Call of Duty problem!,HELP..??

Just got call of duty(normal version,not expansion) and can play the first 2 levels fine,when it comes for the next level to load about half way through loading i get a error message saying "max number of disconnected paths excedded",has anyone any ideas on this as im sure iv read on here before that CoD plays ok on the Intel imacs...

I had the same problem and it's a software bug. I eventually found a mention of the problem on the developer's website (hard to find), with a very minimal, lame-*** fix that doesn't work, at least not for me. Support for this title is exceptionally poor, and it seems like if you have the problem too bad for you. I guess they are focussing more on COD 2, which so far works fine.

I'm going to guess videos buffer for a while also...
Two possibilities, one is you should close apps on the iPad, the other is your internet speed is not able to handle the demands of a high speed device.
To close apps: Double click home button, swipe up to close the apps.
To solve internet problem, contact your provider. Basic internet is not enough for video games and movies. Your router may be old and slow.

You have not deleted it from the purchases list, it is just hidden. To unhide an app, open the Mac App Store app, click the Account link in the Quick Links to the right of the pane and go to the iTunes in the Cloud section where you can manage hidden apps.

Problem with sound in Call of Duty 2

I bought Call of Duty 2 while my grandfather was buying a new iMac. We brought it home, set it up, and CoD 2 worked fantastically on his computer. I brought it home to my older iMac G5, and tried to set it up. The graphics are fine, the gameplay is there, but the only audio that plays is the background music and environmental sounds (wind, distant gunfire, etc.). No gameplay sounds (gunfire, voices, footsteps, etc.) can be heard. I read up on this in the forums, where people had solved the same problem by going to Audio MIDI Support in Applications/Utilities and changing audio output to 44,1000 Hz 2ch. I tried doing the same thing, but the audio output pane in the MIDI support app only said "output not supported". How can I fix this? Please help!

Hi
In Audio MIDI Setup, change Properties For to Built-in Output. It will then change from Output Not Supported to Input Not Supported & the Output bit will become active.
Another way of restoring sounds is to open GarageBand, play a few notes on the screen keyboard, then quit GarageBand.

Call of Duty 4 SP quits at Startup, please help!

I installed CoD4 on my machine, uploaded the 1.7 patch, and tried to play the game. The Multiplayer works fine, prompts me for the serial number, and takes me to the main menu. However, when i try to boot up the Single Player it bounces up and down in the dock for a couple seconds and then goes straight to an error message. It is not the disk or any of the the third party software, because it works on other MBPs with the same configuration (I did a test install on another to make sure). The problem has to be on my machine.

I got same COD4 SP crash on my MacPro early 2008.
But one strange thing is that I got this working prior I upgrade to a bigger internal HD...
When I installed first COD4 on by original boot disk (WD 320Gb), everything worked fine.
Few weeks ago I bough Samsung Sinpoint F1 1To disk, and used SuperDuper to get all files from my old disk to the new one.
Everything were fine exept the COD4 SP that were crashing.
I tried a complete de-install/re-install (without forgetting preferences, and other plist files from aspyr/cod4). But this doesn't help.
I opened a ticket on aspyr support web, and I provided all data possible (crash dump, specs and so one). BUt still no answer yet
Anyway, I have a way to play to COD4 SP... it is to boot on my old HD... weird.
I really would like to have COD4 working from my new HD, as I would like to used my old one for other stuff so...
I will keep you informed.

Call of Duty 3 connection problem

Ever since i got my xbox 360 i have never really been able to connect to many Call of Duty 3 servers. my router, WRT54G v3, is on the on the compatible router list on xbox.com, but for some reason i can connect to the CoD3 servers.
i've tried many guides on the internet, but none of them work. the guides say that its my NAT status thats the problem, but even when i have my NAT open, i still couldn't connect to servers properly. i've tried static ip on my xbox, dmz, UPnP, and port-forwarding but nothing seems to work. please help me.

To port trigger as great_white instructed, open up the router user-interface (do this by opening up internet explorer and typing on the address bar 192.168.1.1 - password is admin) Go the Applications and Gaming...

Call of Duty App Problem

I am not sure what my problem is. I downloaded the original Call of Duty, went through basic training, and now on my first mission in Normandy, I cannot get my guy to jump a stupid fence. I have tried everything I know but he wont go over the fence and I am permanently stuck. I have no manual so I am clueless what to do. Can anyone help?

If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup).
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.
You may have to force iPad/iPod into Recovery Mode

Ok so I've done what you said and this is what it's come back ....
I don't know that these are the errors , but they're the things which don't look right ...
Throughout the shut down there is a recurring line ;
It says ;

Then there are 2 more which I think are related ;
Com.apple.securityd 29 PID job has I overstayed its welcome , forcing removal.

Then the last process says "about to call: reboot (RB_AUTOBOOT).
Continuing...
And stops ...

You don’t install VS2010 on the client PC, then where did the Form Invoice not work? When you run it from another version of VS? Or when you run the application with application.exe?
Based on your description, one form works well, another form does not. I assume that two forms are in two different projects, then please check the .Net Framework used by the two projects. If they are different, you can use the
one used by the Form contact for Form Invoice.
Because this issue is a project issue, I recommend you to consult it on some application forum such as Windows Forms General forum for better support.

PS3 problems Call of Duty "DOWNLOADING GAME SETTIN...

Help required please. I can't get connected online with Call of Duty 4 the original Modern Warfare game. Its on the PS3 and I keep getting "DOWNLOADING GAME SETTINGS" everytime i try to play online. It was working up till 2 days ago.
Tried portforwarding:no luck
out the ps3 in the dmz: no luck
tried nearly everything i can think off

guess you've tried resetting the router to factory settings?
when i used to get the DOWNLOADING GAME SETTINGS (and things like the PSN and CoD servers were still running) a reset of the hub used to fix it, only happened on a couple of occasions tho.
also an option is to change the wireless channel, im running channel 11 and it seems better than channel 6 or 7, might be the placebo effect tho lol.

Call of Duty Advanced Warfare Preorder problem.

I preordered my copy of Call of duty Advanced Warfare PS4 on Oct 26th at the Bestbuy store. I put $5 down on preorder and my purchase history showing order {Removed per forum guidelines.}. I just went to midnight launch and I was going to use $10 call of duty ghost trade in promotion coupon and coupon wouldn't work when they scanned it. They void the transaction and restart the transaction. I"m afraid that they cancelled my preorder because on my new receipt it's showing order {Removed per forum guidelines.} and they cancelled previous transaction to restart new transaction. As long as both your initial pre-order deposit and My Best Buy membership information are reflected on your final sales receipt, then there's no need to worry! Remember that both base points and any applicable pre-order bonus certificates can take 15-20 days to post, so you won't necessarily see record of them right away. Pre-order bonus certificates also don't always appear as pending, and instead are simply available for use at the end of that timeframe.
