Call fwd to a user, who then call fwds to Voicemail

I have a customer with a scenario where the original user call forwards to another user. This user then has a call forward no answer to voicemail. 
If the first recieves a call, then the call is unanswered on the second user and then endsup in voicemail, who's voicemail box should the call land in?
I am discovering that the call lands in the second users voicemail. 
Is there any way to change this? Or is there any other way to configure it to call the fisrt user, ring on the sencond user, then land in the first users mailbox?
Alot of legacy phone systems had the ability to change the destination mailbox depending on first hop scenario.

This is expected behaviour.
The only way to change this would be to have the 2nd user forward the call back to the 1st user, or forward to a SIP URI that's tied to a shared mailbox that is accessed by both users... or something similar along those lines. This setting can be set by
the end user themselves or centrally via the Sefautil.exe tooling, but is probably not feasible or practical.
It makes sense, if user A is away for 4 weeks and forwards to user B. Then user B is off for a day and misses a call that came in for user A, and a message was left.... then user B can grab that rather than user A in 4 weeks time.
Unfortunately in Lync there is no 'destination mailbox', only voicemail, which is inherently the mailbox of the concerned user.

    I'd like to call Enterprise Service as Portal logon user.
    As you know Enterprise Service is implemented on ECC, it always requires ECC's user/password when I access it.
    Off the top of my head I may use logon ticket, but it does not work well for Enterprise Service.
    I've already done the system configuration to use logon ticket - setting profile parameters of ECC, importing client certification and so on.
    What I tried:
    1. Create Destination at "Web Services Configuration: WS Destination"with following parameters:
      Destination Type: WSDL
      URL: http://<hostname>:<port>/sap/bc/srt/xip/sap/ECC_SALESORDERCRTRC?sap-client=800&wsdl=1.1
      Authentication: HTTP Authentication, Logon Ticket
    2. Try to test ES at "WS Navigator"
      -> When I search ES in destination which I created, the following error occurred:
    Invalid Response Code: (401) Unauthorized. The requested URL was:"http://<hostname>:<port>/sap/bc/srt/xip/sap/ECC_SALESORDERCRTRC?sap-client=800&wsdl=1.1"
    When I changed destination's settings as follows, testing ES at "WS Navigator" succeeded.
      Authentication: HTTP Authentication, User ID/Password(Basic), apply fixed user
    But I'd like to change user who calls ES dynamically, because I want to set the user who creates sales order to Portal logon user.
    Could you give me any advice?

This will automatically use logged in user id dynamically.

    Well, in his defense, his parents bought him the player so I guess we can't blame him. Though the 6 GB versions were available in November so I guess they really did get 'nervous' about Christmas and like to get their shopping done early! Kudo's to you for trying to remain with the Creative line but for what you're looking for it's obviously not the player for you. Creative seems to be fine-tuning their line for the audio crowd. I'm into mp3 players for the audio. Sure, the ability to watch video's and look at pictures on a decent screen is a plus but for me at least, it's all about the music. And with music, 6 GB is more than enough. Heck, 8 GB would have been more than enough for me. I'm a subscriber to Napster-to-go, so I don't feel the need to carry 00 plus GB of stuff on my portable player. I honestly don't understand the desire to watch movies or TV shows on tiny little screens. But you're also talking to a guy who doesn't watch television. What a complete waste of time and brain cells. Probably the **competitor products we can't discuss here** or one of those players would better suit your needs. Companies are definately picking their niche markets carefully and Creative's decision to not offer hard dri've players any more seems to definately be saying bye-bye to that market. I can't say I blame them. Hard dri'ves eventually give up the ghost and are quite delicate for people on the go. Good ridance, I say. Let Apple, Zune and all the others cater to the Z generation's need to be spoonfed their video/TV addictions anywhere and everywhere. I'll pass. It's one thing to be able to enjoy some music on the go and enhance an otherwise dull work day or dri've. But movies/TV shows at work, school, or wherever? Please. Cut the cord! Just my $.02 - YMMV!         Emyrosewho, this is a great question. When a person, adds your mobile number to the Call and Messaging Block feature, it will not affect their out going call to you. As a result, when that person calls you, their ten digit mobile number will reflect in the caller ID. However, that person can still dial *67 plus your ten digit mobile number to restrict their number from reflecting in your caller ID. I hope this information is helpful to you. ^LH

    Anyone has an experience about customize standard program to create new screen

    In QA11 (Manual UD), For posting stock quantity (After click button "Stock for inspection lot")

    to choose sub-set of this inspection lot to post for UR or block by check box (Just overview)
    Then after finish to select, Need to go back old screen ("Record UD : Stock" Screen) and default sum

    After checked, Not have any screen-exit after clicked button "Stock for inspection lot".
    but i found 1 user-exit which was called after click above button.
    So, Can i use user-exit to call new customize screen?
    If need to go back from new customize screen to main screen, May have any problem? How to do it?
    If finish to do in new customzie screen and need to continue display next old screen. How to do it in PAI of new customize screen.

  • Cannot call between non-domain users in public network (internet)

    We set up a test lync servers. It is only a single server behind a firewall. On the firewall, we did port forwarding to send all the packets destined for a specific public IP to Lyncs private address.
    The problem is that we can make calls between lync clients as long as one of them is located in the same subnet as the lync server. If both clients are on internet, the call cannot be setup.
    If the clients are connecting remotely to lync; and they are both in the same private network, then that works.
    If the clients are connecting remotely to lync; and they are at different locations between different firewalls, that does not work.
    If one of the clients are on a mobile phone connecting to the Lync server using the DATA connection; and the other one is connecting from home (no vpn); that does not work.
    If one of the clients VPN into the lync server's network and starts the lync client to talk to another client connecting to lync remotely via internet; that works.
    Any ideas what might be the problem?
    It is a demo Lync environment where we have everything loaded on one single server.

  • My caller id is not working on iphone 5 - it beeps but doesn't show who is calling or let me click over

    I have recently had my iphone 5 not show who is calling on call waiting.  The phone beeps but doesn't show the number / per son that is calling, won't let me click over and won't show who it was in my call history.  Help very annoying.

    1st go into your settings then tap phone to see if call waiting is turned on or off. If call waiting isOFF turn it ON. You can use also Apple article HT 4515. I would contact my wireless carrier reguarding the caller id not showing up and also with help reguarding your call waiting as well

    It will say "mobile" Home", etc under the name.
    You can also tap the blue arrow and see the highlighted number.

    No one from Apple here - we're just users like you. All I can tell you is that electronic fail and with MacBook Pros (and most notebooks) the components are so integrated as to make a repair to the logic board practically impossible, hence the high prices charged for repairs.
    Only you can decide if you want to have your computer repaired or put the money towards the purchase of a new computer. If you do decide to purchase a new unit I would suggest that you also purchase the AppleCare Protection Plan which increases your warranty from one year to three years.

  • Nokia N8 Can not see who's calling / display won't...

    Hi,
    I have the problem that when I get a call my phone will ring but there is nothing seen onto the display.
    When I use the unlock button on the side of the phone it unlocks and then I can see who's calling and take the call.
    When I want to hang-up, the display stays off and I can't hang up. I need to use the button on the side again to activate the display and then hang up.
    The same is with the alarm buzzer, I set my phone to wake me up in the morning.
    When the alarm goes, I cannot turn it of directly.
    I need to unlock the phone again with the button on the side of the phone and then I can press snooze or turn off alarm.
    Does anyone has experience with this or has a solution?
    It is a Nokia N8 got it now for 3 weeks and has the latest software on it.

    If the phone is not functioning correctly, as already suggested, it should be returned to a Nokia Care Centre for repair under warranty !

  • Overriding a javascript delivered function but then calling the original

    I have a tabular form (updateable report) and am on Apex 3.2.
    On this particular form, I have the updateable report set to "partial page refresh = yes". When doing so, it appears to want to call a javascript function called $a_report to paginate from one set of rows to another. I have my pagination set to select-list with row ranges.
    Before repagination continues, I would like to do some validation (specifically, see if the user selected any of the checkbox row selectors) and warn them via Javascript's "confirm" box that continuing will make them lose their selections.
    I have no issue so far in determining if at least one checkbox is checked and no problem popping up the confirmation box. However, the real issue is that I want to pop up the confirm box and then continue only if the user says they want to continue.
    Apex generates this report with the select-list and links to paginate by calling a function in Javascript called "$a_report". Since this is in the library, I cannot really get to it; it's a "black box" to me at runtime. So ideally what I'd like to do is create a local (on my page) javascript function of the same name (since I can't change what the select-list for pagination calls) accepting the same four parameters, do my checkbox validation and warning, and then effectively call the $a_report in the library to do the pagination if the user wants to continue.
    As it is right now I got a copy of the code for the function and put it local on my page and then added in my own logic, but of course this means that if $a_report changes in future versions, my local copy might break and would have to be updated. Ideally, I would like to somehow create a locally-named function called $a_report, do my validation and ask for confirmation, and if the user chooses "OK" to continue, call the library one in sort of a "super" or "parent" way to do the pagination.
    Is this possible with javascript to create some sort of OOP-like inheritance or some sort of sense of scope so that I can have a local copy and then call the one in the library?

    Explanation :
    When you create an object of type InheritedClass and you call the method doSomething( ) then the original method gets executed first and later the rest of the code written in the InheritedClass 's doSomething( ) method gets executed.I hope this works for you. If you do not want the original to be executed just remove the super.doSomething( ) call.

  • Who's calling me?

    Hay all.
    I think the N900 is a great phone except one big issue I have and it really annoys sometimes as I miss calls from it.
    When I lock the phone to put it in my pocket or put it down ECT... I lock it with the flick switch and the end of the phone.
    But when my phone starts ringing when receiving a call the screen in blank and I have to unlock the phone with that flick switch to see who’s calling, so by the time it starts ring, get it out my pocket, flick the switch, look who’s calling iv then missed the call near on most times....
    Iv had the phone for a few months now is there an option? Or an app? To the screen unlocks itself when receiving a call?

    Sounds like your proximity sensor is either faulty or blocked (top left when in landscape, just below front camera). The proximity sensor keeps the screen off/locked when the phone is in your pocket or a sleeve and a call comes through (to avoid accidentally answering the call before the phone is out of your pocket). If you have any screen protectors that are covering this sensor, it may affect the correct functionality of this sensor.
