I am trying to create a business role that contain logical links with different enhancements. I know how to choose an enhancement for the business role but I can't find a way, if possible, that one business role does it.
I know how to give an option to choose different roles for the same user, i'm looking for a way to do this in the same window

You do not want to edit material from different frame rates on one timeline. You CAN do this, but it is a very bad idea - and this is why.
Once you establish the sequence frame rate - lets say it is PAL material at 25fps, any material that you drop into the sequence other than 25 fps will have to be changed to play at 25 fps. If the material you add is NTSC (29.97), FCP will DROP 5 frames per sec to bring the frame rate down to 25 fps. Which 5 get thrown away? Every 6th one. This yields a funky cadence that becomes even more complex as as there are also interlaced fields (DV/NTSC is an interlaced format). Oh, and by the way, the image sizes are different as well. DV/PAL has 576 lines of resolution and DV/NTSC has 480. FCP has to scale up the NTSC to fit the PAL frame.
You do not want FCP adjusting these things on the fly. You want to do a thoughtful (and time consuming) conversion so that you end up with all your material in one format with the best possible image from the conversion process. Compressor can do an adequate job with Frame Controls turned on. The Natress Standards Conversion FCP plugin is another way to go. A third option is to find a post house that can do the conversion for you using a hardware based process.
The good news is, once everything is in the same format, editing it will be painless and the output process very quick.
Whatever frame rate/ image size you select, I'd suggest using ProRes for the codec. It is 4:2:2 color and will withstand color correction and composting with much more grace than any variant of DV based codecs.

How can i synchronize different contacts and different calendars with different iOS devices using the same Apple ID and iTune ID?

I have the following situation. 1 Apple ID. 1 iTune account. I have 2 ipads and 2 iPhones
1- I would like to have a set of 1 ipad and 1 iphone (mine) sharing the same contacts and calendar entries (synching from outlook)
2- I would like to have another set of 1 ipad and 1 iphone (my wife's) sharing contacts and calendar entries but obviously these would be a different set of contacts and calendar entries than mine
How can I set up my four devices to do this?

Have your wife log in to her user account on the laptop. Launch iTunes, then connect her phone to the computer with the USB cable. Sync. That should put back all apps and media. Since you already upgraded her to iOS 5 she'll have to manually enter all her settings and preferences, and organize her home screens.

Loading the different result sets in the same sequence for the target table

Dear all,
I have 5 tables say A,B,C,D as my source and i made 3 joins P,Q,R .the result sets of these 3 joins are loading into a target table X but with 3 different targets with same table name.
I created one sequence say Y as my target table has primary key and mapped to three different targets for the same target table which i need to load.
But after deployed and executed successfully ,i am able to load the data from three join result sets with differeent sequence numbers.
I am looking to load data like this.
If First Result set P has 10 Records,SEcond Result Set Q Has 20 and the third result set has 30 records then while loading data into first target it creates the seq for the 10 records from 1..10 and while loading the data for second result set ,it creates the sequence from 11 ...20 and while loading the third target with the third result set it creates the sequence from 21 ----30.
But i am looking to load the three result sets in the sequence 1to 10 but not like creating fresh sequence for each result set.
how can we achieve this in owb?
any solution for this will be appreciated.

My design is like following

-----> Join3 -------> Target3(Table X)<-----Seq1

Here the three 3 targets are for the same Table X as well sequence is same i.e seq1
If the First Join has 10 rows ,Seq1 generates sequence in 1 to 10 while loading target1
But while loading second target,Same Seq1 is generating new sequence from 11 but i am looking to load target2 and target 3 starting from sequence 1 but not from 11 or so.

How to auto download a link with MP3 every week on the same time?

i found this website where weekly the radiostation that i listen to,
posts the jazz show in mp3 format.
The name of the link stays the same, is there a possibility on a mac or iphone, to weekly automatically save the content of that link, in a folder on my desktop?
iv'e tried automator, but i dont succeed.

Copy ALL of this into a plain text editor:

Test the script by double clicking on it on the desktop. It should open a Terminal window with a progress meter, and you should see the file in the link appear on your desktop with a timestamp as part of the filename.

Using the beta version in the exact same manner as 3.6.11. Daily use involves editing mediawiki pages, perl based request tracker, nagios interface, and google searching for articles. I did the same steps in 3.6.11 and the links load almost immediately (even after clearing the cache).

Playing iTunes with different user accounts in the same computer

I just created another user account in my computer running windows XP, but when I try to open itunes in the new user account it ask me to close the other itunes that is running in the administrator account or vice versa, Why I can't run both itunes at the same time if both are in the same pc? I already checked in the preference panel the option for share my library music in both itunes just in case if that is the problem but still asking me the same. Am I doing something wrong?

iTUnes, in basic terms, does not play nice with the "Fast user switching" feature in windows turned on. THis feature (If memory serves me right) is automaticly turned on in windows when you create another user account. to turn it off, goto control panel>user accounts>change the way users log on and off.

Devices with different Apple IDs ring the same time when some one facetime me.

I have iPhone 5s and iPad mini. Each has its own Apple ID. But, when some one facetime me on one of them, both are ringing. Even one is in London, and one is in Austin.
How to fix to have iPad mini rings when facetime to it, or iPhone rings when facetime to iPhone, not both.

Thank you for helping me on this problem. To answer your questions,
- No, each device has different contact, i.e. "reach me.." to different email address.
- No, one of the Apple ID is totally new one for my iPhone 6s.
- I have done some testing. My son set up two different entries of my devices, i.e., one for each device. But, it is still ringing one both devices when he facetimes me using one of his entries.
But, it seems that if someone just has setup to reach me on one device in her device, then, only this device is ringing. So, I am not sure why. My son's set up are two different contacts to my devices.
I will do more testing when my son brings his device back home.

Cubes with different dimensions based on the same fact table

I have a fact table (f_a) with three dimensions (dim_a, dim_b, dim_c) and a one measure (m_a).
Is it possible to create cube with only one dimension (dim_a)?
Data for other two dimensions (dim_b, dim_c) should be aggreagated together.
Of course i can create second fact table with only one dimension, and then creating that cube would be no problem.
But is it possible doing this directly from the primary fact table (without creating second fact table)?

PS:i use AWM 9.2 to create target cubes. Source cubes i create with OEM 9.2

At the beginning i was confused by the numberous kind of cubes...
for example when i created cube in MS i just designed cube, picked fact table, and that's all. In Oracle firstly i create project of cube (first cube) in OWB. Then i export it to the OLAP Catalog (second cube). That cube in OLAP catalog is a source cube for the AW cube (third cube). Then i need to enable AW cube for OLAPI by creating another cube in OLAP Catalog (i use 9iR2, so OLAPI doesn't have direct access to AW cubes).
I spent much time until i could see my first sample cube in Discoverer or Excel as a final user should see it. :-)
Now i'm facing another problem - when you redesign cube (for example add another dimension), you can't just "refresh" it as it was in MS. You have to delete old cube and create new one. And deleting cube isn't so simple (i'm not sure which elements i should delete).
For testing and learning purposes i just create every cube in seperate AW. deleting whole AW is much simplier that deleting one cube.

Milestones with different statuses triggering at the same time

Hi Experts,
I have created a Project with 1 WBS Element and 1 Network.
Under Network i have created 1 activity and within that activity there are 2 Milestones.
1) First Milestone has status 'REL' and a Workflow assigned to it
2) Second Milestone had a status 'CNF' and a diff Workflow assigned to it.
i have used BO MLST_NETW as start conditions in both thw workflows.
I want the 1st milestone to trigger when the Network is release and the second when an activity is confirmed.
My problem is when i change the status to Release both the milestones/workflows are getting triggered.
Please let me know where i am going wrong .

Hello experts, I would like to know that it is possible have some Enhancement Set Framework to the same client.
In transaction sm30 with table "BSPWDV_EHSET_ASG" .I would like to assig different Enhancement Set to the same Client. It is possible?? I think that this is not possible because when I try to assing more than one Enhancement set for the same client. The second is not save in table "BSPWDV_EHSET_ASG".

You are right, we can't have more than one enhancement set per client.If you want to maintain different enhancement sets based on logged in user or some business role, you can implement a BADI-COMPONENT_LOADING with interface IF_BSP_WD_CMP_LOADING_BADI and do something like this inside the method GET_ACTIVE_ENHANCEMENT_SET:

Query distributed database with different character sets.

Hello experts, this is my situation:
I have two databases A and B, the same version 11.1.0.7, the same OS Suse Linux Enterprise 10 but with different character sets, A has WE8MSWIN1252 while B has AL32UTF8. The database B is my XML DB repository so there I have some XML type tables. I need to query this tables from the database A using a dblink and in fact I have done that but the XML content is trasformed due to the different character sets between the databases. Some time there are data loss and some time there are data missmatch.
Is there any way to query the tables stored in the database B without problems? I do not know if the following is correct: Maybe I can set the character set for the session in the database A during the time it query the database B. That is, change the character set in fly at session level.
Do you have any special suggestion?

The Globalization Support Guide for 11.1.0.7 has a chapter on character set migration that should be helpful. AL32UTF8 is a superset of WE8MSWIN1252 but it is not a strict superset. That is, it doesn't meet the second prong of the test in the documentation
The new character set is a strict superset of the current character set if:
Each and every character in the current character set is available in the new character set.
Each and every character in the current character set has the same code point value in the new character set. For example, many character sets are strict supersets of US7ASCII.Exporting the data from the A, changing the character set (or creating a new database with the AL32UTF8 character set), and then importing the data may be the easiest approach in your case.

Searching with different character sets

Hello,
we have a problem with Intermedia 8.1.6. running on Solaris.
The table contains the text with different character sets and that's the problem. User submits the query in his char.set and the IM sometimes doesn't find the data.
Idea is to create the index using the flat ascii chars and to search in ascii ... but how?
Can anybody help me?
