"Call Failed" several times when making an outgoing call

I get constant "Call Failed" messages when attempting to make an outgoing call from my iPhone 4. The issue started happening about 3 weeks ago. AT&T originally said there was a problem in the area, but it should be fixed soon. Now they say all towers are up and running, but the problem still happens. I've had Apple replace the phone, but the problem still happens. Never had any issues with AT&T coverage/service in my area, never a dropped call. Most calls are made at home which is less than a mile from the AT&T tower. Now I think it might have started with the release of 4.3??

You have to purchase it yourself($200)...which is a bunch of crap too!! But they can research your area & when they finally figure out that it's a bad servise area they will give it to you for FREE!! Now my phone works like it's supposed to!! So check it out!! Good Luck!!

It sounds like you are are getting a message saying that the call failed, when the person you are talking to hangs up. I have a few things to recommend here. First close all the open apps:
iOS: Force an app to close

Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the phone and test it out again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

If that does not resolve it, try resetting your network settings:
Reset network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Note: This will reset all network settings including:
previously connected Wi-Fi networks and passwords

I tired to reinstall snow leopard with the install DVD that came with my iMac. However the disc is damaged so I bought a new Snow Leopard but my iMac wont read the new disc, it just stays in the apple logo screen, I have tired safe boot, holding down the "C" key on startup and tried using disc utility but getting nowhere.

Might be related, if your hard drive is a 1TB drive,it could be a Seagate drive.
The drives are known to fail and your iMac maybe covered for free replacement under the Apple's Seagate hard drive replacement program until April 12 of this year.
I Believe the 2009 models are covered under this replacement warranty.

My Droid Razr Max at times when making a call will conect but drops audio both sides?

When making calls it will connect but you can hear the other party and neither can they hear me. I was advised to do a hard reset but this did not solve th eissue. FTP Adapter fails first time when bpel process is invoked from concurrent

Hi,
We noticed that the invoke of the FTP adapter fails the first time when the bpel process is invoked from a concurrent program. The second time the concurrent is ran, it completes fine. However, when invoked from the console, it compeltes fine the first time itlsef.
Any idea what could be worng. We are on SOA Suite 10.1.3.4

What you are doing with FTP adapter? Are you writing a file ? Any error details in logs when it is failing on first invocation ?

UC520 Resets every time when making a SIP trunk Call.

I have a UC520 and i just upgraded to the 8.0.2 software pack. I also added SIP for Skype SIP trunk - when i make a call the router resets. When i do a show ver is see this line - System returned to ROM by error - a SegV exception.

The Visual Studio installation will leave some components on your OS for repair/uninstall. The problem seems related to this. If you can find the installer which you used to install Visual Studio 2013, then please use it to repair and uninstall. It
will fix problems on your OS so please don't try to uninstall from control panel.
If you cannot find the source installer, please download the same version of Visual Studio 2013 ISO from here:
https://www.visualstudio.com/en-us/downloads/download-visual-studio-vs.aspx
Then verify it's hash value by refer to the following page:
https://www.visualstudio.com/en-us/downloads/visual-studio-2013-iso-sha1-vs
After that, you can use that installer to repair then uninstall.

It is for Visual Studio 2010 or previous versoin, but some customers fixed problems by using this tool. I think you can also have a try on it.

2008R2 backup - fails every time when scheduled; works every time when run manually

Hi all
I installed a brand new Dell PowerEdge T310 at the weekend, with a clean install of 2008R2. Roles are .Net IIS, DC, DNS, DHCP. The server has 8GB RAM and a PERC RAID1 array.
I have scheduled the backup (20:30) to do a full backup (C:, system state, bare metal) to external USB drives.
Every day so far the backup has failed, but when I logon to the server and choose to run it manually it always succeeds.
Event log messages are:
Event 40961, VSS
ASR Warning: Failed to collect disk information for ASR Backup. Reason: Unable to obtain disk information for device 1 (Win32 error code 0x2).
Event 753, Backup
The Block Level Backup Engine service has successfully started.
Event 561, Backup
The backup operation that started at '‎1601‎-‎01‎-‎01T00:00:00.000000000Z' has failed because no backup storage location could be found. Please confirm that the backup storage location is attached and online, and then rerun the backup
operation.
Event 546, Backup
The backup operation attempted at '‎2011‎-‎11‎-‎22T20:30:04.898299200Z' has failed to start, error code '2155348061' (Windows Backup cannot find any of the backup storage locations.). Please review the event details for a solution, and
then rerun the backup operation once the issue is resolved.
The server is remote and no-one can possibly be tinkering with (only I have remote access and the office closed for the day four hours ago). But if I remote to the server and run it manually, it runs.
Does anyone have any advice please? I don't really want to be running manually every day :-)

According to your description, it seems that if you do a schedule backup, it failed,
If you do a manual backup, it would succeed.
I would like to confirm that if it is the same external USB drive destination when
use the schedule backup and the manual backup?
From the error code, you may take the following steps to troubleshoot the issue.
To verify that a scheduled backup is enabled:
Open an elevated Command Prompt window. Click
Start, point to All Programs, click Accessories, right-click
Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator.
At the prompt, type:
wbadmin enable backup.
If the command output shows a schedule, then a scheduled backup is enabled.
Confirm that the schedule contains the correct parameters.
To verify that a disk used to store backups is online:
For the computer that contains the storage disk, open Disk Management. Click
Start, click Run, and then type: diskmgmt.msc.
Click
View, click Top, and then click Disk List.
For the disk that contains the volume that you will use to store backups, confirm that the value in the
Status column is Online.

Server not found pops up several times when trying to get anywhere.

Every time I click on the Mozilla Firefox icon to bring up the basic page with the Google bar and I enter a Q for my home page or a Q for my university (Grand Canyon), which uses Firefox, hence my reason for using Firefox, or even if I am just using the Google to search for something, I get a pop up that tells me that the server cannot be found. In the box it shows "server cannot find" then there is some strange looking address with symbols and boxes. I click the x's and often will find my page under all of this, but it all repeats with each step, so I exit completely and just go back to using my old internet explorer. Is this like I need to re-subscribe? or is it something else?

Well I can see that this is no help either as I am not getting a response here nor any help with this matter. I will not bother you again and I will now stick to internet explorer to connect me to the internet. Thanks anyway. Bye.

You do not have the properties in the Bookmarks Manager (Library), but you should have it if you right-click a bookmark the Bookmarks Toolbar or in the bookmarks sidebar.
On Mac you probably do not have it if you right-click an item in the Bookmarks menu (this menu is under control of the Mac OS), but I assume that this should work if you click the "Show your bookmarks" button on the Navigation Toolbar that is next to the star to bookmark the current tab and right-click an item in the bookmarks list that opens.

AwakeFromNib called several times

I have two Nib files in a project, the mainMenu.Nib has a controller class which was also used in the second.Nib as custom class of File's Owner. I use NSBundle loadNibNamed to load the second.Nib. when the mainMenuNib is loaded, i notice controller's awakeFromNib is called which is normal, but when the second.Nib is loaded, awakeFromNib is called again, is this the normal behavior ? if yes, then it is not advisable to initialize variables in the awakeFromNib as it might be initialized several times when other Nib is loaded during runtime?

To avoid that kind of things, you should initialize all the app variables and things you want in an "init" method and specific ones in the awakeFromNib. This method is generical used when you want to initialize things from the GUI (graphical user interface). I mean, objects from the interface: buttons, etc to give them an initial behavior.
