Call-Off and Forecast Excel-File does not work anymore?

The Excel-file e-mail sent does not work any more (Excel says: "The following system error occured: .") when opened with Microsoft Office 2010, which I have on my new
computer with Windows 7 Professional x64.
The file is quite important for checking order and forecast quantities retrieved via OLAP-task from 101AS.

PS: When i use Excel 2007 all work fine. But when i clean Install Excel 2010 it wont work anymore. So but when i upgrade 2007 to 2010 it still working? Can it be true that a
file of the 2007 Edition is missing on 2010? Thanks for your help!

Upgraded LV7 to 8.2.1 and List Folder pattern does not work anymore as it did

I have upgraded LV7 to 8.2.1 and use XP.
In a vi developed in LV7 I used the List Folder with pattern input to check wether a file name already exist in a folder (path). This worked very well in LV 7 as the function return the filename if the exisiting filename matched the pattern input. In 8.2.1 this fucntion still exists but it does not return the filename as it used to do which is rather annoying.
Has anybody else experienced this ie is it a bug? or is the operation of the function changed?

Hi Jack,
I can understand your frustration.. We had a thread complaining about the changes when it was first introducted. Now that I'm used to it, I wouldn't go back..
However, you can keep all versions of Labview installed on the same PC, meaning that Labview versions 7.0, 7.1, 8.0, 8.2, 8.5 can all happily co-exist on the same PC. The benefit is that you can use the original version that you developped your code and continue to enhance the code using the original version without having to adapt to the newer version. However, going up versions should be compatible, unless you are adding new features.
There is one catch in what I described. And you must keep a backup copy of your code. If you open an older version using a newer version and save it, you cannot open it again in your older version, unless you use Save As Previous. For that reason, it is best to keep an extra copy somewhere (which is always good practice anyway).

Reinstalling CS2, and dragging/dropping files does not work

I have Photoshop CS2. Or at least I
had it. I had updated my operating system to Tiger, and it just caused a bunch of files to change, nothing really bad. It gave me an error message upon opening photoshop that "files necessary for running Photoshop were missing from the Application Support folder"
So I read the advice on this FAQ:

The problem you got into is a known problem after updating to Tiger. It is a small 4K file that gets trashed with the update. It is called the Adobe Unit Types. Both Photoshop and Photoshop Elements need this file to function.
One way to get it back is to reinstall Photoshop, the other is to add this file again.

[hard disk] /Library/ScriptingAdditions. If you don't have a Scripting Additions folder, you create it.
As you trashed Photoshop, you need to completely deinstall it to be able to reinstall it.

After upgrade to Yosemite, drag and drop for files does not work, destination folder crashes.

Trackpad browser navigation does not work anymore.

I've just noticed that I cannot navigate in the browser anymore with the trackpad... forward and backwards does not work anymore...
I've attached the new Mighty Mouse yesterday and installed the 10.6.2 update today.
Was sitting on the couch and noticed that it does not work anymore. Checked the
prefs of the Trackpad and ticked/unticked the box, however to no avail.
Anybody else noticed this problem or does anybody knows how to fix it???

Anton, I wish I could help. I had an old iPod Classic (60 KB) as a gift but it went dead, I dropped it a few times accidentally, and it sat carefully saved until I had sufficient resources, energy and time to get the matter addressed. In my case, I actually took the thing (after making sure it was charged) to an Apple store and one of the geniuses at the genius bar at the back of the store took it and did a few things (unseen and un-noted) with his fingers and handed it to me with a sly smile. Voila, the thing was functional. I got a re-functionalized iTunes account and store access when I bought my iMac. I did lose a few tunes along the way because it didn't recognize my new iMac as the source (my old dead PC laptop), but I have a more functional memory than the iPod and recovered them all in other ways. The whole thing is humming better than ever. At over 11 gb full, I have 4.2 days worth of portable listening. Be patient; it took me four years to get musical nirvana in a pocket, but you'll get there faster. Call support.

Why does Adobe sendnow work and the newest and greatest Adobe Send does not work? I wasted about 8 hours on trying to get Adobe Send to upload 269 files that amounted to 469MB. When it did not work I made a zip file and after a lot of wasted run time that did not work. The first situation gives little indication of when a file is loaded compared to Adobe SendNow. In both cases with Send it failed with a message like only the first 50 can be loaded. When I went and looked none of them had been loaded. With the zip file (I wanted to hide the individual files so they would not be counted) it appeared to work but very slowly and finally said it was done and I went and looked and it had done anything for oever 2 hours except a false "I'm runninng" indication.
Thus, I took a chance with Adobe SendNow and it works great. It never gave me a limit on the amount of files nor on the size of the complete job. It shows me one file at a time when it has finished with the file uploading it. SendNow has never given me any problems.
Why woiuld you want to change the program from SendNow to Send without the newest program being the best, fastest, user friendly program of the two? It just doesn't make sense to me. I suggest that Adobe keep SendNow working until Send is fixed. I would also suggest that SendNow and how it looks be kept, called Send, then modify Send one thing at a time until you get it to the point you need it to be for Acrobat. I have heard nothing good and now I have experienced it that Send is a piece of junk. I wasted most of my work day on giving Adobe the benefit of the doubt to find out I made a very bad decision to trust Adobe to make good decisions on the transfer of a function to another place .... both Adobe's responsibility.without making it painless for your customers that totally rely on you. Don't throw away customer confidence as it is very hard to get it back.

Yep! Verizon living up to it's contractual obligations by not releasing updates. Caveat emptor!
I think there are some reasonable expectations here to keep customer's happy. When one carrier offers upgrades there is an expectation the same will happen across all the carriers. We have seen that except Big Red.
Verizon could have said the update is in MS court months ago and stilled the voice of the disgruntled, or at least redirected it, but instead chose to be silent. Not for market share but for partial blame I think.
We will have to agree to disagree since you only see Terms & Conditions and I, see customer satisfaction.

Is that an error 2 message?
If so, let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you?

Try troubleshooting the Safari .plist file.
Quit Safari.
Open a Finder window. Select your Home Folder in the Sidebar on the left. It has a small house icon. Then open the Library folder then the Preferences folder.
Move the com.apple.Safari.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Desktop. Relaunch Safari. Try a bookmark.
If that didn't help, check Safari / Preferences then select the Extensions tab. If you have any installed, turn that off, quit then relaunch Safari.
If Extensions aren't the issue, reset Safari. From the menu bar click Safari / Reset Safari. Select the top 7 buttons, click Reset.

I'm surprised you get no message when you attempt opening the Excel document in Numbers.
I'm assuming Numbers 3.1, since you are running Mavericks.
Does the Numbers file that opens show any content?
Does it contain a table?
How large?
Does it contain more than one tab (indicating more than one sheet)?
Do those other tabs contain a table?
Have you checked those tables for data content?
There have been cases in the past of imported documents opening with white text on a white background, giving the appearance of containing nothing. Check for this by selecting a block of cells, then applying a Fill colour or a Text colour using the Format button (paintbrush).
I'd also suggest attempting to open the Excel files using LibreOffice, which can be downloaded from the linked website.

I am using a Nvidia 4200M adapter in my Laptop, Driver 266.96, Direct X 11
In my desktop I am using an ATI XFX 6950, latest revision drivers (I am not at home right now so I cant get that info).
The issue I did describe above, but it was a long explanation.
In some flash games the game files load initially and get as far as the "click to start" button. Then the flash area usually goes either all white or all black (usually depending on the falsh game default background color) and then it stays that color. Cant see anything after hitting start (usually most games have an intro video or animation before the game starts, but I cant see any of it.
For the very few games that do start, the flash game or application does not seem to work correctly in that when the rare game starts, it wont save any game files or save files to the pc and so if I exit the game (navigate away to another page or close browser) and then later come back, even though I click the option to save games (and ensure that the flash application slider shows it can save files and lots of space) it does not save and I have to start from the beginning all the time.

Disconnect the iPad, do a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. The screen will go blank and then power ON again in the normal way.] It is 'appsolutely' safe!, reconnect and follow the prompts.
