Call Filtering app?

Hello,
I'm quite new to the whole iPhone thing... the one thing that seems missing is the ability to filter calls - create "black- & White-lists" and the option to block restricted or unlisted numbers...
After searching the web for some time I found iBlacklist & MCleaner - both seem to do exactly that... but need your iPhone to be jailbroken to install...
I understand the jailbreaking process and also the problem about software updates afterward (loosing everything when you update you iPhone firmware ...)
I was wondering if there is ANY "official" AppStore App doing basic call filtering???
I have not been able to find it - and it puzzles me as to why something like this is simply not available??

There is not, because that level of inter-application access is not permitted by the SDK.

Looking for a Telephone call recorder app

I have tried a few telephone call recorder apps on my droid X and they just don't seem to work. They are great when the Doctor calls with test results when you are driving.

There are lots of different recording applications on the Android Market Place.
You can go to the Android Market Place on the device, then go to search to find these applications.

As Randy Landry1 says, Google for "silent ringtone", download and install on you iPhone as a ringtone.
Now create a contact for the offending phone number. Assign the contact to the silent ringtone and set no vibrate.
When that number calls it will not ring, nor vibrate. It will light up the screen, but if you do not see that, it will not bother you. They could leave voice mail, but that is easily deleted.
And if it is a situation where the are violating the do not call list, you can use the missed call log to report the number to the FTC.
Also, if the calls are abusive or threading, and the leave a voice mail, you something to show the police.

Any call filtering on CallManager 4 or 5?

I know Cisco Personal Assistant will be fade out. I just wonder if there is any call filtering feature on CallManager so that end user can create their own call rules to block / permit the call etc (just like IPMA call filtering).

IPMA has call filtering feature,i dont htink so presently call manager has that feature.

Smartwatch 2: Call handling app crashes

The Smartwatch app on my phone (Nexus 5) crashes frequently when receiving a phone call of opening the app on my watch. The phone shows a ANR (App Not Responding error) and the smartwatch disconnects and connects again a few seconds later, but my smartwatch only shows the waiting icon.
I've resetted my smartwatch, uninstalled and reinstalled all apps. I saw some problems with WatchIt! but removing that app doesn't help either. I've updated all my apps and the smart watch firmware. I've tested this on (vanilla) Android version 4.4.2, 4.4.3, 4.4.4 and Android L.
Edit: just installed Android L, same problem.

Since 4.4.3 call handling app crashes, only works very few times...
To reproduce the bug, just open in the watch the call handling app, click favorites and enjoy the app FC in the phone... Instantly!!!!

Click 2 Call and Call Recording Apps for Surface R...

I think I know the answer to this, but it doesn't appear that Click to Call is a feature that is available for those of us on Surface RT. Additionally, I can't find any of the call recording apps available through the skype site. Anyone have any input on this?

1. Unfortunately "Click to call" is not available on Safari for iPad because the Safari Web Browser in iOS does not support the concept of plug-ins (like Safari on Mac does). That means Skype cannot hook into the browser to extend the functionality.
2. Just so I understand you correctly: You want phone numbers in Emails highlighted in the desktop application "Outlook 2013" as well, correct?

How to call an App Module from another App Module?

Here are the settings for my project.
MyApplication (Application)
Model1 (Project) : Has connection settings to connect to schema1
Model2 (Project) : Has connection settings to connect to schema2
ViewController (Project) : View project
How do I call Model2 from Model1 ? I tried calling findApplicationModule but that did not work.
Can I get access to the AppModule from JNDI tree? How else can I get access to Model2 from Model1?

Is there any call blocking app that can make rules based on starting number of caller. For example, accepting all call that start with "+", "00", "01", "02", etcc
There are many such apps in android.

As far as I am aware, there are no apps for un-jailbroken phones that can block calls, as legit third-party apps are not allowed to changed core iOS features.

Parrot Pro call recording app
