There's a couple of ways to get through to the authorisation controls in the 11.0.x versions.
The control is still in the Store menu, but first (if you're using iTunes versions 11.0.x) you might need to bring up the menu bar to see the Store menu.
If you're using 11.0.x, click on the wee boxy icon up in the top-left corner of your iTunes to see the "Show Menu Bar" control, as per the following screenshot:
Then you'll find the control in the Store menu:
Alternatively, if you don't want to bring up the menu bar, it's still possible to get into the authorise controls via nested menus accessible from the wee boxy icon. Here's a screenshot of where to find them:

If I were to get a iPhone in the USA, would I be able to use it here in South Africa with the South African networks?

It is Prudent to purchase the Phone in the Country it is intended for use in... it will then work as expected.
If you are attracted by the seemingly Cheap prices in the US... you are failing to take into account that you are probably looking at the phones that are LOCKED and CONTRACTED to a US Carrier.
AND...
The iPhone Warranty is only valid in the country of original purchase... Except for EU Countries...
Even if you Purchase an Unlocked iPhone directly from Apple (the only source) it still may not work as designed in your Country and of course... there is No Warranty (see below for warranty)

Skype calls from israel to poland

hello !i go to israel for couple months and i wish to contact my family and friends through skype calls but when i enter skype website in hebrew, they ask which country i wish to contact, i pick poland and it says basically that there is no such connection - does this mean i can't call poland from israel through skype ? thankssuzanne

Moved from Germany to South Africa

I just moved to South Africa. I tried to find my subscriptions to reactivate. I don't know why, but i can't find them on any apple device! Even in my account i can't find and edit my changes. Do any of you guys had any issues with his subscription because of moving?

Journal import fails when called from PLSQL

Hi,
When journal import is called from plsql code it is failing with error in 'gllacc() Function returning without value and no data found'.
Same transaction is run succesfully from front end.
I checked both gl_interface and gl_interface_control table but couldnt find the issue.
Any info on this would be very helpful.

To get any decent apps from apple in South Africa you have to open a fake USA account.
Everyone with other brand phones can get all the apps in South Africa.
I am sure there are more “smaller” countries around the world with the same watered down service. I don’t think that apple realizes that all these little numbers will add up and turn on them

I have a Skype account set up in the USA using a Skype To Go number to call Madagascar. I am now living temporarily in South Africa and want to call Madagascar. I have a cheap prepaid Nokia without internet access in South Africa. Can I set up Skype to phone Madagascar? Person in Madagascar does not have access to internet so no computer Skyping capabilities, only a mobile.

1. Yes. Change your SkypeToGo location to South Africa and register your Madagascar contact's #.
2. You don't need an internet connection to use STG.

It's not Apple's choice, they can only sell content where the content providers grant them licenses to sell it, so if the record company hasn't granted Apple a license to sell that song in South Africa then Apple can't sell it there. You can try requesting that it be added, but it won't be able to happen without the record company's agreement : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html
You can also only buy content from your own country's store, you won't be able to buy it from the US store unless you are in the US with a US billing address on your account.

South Africa doesn't have it's own store & the only
way you can purchase from another country's store is
to have a credit card with a billing address in that
country.
This is kind of stupid. I mean, I don't mind buying from the American or UK stores, but not being able to buy at all is a major bad idea. Apple not only misses out on potential customers, but also makes my and other's like me experience with iPod and iTunes less than it should and could be.
I mean what? Just because I'm Romanian or that guy is from South Africa, we are not allowed to use the iPod we've purchased and iTunes at their full potential. Just adding other countries as an option to the address information for a Music Store account doesn't seem like such a big deal.

I am making a ME Webservice call from PCo.
I have configured Destination System, added a service in Configuration tab.
Using 'Test request message', i tested the call with all required inputs, the object is created in ME system.
When the same service is triggered from PLC > PCo, the call fails and i see the following message in Log tab.

Hello Shridhar, I guess you can use use different user for authentication and user data inside XML request.
In MII, I have used MESYS for authentication and other user name inside the request XML. But you need to make sure user name inside XML has ME_Integrator role.
