Call Line Identifcation (CLI)

Hi,
Can i identify a user on it's Call Line Identifcation (CLI) when he uses, via mobile phone, my application and how i can do that and give the user access to my database?
To put it simple: someone calls and based on his CLI i want to display his (database) data.

Webservice for ICI to interogate CRM based on Calling Line ID

We are just starting looking at linking our telephony to CRM IC using the standard Web Services provided in the ICI but I cannot find any information/example on which WSDL I need to use to achieve my objective.
We are basically trying to start out with a very simple task of interrogating CRM based on the customer Calling Line ID (telephone number) to see if a record exists and then to send a response back to the telephony system containing customer account number if the calling line ID is found.
I have followed the configuration to setup the CRM end but just need help with what to send the developers at the telephony end.

The App Called Line Won't Respond Sometimes.

Hello,
I downloaded from the play store the app called Line. Its a chat app. But sometimes out of nowhere it freezes get black and a pop up say "the application won't respond shut the application now"?. Then i click OK, and it will close. After that i can open it normal and works again.
Any idea why this happens? I reinstalled it, and restarted my phone several times...but still getting this one time per day...

I have sent an email to them, they replied me back but i think this is a automatic message. I could figure this out myself too...i am dissapointed though...
If an application won't respond can this damage the inside of the phone or damage the processor? I really need this app...
First my message and second the one replied back to me:
I have downloaded the latest version of Line on my new Sony Xperia Z1. Many times each day i get a crash. When opening the app it will freeze and turn into black. A pop up appears saying the application won't respond. Then i need to click OK to shut the application down. I tried reinstalling it and deleting caches but this didn't help.Can this please be fixed?

Calling Line Restricted Problem

Hi to all,
in the following scenario ccme interconnected to Panasonic KX-TD-816-232 PBX through ISDN BRI, can't see calling line ID on incoming(for ccme) calls.
In voip ccapi debug i see Presentation=Restricted on the incoming dial-peer 10. Tried to override this field with no success. Please help with this. Will atach debug and running config.

Indeed the PBX is placing the call with presentation restricted:
Calling Party Number i = 0x01A1, '114' <-- BIT 5 is set !
Hence IOS is dutifully restricting CLID.
Please check PBX configuration to allow CLID presentation.

TS1702 I changed my account info on itunes and reinstalled an app called LINE so that I can buy stuff from LINE and now I can't. It's telling me to contact itunes support.

Z10 CLI Call Line Identification doesnt work unless ???

This is insane, Line Identification will not work unless you remove the country code i.e if the no is +123 98765432 you must delete +123 in order for the persons name whome you stored on your phone pops up , so if you have 1500 contacts god help you, This is one thing I will not do !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Caller line display failure with a Gigaset cordles...

Rather than adding to my previous posting I am restating my problem in the hope that somone has an answer to my puzzle.
I have failed to identify the cause of my Siemens Gigaset S795 cordless answerphone/handset system failing to show the incoming caller display. BT have now reset whatever they do in the local exchange 4 times and are sure the problem is not in their part of the system.
To summarise my problem solving process so far:
The system worked perfectly until 2 months ago.
*#234# confirms caller display is active.
An old BT standard handset displays incoming numbers properly.
A brand new replacement base unit has exactly the same problem.
Plugging directly into the BT master socket with the faceplate removed makes no difference.
The Siemens base and handset works and displays callers correctly when plugged into my neighbour's line.
My neighbour's Panasonic cordless phone displays correctly when plugged into my line.
Siemens Gigaset helpline gave me 2 different codes to reprogram the eeprom and we also completely reset the base unit. This made no difference.
Reversing the polarity of the incoming BT line makes no difference.
The phone makes and receives calls and the broadband is unaffected.
My suspicion is that the final overhead wires to the house are of a similar 20 year old vintage to the house and may be affecting the incoming signal.
Am I correct in assuming that an increased impedance might affect the ?lower frequency CLI signal while not affecting the higher broadband and speech signals?
Apart from buying yet another handset (Panasonic) is there anthing else I can try or suggest to BT?

At last. Posted to help others.
After multiple phone calls, script following 'help- lines', emails, messages and a tweet or two plus one engineers visit to confirm the line was OK it has finally been fixed. Today I had a second BT openreach engineer who appeared to know immediately what the fault was. After repeating all the previous engineer's checks he returned to the exchange to replace the ADSL unit and all is well again.
Now to see whether BT will compensate me for all my wasted time over the last 2 months especially after repeatedly threatening me with the £129.99 charge if nothing had been found.
Good luck to anyone else who has this problem.
BTW it was the second identical problem that this engineer had seen recently in the same (short) road.

System call, line continuation issue

I used Java system call on a linux script as below:
Runtime.getRuntime().exec(myScript.bsh);
Where myScript.bsh is a bash script file. While the bash script file was executed, the issue is that some scripts in the file were skipped during exectution when there is a line continuation symbol. e.g.
runCommandLine arg1 \
arg2 \
arg3
The above command in myScript.bsh will not be executed. However, it will be executed successfully if I put the above command in one single line without the use of line continuation.
I would appreciate any insights on how to get the script run with line continuation.

I would appreciate the help. This sounds like a *nix problem instead of a Java problem.
Confirm that you can execute the command directly in a terminal window.
You may have to wrap the call in a shell.

Updating Line via CLI?

We have CUCM v7.1.5, i have a small question is there a way to update phone/line paramters via Command Line Interface, particularly i am looking for setting up call forwarding? Thanks In Advance!

It's possible, however we do not support changing the DB directly.
We only support changing those parameters via BAT, GUI or AXL.
If you're still interested in this you can get the info of where the call forward settings are in the DB data dictionary for your CUCM version.

Cisco ASA disable command line interface (CLI) vor VPN Remote Access users

Hi,
I have local database for a couple of VPN Remote Access users on our Cisco ASA 5510 firewall. When adding users i asigned them the privilege leve 0. Is it possible to completly disable CLI for theses users as they will only be using VPN Remote Access and do not need to access the appliance cli.

HP call line too slow

Waited 28 min two days ago 38 and counting today. I wish the person responsible for the recorded messages had to listen to them over and over ad nauseum so he could enjoy them, too.

Trust me when I tell you that NONE of the phone lines indicated in your link are answered in real time, either.
While the forum is a place for user to user help - THIS forum is labled "your voice" and his "voice" is that, with each passing day, HP is becoming more and more like Dell -- and I don't mean that in a good way.
It is probably his hope - and it CERTAINLY is MY hope ... that once in a great while an actual executive of HP peruses these forums and listens to "our voices" and takes action. Although I certainly wouldn't bet the ranch on it.

Selective use of BT Call Minder? Make ring count ...

With Caller Line ID (CLI), I answer identified calls. Anonymous calls (Witheld, etc) I ignore - the phone rings, then if they're serious they leave a message. But I do have to go the phone to identify this as an unwanted call.
How can I further minimise the nuisance, and divert ALL unidentifiable calls directly and immediately to BT Call Minder, so they don't even cause the phone to ring out?
Then I don't have to waste my time going to the phone to read the CLI, and can pick up any real message later.
I'm sure it must be technically possible - just an extension of call barring really?

Is it call minder you have or BT Answer 1571?
If it is call minder you can change the ring down to zero (imediate answer)
If you have BT Answer 1571 you cannot chenge the setting.

Does SPA122 support a custom "From" header in SIP INVITE msg?

Our SIP service provider allows me to specify the calling line identification (CLI) for outgoing calls by placing the appropriate string in the "From" field of the SIP INVITE msg.
This is independent of the "User ID" needed to register with the service.
Does the SPA122 provier a way to specify a suitable "From" string?

You can use the 'Display Name' field to send another name or number out to the other side.
