Call log does not work. Iphone 4

Hi, I'm an Iphone 4 user, software currently on IOS 6.1.3, updated a couple of weeks ago.
Everything's fine and all, though one major problem that's been persisting - the call history is not working. Whenever an oncalling call (regardless if it's someone in my contact list or not) comes, the call log does not record the number and the entire log remains blank. I've tried resetting the settings as well as 'hard reset', but neither of these two have worked.
It's become absolutely frustrating, especially when I sold items off at Trademe and can't even track the phone numbers of anyone that gives a call saying they want to buy something (for the moment, I've currently got all pages saying that anyone interested should text my number, but as always, someone ignores that and just calls anyway). Not to mention it makes it a particularly big headache for work purposes as well and it obviously can't go on like this forever.
It'd be really appreciated if anyone can come up with a solution that can resolve this issue.

I don't know how widespread your experience is but it is not universal as all the functions you describe work correctly for me with an E52 and 052.003 firmware.
Even if the upgrade reverted the log settings for Log Duration to "None" the "Green" key and the Log menu icon should bring the log up but with it empty, of course.

  • Nokia E73- Call log does not display entries

    I recently purchased a E73 by itself.
    For some reason the call log does not display any telephone numbers or activity in recent calls; missed calls, received calls, dialed numbers. It would show that I have a missed call but when I enter it, it says (no missed calls).
    Any ideas? Please let me know...

    I don't know what they call it, but my plantronics voyager pro, and my wifes plantronics voyager pro+ will not let you hear music through the headset.  My Blueant T1 does support it and plays the music through the deadset.

    No magic solutions for a hardware problem.  You'll need to bring your phone to Apple for replacement ($149), or find a 3rd party to fix your phone (which will forfeit all future support on that phone, warranty or otherwise, from Apple)

    We have the following results when doing calls within the company:
    Desk Phone A (4567-X-Smith): 7801234567
    Desk Phone B (4568-Y-Miller): 7801234568
    Main Company Line: 7801230000
    All desk phones have the following type of configuration:
    Under the phone -> Line[1] -> Line1 on Device <MAC>
    Display (Internal Caller ID): 4567-X-Smith
    ASCII Display (Internal Caller ID): Our Company Name
    Line Text Label: 780-123-4567
    ASCII Line Text Label: 780-123-4567
    External Phone Number Mask: 7801230000
    Desk Phone A calls Desk Phone B
    - caller ID shows up properly on Desk Phone B as 4567-X-Smith
    User at Desk Phone A makes the call through the Jabber client to Desk Phone B
    - caller ID shows up as 7801230000
    This last situation is the problem since we want all internal calls whether they're form the desk phone or Jabber to show the proper caller ID. However, we want the generic main company line (7801230000) to show up to anybody outside the company. What is set incorrectly? Why does Jabber take over the line but not keep the same caller ID settings? Does jabber work as if it's doing an external call?

    Interesting... I just 4-digit dialed 8182 (typed in the Search field at the top of the jabber window) and my proper caller ID showed up...
    Next I tried 10 digit dial 7804988182 through jabber and it showed 7804988100 (our external calling mask). I also just noiced that it very briefly flashes 97804988182 so that seems to indicate it's trying to dial through the PSTN...
    Oddly enough, if I 10 digit dial through my desk phone, it shows the proper caller ID.

    iPhone bluetooth is for headset support only.
    i wasn't talking about iPhone Bluetooth but thanks anyway trying to teach me that iPhone doesn't support Bluetooth and next time try to teach me that iPhone doesn't support flash oeky???

    I'm sorry you are having trouble with your TV Caller ID.  Have you gone through each of the boxes and made sure that the caller ID is set enabled?  You would do this by pressing menu on the FiOS remote, go down to 'Settings' , from there go to 'Caller ID' and 'Check Availability'.  If this has been done, what you can try to do is to power cycle your set-top boxes in one of two ways.  You can pull out the power cord for 30 seconds and plug it back in or if the power cord is hard to get to, hit menu on the FiOS remote, go to 'Customer Support', then 'In-Home Agent' and finally 'Reboot Set-Top Box'.  If you still are having trouble, one last thing you can try to do is to unplug your FiOS Internet router for 20 seconds and plug it back in. 
    If these tips do not work, please PM me and I will take a closer look into your issue.

  • BOM Change Log does not work

    The change log for BOMs has been functional since the implementation of B1 in September of 2007.  Recently, it appears that the change log is not long keeping track of changes.  Has anyone ever seen this before, or have any ideas on how fix this issue?

    you are still using old version. Maybe the change
    The maintenance even has been stop by SAP support. The PL upgrade is also unavailable. Maybe you could contact partner around your country ask them about the latest PL of B1 2004B.
    if you escalate it to them, I am not sure they will answer.
    You need to upgrade to the new version i.e. 2005B. The maintenance is still available.
    Anyway, try this query :
    SELECT count(T0.[LogInstac]) FROM AITT T0

  • Iphone 3g show my caller id does not work

    When I toggle the 'show my caller id' button to off and make a call, my number still shows up on the receiving party's end. I can dial *67 and it will block my number if I dial it from the keypad, however.
    I am not sure if this only stopped working after the last update as I have not tried using it before now.

    That is usually a carrier setting that is default for most carriers. It should work automatically

  • Notification center and auto-lock does not work. iPhone 5 iOS 7.

    I have got an issue with my iphone 5 after installing iOS 7.
    AfterI switch on my phone everything works perfectly but after some time ( sometimes it is few hours, few minutes ) the following options stops working:
    1. Notification center -  I cannot slide it down, neither the one from the top or bottom. Nothing happens when I try to do that.
    2. Auto-lock screen stops working! It is eating my battery really badly.
    Everything comes back to normal after restart but then again... some things happen as I mentioned above. Please Apple fix this ASAP because it really is frustrating. Am I the only with who has this issue?

    Same here. For me, all three happens. Notification Center stops working, control center stops working, and the auto lock stops working. What I noticed:
    1. When I hold the power and home button together to do a force restart, the time it takes for the above problem to occur is far less than if you do a normal power off and on....
    2. Im currently running iOS 7.0.4... And with every update, the time it takes for the problem to come up again is getting shorter. With iOS 7.0.0 it used to be like 3-4 days. 7.0.2 it came down to 24-36 hours... Now, with 7.0.4 it happens within a couple of hours.
    It really gets frustrating because even if you are in the lock screen, the display doesnt turn off unless you manually press the sleep button....
    The only things I haven't tried yet:
    - Reset all settings (Frustration after the iOS 7.0.4 update might force me to do this within the next week....)
    - Restore the phone (Mine's 64GB 4S... And I don't sync my phone quite often so this is quite a hectic process for me. I dont want to do this unless I really have to)

    However I can see, that the bean is working correctly when I use Integration Engine.

    Your above posted system details show multiple Java Console extensions.
    You can uninstall (remove) the Java Console extensions and disable the Java Quick Starter extension, you do not need them to run Java applets.

    I recently upgraded from BB 8830 to BB 9630. With the 8830, I was able to display my Call Log on the phone screen, but I can't seem to make it happen with the 9630. According to the User Guide for the 9630, I should be able to change the Phone List View field to "Call Log." However, "Call Log" does not appear in the drop-down list of options on my BB. My choices are Most Recent, Most Used, and Name. What am I missing? Please help!
