak to customer Services at Orange, there should be a hash code that will send a message to the network to disable the Call Divert.
    Orange Post Pay: 150
    Orange Pre Pay: 450

  • Call divert on 3110c

How can I set up call divert on the 3110c. When I try I get the message "request not completed" any help really appreciated.

I think that's a question for your Operator. Because the phone just sends a request and it's the operator that diverts the calls. That's is the only reason you're able to divert when out of reach. Just be careful in this country when you divert a call you get charged for it, so it could also apply to you

  • All incoming calls divert to "Sorry, you can't lea...

    Help please!
I recently cancelled 1571. Since then all incoming calls divert immediately to a message saying: "Sorry, you can't leave a message at the moment" and then disconnect.
Everything else works fine (outgoing calls, broadband), and since the voice message sounds exactly like 1571 it seems pretty obvious that something went badly wrong with the 1571 cancellation.
I have had some lovely conversations with 151 and with the online chat people who have seem to have no idea how to fix the problem.
I see from the forum that this type of problem has been encountered before over several years and the only way to get it fixed appears to be to post on here and wait for the BT people who monitor them to spot it and come to my rescue.
So HELP! <waves flag> Here I am, please come and rescue my phone line from the 1571 gremlin.
    Dave

I just cannot believe I'M READING THESE POSTS AND THAT OUR EXPERIENCES HAVEN'T FED THEMSELVES BACK TO THE PEOPLE WHO MATTER AT BT. (Sorry hit caps lock!) I have had exactly the same experience as you all and I have been on the phone for hours trying to get the message through to the people on the end of 151 that the problem is obviousky with the 1571 system. I got to the point three days ago when there was a glimmer of hope that my word was being accepted about the problem. I was upgraded to speak tp a 'supervisor' or similar, who said that 1571 would be reconnected to see if people could then the get through again - beyond the scary message. Of course the moment it was reconnected the phone line was fine. He promised me that he would ring back yesterday to check the situation but I heard nothing. SO I got back onto 151 and had all the same discussions again. I asked why I had been promsied a return call - no explanation. Everything was clealry on notes on his computer but I had to go through the same questioning about answer machines at home etc etc. I suggested that the 1571 system was so complex that few people at BT have any clue that it is capable of giving the recorded message that we have all reported. He said he knew all the 1571 FACILITIES AND THAT NO SUCH MESSAGE CAN BE SWITCHED ON. (Hit it again sorry) I can't tell you how relieved I am to read your posts acknowledging the same experience. I am now waiting for 1571 to be switched off again to see what happens, and he has promised to ring me back on Monday afternoon at 2.00pm (5th January 2014). I also got a letter from BT welcoming me to the 1571 service and explaining that it will now cost me £1.75 per month - I've had it for years and the reason I want it turned off is to save the new charges. I fell totally exhausted with th whole affair. Happy New Year, and best regards.

  • HOW TO DELETE PHONE NO. RECORD IN CALL DIVERT

Hi! Please help me, I have recently activated a call divert if the phone is not answered. My problem is, when I deactivate this function. The record of the phone number that I have used is still appearing, how do I delete this record?

Menu > Tools > Settings > Phone > Call divert > Voice calls > If not answered > Activate > To voice mailbox.
Most networks don't allow you to deactivate altogether the call divert is no answer, so setting it to divert to your voice mailbox just puts things back to their defaults.

  • 6300 call divert missing from menu

Some time ago I set up Call Divert on my Nokia 6300 (on Orange UK), but now that I wish to cancel it, I go to menu>setiings>call, but Call Divert no longer appears. The items there are listed as 2/8 to 8/8. How do I get it back?

This could v well b an operator issue. In India a network BSNL allows call diverts to only its own network numbers. So if that's the case in ur area pls do check with the operator too.

  • 5800 Call Divert

    Hi
I am having problems with the call divert on my 5800.  I have set it up to divert to my voicemail if I don't answer, however it only rings twice and then diverts.  I'm trying to find out how to extend the time it rings before diverting as I haven't answered a call sucessfully yet since I've had the phone!
    Thanks all!

try checking under Menu > Settings > Calling > Call Divert > Voice Calls > If not answered
max u should be able to set the timer to is 30 secs
if there are any errors and if it still diverts before the timer set, u should call ur network provider

  • Cancelling call divert

Each time I try to cancel call divert by dialling #21# I get a message saying 'sorry, the service requested is not available' !!!  Any ideas what I do now as I am desperate to cancel call divert.  Thanks for any help

that is the correct way to take a divert off... if you put on the divert this should work, however if it was put on by 151 you may have to give them a call... also if you are using a feature line have you tried # 121 #

  • N85 call divert

I have a N85 and use call divert a great deal. Is there a way of moving call divert to the main menu screen of the N85?
    Thanks
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

You could find out from your operator what the code is to activate and deactivate Call Diversion. Then, you could set up two contacts, one for Activating the diversion, and another to deactivate. Assign a Nickname to each contact, and use Voice Dialling with the associated Nickname to dial the Call Diversion Code.
For example, in Australia, **21*[DestinationNumber]#[SEND] is the Call Diversion GSM code. See this link (or search for GSM Call Diversion Codes) for sample codes:
    http://www.hotel.com.au/GSM-Mobile-Hash-Codes.asp
Hope this helps - haven't tried it, but it should work. Let everyone know how you go!!!

  • Automatic call divert

I used to have an Erricsson (can't remember which) but it had a nice feature where whenever it was plugged in to charge (or docked) it automatically diverted all voice calls (eg to my desk phone)
Is there any way to do this with any of the Nokia phones? I currently have a 7210 but will upgrade soon (like the look of the n series).
    thanks

  • C6 call divert issues

Hello, earlier today I was on the phone to my friend, my dad came home later on saying he had been trying to ring me, whilst I had been on the phone to my friend I had no incoming call things, I tried to sort it out, I went on settings, calling, call divert, voice calls and clicked If Busy, I clicked deactivate but it just came up 'Request not complete' any ideas what I have to do?
    Thanks

Try phoning your network before you reset your phone because your phone it's not the one responsible for diverting calls, your network is. The phone just sends a request for the calls to be diverted. A problem with the network caused the message you got back.

  • 6151 call divert

Hi, I have a 6151 and the call divert activates too quickly. How do I change how long the phone rings for before it diverts to voicemail?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

This is a network setting. You have four possibilities:
    1. You can't...your operator is keen on voicemail revenue
    2. There may be a setting in your phone under "call divert"
    3. You may be able to change it on your operator's website
    4. Otherwise, try calling your operator

  • 6310 : Call Divert - 'Request not Completed'

I have a Nokia 6310 and wish to set up a call divert.
I follow the instructions in the manual, setting the delay, etc, but when I get to select Activate I am given a error message of 'Request not Completed'.
    What is causing this?

If you're on a Pay & Go sim, some networks only allow you to divert to Voicemail - and it won't allow diverts to other mobiles/landlines.
