Call forwading showing when its off ??

Hiya,i have call forwarding coming up on my screen each time i have a call in or out,i can dismiss it to take it away but you can imagine having to do that every call ! and its been turned off in the menu,PLEASE can anyone help as its driving me mad !!

Got it sorted.I was on here,my carrier twice and apple to try and get this sorted,but reboot {also in i tunes} isnt always the way ! In the end i simply turned it off left it a couple of minutes and back on,problem sorted :}

would anyone know why my ipod touch 1g's battery stopped showing when its dying? the battery always looks 98% charged even when i plug it into my computer. ill be using it then it powers off on its own and when i try to plug it into my computer when it powers off it doesnt start up my itunes. i have to mess with it by pressing the power button and the sleep button at the same time and sometimes that doesnt even work. its not until i open my itunes and plug and unplug my ipod numerous times that then it will charge but even then when it does the battery looks fully charged. - Resetting your iPod:
Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

if they are unable to update all languages in a normal time gap (it is now 6 months ago they released firmware 4.22 for the first product code (actually mine and maybe a few others)), they should not offer those many versions. the huge bug with out of memory in nokia navigator with firmware 3.58 is not fixed yet for those people. really absolutely not acceptable.
besides that, currently my phone is in a nokia service center, microphone doesnt work anymore (the one who i call just hears a very loud noise). my brother got the same phone, his one is in nokia service center since 2 weeks now, because it doesnt charge anymore as there seems to be a connection broken inside the phone).
well that will be fun if the phone returns (approximately 4 weeks), as I guess the phones will have new IMEIs as they will send 2 new phones and not fix the problem (would cost them more). but as i got a western europe with nordics-map licence locked to the imei, the next problem will be there after I get a nokia 6110navi with another IMEI back. i get really upset with this really slow support.

It means that when your ipad is running with your charger connected, it is using about as much electrical energy as your charger is supplying to your battery. When your ipad is shut down there are no apps or programs running so all of the charger's output is devoted to recharging the battery. Your ipod battery may be running down a bit because of age, or you could possibly have too many apps running at the same time. Running gamming applications uses quite a bit of power. I'm making the assumption that your charger is functioning properly. Also, charging via the USB port on your computer is not as efficient as using your wall charger since the charging current provided by the computer usb port is a bit less than the wall charger. If you use an iPad wall charger it will provide more charging current and therefor would be more effective.

Click wheel, why does it click when its off??

Ok, so i have an ipod fifth generation (a.k.a. video ipod). When i hold the play/pause button down to turn it off, it turns off fine. But then i spin my finger on the click wheel, and it's still clicking, although its off! Why does it do this?? Is it normal??

Welcome to the HP Forums!
I'd suggest first, checking that the printer is still connected to your network. To do that, please try Printing a Network Configuration Page. That page will indicate if the printer is still connected to your network or not.
If the printer is connected, please try this 'Printer is offline' Message Displays on the Computer and the HP Printer Will Not Print document.
If the printer is not connected reconnect it following the steps in this Setting Up the Printer for a Wireless network for the HP Photosmart Wireless e-All-in-One Printer Se... document.

Mini - is it off when its off?

If you do a normal shutdown, and the mini then shuts down, is it OFF?- that is, isolated from the wall plug and any power surges? ?
or is it like a TV with a remote, in that its off but is really on, waiting for a remote control signal.
I used to shut down my power strip too, but twice the mini lost its IP connection after shutting down the power strip too.

If your modem and mini were both powered up at the same time, the mini would almost certainly have become ready first. The modem has to go through a diagnostic, then request a login from your ISP, then obtain IP data before it can provide the required setup for the mini. That would explain why at first you get a self-assigned 169 IP in the mini, because at the time it's configuring the network port, the modem isn't ready. Then, shortly after, the modem becomes ready and supplies the right IP.
There's an easy way to check this - plug the modem into another outlet and leave it switched on so it remains in connection with the ISP (this is perfectly safe). You should find the mini then works correctly from startup.

Yes, it could. That sort of distance is well within range of a normal wifi access point, so if the wireless network is not protected, your system could see it and connect. However, if it is doing this, you should see that the Airport icon in the menu bar showing between one and four black bars indicating the signal strength of the wifi it is connected to. If the Airport icon is blank (an empty fan shape) it means that Airport is switched off. If it shows grey bars then it means Airport is on but not connected to anything.

Receive Facetime Call on Mac when screen off

I have an imac 2007 intel, and macbook pro 2010, both running yosemite.
I have no problems seeing I have an incoming facetime call if the mac is on, or the screen is locked.
On both macs I have no way to tell there is an incoming call if the screen is off. The macs are on not sleeping.
Is there anyway to tell there is an incoming call if the screen is not on.

Data plan being used even when its OFF

I have the weirdest problem on my device
My data plan is always set to be disable (off). I only use wifi, and never use data plan
Even so, i receive a message every day for my carrier saying they have discounted $ from my plan because i used data plan. I should receive this message only those days that i use the data plan conection.
How the **bleep** is an app or android or some system activating my data plan even if its set off ??
Can android or a third party app activate data plan? I guess not.
Does stamina change this somehow?
This immediately started the day i bought myself the Z1c. Didnt have this on my moto g or optimus hd.
i have no idea else.. i tried everything.
When i go to the screen that shows the apps that used data, its complete blank with 0,00Bytes used.
as i said, this didnt happen with my previous phones, so im pretty much sure that is something with the z1c.

Not at all. no aps using it. It must be something that the sony device is making. didnt had this since one week ago, after i purchased the z1c, so its definetely something with this device.
Im making tests every single day to find out what could be causing this. (device is stock, no root nor unlocked BL):
- Next tests
remove all apns
- yet disabled:
4g - no effect
autoupdate sus - no effect
geotag the photos - no effect
sony account manager - no effect
sony taken as adm cell - no effect
removed the sony location service cell - no effect
config updater app - no effect
re setting apn - no effect
off stamina + wifi spot - testing
APN defaul (no suppl) - testing
only data apn (no mms) - testing
example:
day 7: data was off but i was charged for using it
day 8(today): data was off but i was already charged for using it

Weird call forwarding issue when phone off PBX is on call forward.

Hello - have (2) 3600 series routers connected to pbx's doing toll bypass, T1 on one side E1 on the other. All calls work ok and voice quaility is good however when a user on the PBX behind the E1 puts his phone on forward the call fails with a fast busy type of error (actually it rings once then fails) ISDN debugs yield:Cause i = 0x81E020 - Mandatory information element missing then the router disconnects the call.

The 'debug isdn q931' command, shows the call progress and the areas of problems. Sometimes the call fails due to a timer expiration. In the debug command output, the time period from when the call proceeding flows until the call fails, gives a guideline for the amount of time required to complete a call connection. The workaround is to wind out timers, which allow the call setup enough time to complete the connection.

Apple tv no longer showing when powered off

I just updated my apple tv a couple days ago and now unless I power the apple tv on separately, it does not show up in itunes or my wireless devices' remote app. Once I power it up, everything is fine but it used to show up even when it was off (thus I could actually turn it on with itunes or the various remote apps).
Any ideas?

I've noticed this as well. There have been a lot of funky issues with this latest software update. Are you connecting to the router via ethernet or Wi-Fi? I am connected via ethernet and it's the same as you describe.

Making email/text/missed call symbols show when the iphone screen is asleep

So I purchased my first ever iphone on the weekend - the new 3G S. All very exciting. One thing I haven't quite worked out is whether it is possible to have the phone show me that I have mail/text/missed calls when the screen is asleep. Is this possible?
With Nokias and Sony Ericsson's when the screen is asleep and blacked out, you can still see a pic of an envelope etc to let you know there is something waiting for you like a text. Is this possible with the iphone and if so how?
Alternatively if there is an app that will do this, could you let me know what that is called so I can download it please?

This is not possible with the current iPhone and version 3.0 software. There are no apps available either that will wake the iPhone up and activate the screen to provide you information. Hopefully this'll come in some furure software update.

My iphone only charges when its off, and dies constantly regardless of %

my 4s started acting funny when i plugged it in, it would sometimes recognize that it was connected and sometimes wouldn't, then all of a sudden it only recognized the charger when it was off. i have since tried other chargers and even resetting it. but now it dies at any percentage and when i plug it in, the "connect to power source" icon pops up, if i wait and try to turn it on again it will turn on, sometimes this happens every ten minutes. it seems like the phone gets frustrated and gives up on me, this is really annoying. it also means i cannot use it in emergencies because it will just die, i also cannot use the alarm because it might die, i cant use the gps because it will die, for example, i will use the gps to get somewhere, then when i need to get back, i get lost because i need to wait at least 3 hours while it is off and charging so that i can use the gps to get back. PLEASE HELP ITS DRIVING ME INSANE

Seems like 2 problems. Charging port assembly is faulty. And most likely battery is faulty also. Apple would handle this with replacement iPhone 4S with Warranty or AppleCare, or without coverage for $199. Make Genius reservation to avoid long wait time at Apple Store.

Incoming calls not showing when i'm on a call

when i am on the phone and a new call comes in, it give me the tone for an incoming call, but the screen just says "Multiple Calls" and doesn't show the new caller. There's no way to answer the incoming call (I no longer get the Ignore buttons) and the new call doesn't show in my Missed Calls log.
this is a new problem that just started recently.
Any advice?
