Call overflow/redirect on CCX failure

Hi,
There is some way to configure a call overflow / redirect wen the CCX 8.5 is out of service (network or server problem)?
Thanks in advance
Paulo

Hi,
Thank you all.
In lab I've used this configuration, and works OK:
Device / CTI Route Point / Configure Device / (Line [1] - 1692 (no partition)):
Call Forward and Call Pickup Settings
Forward on CTI Failure = 2004
      Forward Unregistered Internal = 2004
      Forward Unregistered External = 2004

  • Thanks this was very useful.. I have a brand new iphone 4s unlocked version from singapore and I am having the same problem constant network fluctuations, no service, call failed, invalid sim, sim failure, bars fluctuating from 5 - 3 - 2 - 1, no signal/ba

I have a brand new iphone 4s unlocked version from singapore and I am experiencing constant network fluctuations on my iphone , no service, call failed, invalid sim, sim failure, bars fluctuating from 5 - 3 - 2 - 1, no signal/bars searching etc... Ifeel miserable after trying out all the options changed multiple sims, tried multiple carriers, restored the phone back and have set-up as new device but the problem does not get solved... its is so frustrating that after investing on a world's most expensive phone you cannot enjoy the calling features which the phone offers which is the main thing you own the phone for.. Rest of the things are working.. The funniest part I am not able to make calls or receive calls but can access the internet..  I have tried every possible thing and really very frustrated with this iphone of mine...I hope the problem gets solved.. would anyone have any solutions to this problem.. Does it mean one should never update software as I hear that after updating to IOS.5.1 the problem has started coming and same has been with there.... Apple says its a hardware failure which is very difficult to digest as sometimes I get 5 bars and able to make and receive calls but 95% of the time I am unable to. If anyone has any solution I will be very happy if he or share can share the same. Many thanks. its so disgusting to experience this on top of this apple does not support global warranty for the phone as you need to go to the country from where you bought the phone for replacement.. Truly sad state of affairs.. very very very dissappointing.

Have a look at this it might help

  • API Calling and redirecting

    HI everyone,
I m calling an API which is in the form of XML, and i m convering xml data in to strings with in *1-2 seconds*. My jsp working totally fine and i m passing those XML data to second.jsp. But some times it takes more than *10 seconds*.
In this situation i have to redirect the page to third.jsp(i mean after a perticular time period it should rederct - third.jsp). I m calling a body onload javascript function updatetime() for checking the time and redict the page(after 10 secs). But the function is working after calling the API and it is working fine, after 10 secs. which is not usable for my page.
This is my problem. Is there any solution for it? plz replay me

  • Calls being rejected with CTI failure / timeout

I have UCCX 8.5.1.11002-22 deployed with UCM 8.5.1.13900-5.
    This is a new installation.
The site is experiencing a high number of Rejected calls. I getting a mixture of two errors:
ABLISHED]->HELD; nested exception is:  com.cisco.jtapi.PlatformExceptionImpl: Cti request timed out
    and
    Reject: Trigger Failed
When this starts almost 50% of calls hit this error, and is only recoverable by restarting the UCCX Engine. I have synch'd the JTAPI versions and no changes have been made. I have also checked the checked CTI Ports and CTI Route points and all are registered and configured.
Has anyone else seen a similar issue with UCCX 8.5?
    Regards,
    Alex

On scrolling through the logs I see a high number of the CTI timeouts when attempting to take the call off hold (while in the queue)
I noticed that the MoH Media Server had Multi-casting enabled. I have disabled. Does anyone know if this could potentially be related as I believe multi-casting is not supported with UCCX.
    Thanks,
    Alex

  • C# Calling SAP RFC/Web Service Failure

    Hi SAP Experts,
I am facing this problem. When an external system is calling my SAP RFC/Web Service, the external system(which is not SAP) is not getting the correct value. But when I test the RFC in SAP GUI It is working correctly. When I test between SAP server A & SAP Server B it is working correctly which is the recepient server is getting the correct value. What might cause this problem ? Urget help is needed here. Thanks.

    Hi Hadi,
U need to expose a custom RFC as a Web Service. This is a simple web service that returns Customer Data (from kna1) based on the Customer ID which we provide as input.
In the RFC, U have to declare an internal table (G_RET) in the tables section of the RFC.
Now, U have to test the web service, U can see a check box with NULL option beside the G_RET.
    cheers,
    Hema.

  • OIF redirect on login failure

We have a requirement where the customer wants the user to be redirected to another page if the user record does not exist in our database. Currently, if the user record exists in our database, their federated id is created in OID when they login for the first time. Is there a way to redirect the user to another page if their user record does not exist in our database?

the strength of the encryption is inversely proportional to the strength of the password
    protecting it.
The problem with file vault is the password cannot be cut and pasted, so the strongest
practical password is the strongest one that you can constantly live with typing it in by
hand every time it is asked for.
In my world, that would mean a very weak password. I'm not going to try to manage a
    monster password from memory.
I use a truecrypt container instead to keep the important stuff safe. I use a thumb drive
(IronKey) to store the monster password and the keyfiles on for the truecrypt container.
After login, I mount the truecrypt container using the password and keyfiles stored on the
    IronKey.
You can create an applescript or bash script to read the password file and save it to the
clipboard, then paste it in the truecrypt login window.
    The terminal command:
    cat /Path/to/passwordfile | pbcopy
(replace "/Path/to/passwordfile" with the proper file path on the thumb drive)
will read the password and copy it to the clipboard. Password will not be echoed
for the world to see either. DO NOT FAIL to clear the clipboard though, copy
something else unimportant to it afterwards.
An automator script or an applescript or a bash script or the CLIX program could be used
to automate the "monster password to clipboard" chore.
If you would rather use an encrypted sparse bundle instead with a monster password
securing it, simply use terminal to mount it instead of clicking it. You can paste in a monster
password to open an encrypted sparse bundle using terminal.
    in terminal;
    at the prompt:
    hdiutil attach /Path/to/sparsebundle
When terminal asks for the password, paste it in, press return.

  • Checking number of queue calls and redirecting

I am wanting to add a variable into my script that checks the number of calls that are currently queued and if the number of queued calls is greater then three any additional calls will be sent down a Call Subflow to another script. I have attached a copy of the script I am using, the issue that I am facing is that when I get a call queued in my Reception CSQ the next call goes down the call subflow when in actually I want the second and third call to queue and the fourth call to go down the call subflow.

Looking at your script you are checking if there are agents logged in, and if so you send the call to Queue Call label, which is below the check for calls in queue, your success node from agents logged in should go to another label that checks calls in queue.
    HTH,
    Chris

  • OIF redirection on login failure

We are using OIF 10g as the SP. We have a requirement to redirect the user to a specific URL if their credentials are not found in our federation data store. Currently, if the user successfully authenticates at the IDP but their credentials are not in our federation data store, the single sign-on login page is displayed. We want to change this behavior and display another page instead of the single sign-on login page. Can this be achieved? Thanks.

  • Missing prefix on phones display on calls to CCX CSQ

    Hi,
Have this problem, we are putting prefix 0 on all incomming calls (Calling Party) so users are able to callback directly from the directory on the phone (Recieved Calls etc..) This has been done on a translation pattern that translates all incomming calls. This works fine when calling directly to IP phones. But if we make a call to the CCX and a agent is answering the call they are able to see the prefix in tha CAD agent but not on the phone´s display. Does anybody have an idea why the prefix is missing when the call is from the CCX.?
CCX version 9 and CUCM version 9.1
    /David

Interesting. The CTI redirect must be causing the call to revert to the Original Calling Party Information. I'm unaware of this behavior but can't proclaim it a defect since I lack documentation to support a definitive answer.
So, how to deal with it? Using the service parameter (or the H.323 gateway-level parameter if applicable) is one option. Another would be to prefix it on the gateway using a translation-rule and -profile before ever sending the call to CUCM.

  • Problem with "call redirect" in CRS script

    Hi all,
I have just started to get myself familiar with scripting in Cisco CRS (version 5.0(2) but have run in
to a problem which I do not understand.
I have created four applications and three queues. One application is just a menu script, that
when the appropriate key is pressed, redirects callers with the "call redirect" function to the
trigger entry number of one of the other three applications which is assigned to a queue.
When a call goes directly to the trigger, not through the menu script, the call is correctly added
to the historical reporting database. When the call is redirected by the menu script, it will not
    show up in historical reporting.
    scenario:
    external number1 --> Menu  --> choice 1 --> call redirect(external number2)
                                             --> choice 2 --> call redirect(external number3)
                                             --> choice 3 --> call redirect(external number4)
    external number2 --> queue1
    external number3 --> queue2
    external number4 --> queue3
    Thank you for your help.
    kind regards
    Andreas

    Hello Jonathan,
for instance in the Contact Service Queue Activity Report (by CSQ) the calls, redirected by the menu
script, do not show up in the total/handled or abandoned calls count. In realtime reporting an active call
coming from the menu script is shown as reserved.
    thank you
    kind regards

  • Show incoming redirected calls as they are redirected on 8100?

    Hi Everyone,
Let me describe my problem: I have a client with a BB 8100. He also had a desktop phone with a green number on it. So it have to work like if someone is calling this green number, then the desktop phone redirects the calls to my client's BB 8100.
It works like charm, but my client's problem is when someone calls the green number, then the one's number appeare on his BB device as a normal call. Since he needs to say a special greeting speak to the caller's of green number its a big problem.
So is there a way on BlackBerry 8100 device to set up when a call is redirected from another phone then on the BB shown as a redirected call, not like a nomal?
Far as i know this is a function what is in every low level Nokia phone normaly (a little arrow appear when a call is not directly to the phone but a redirected one).
If there is a way how could i set it on the device?
    Thanks for your help really!
    Best regards

Wow, so it's been 6 months and no one from this company has patched or solved this issue?  This has just started happening to me with this latest update.  Everyone who calls me gets hung up on and told I'm busy even when I'm not.  It's seriously pissing me off, since I'm using this for work meetings and such.  It's ridiculous.  FIX IT.

Thank You Tyson for your quick replay,
and .. I apologize me for mine bad English.
My problem is that after a validation failure (with in line notification) the page load event IS NOT fired (in some case): so my script is not executed.
I would like to execute this script however and I don't know where and how to call it.
I give You more detail ......
I'm working on a page that contain a tabular form; in this form, using my script (called "disable_field"), Ii set to read-only some fields.
I call my script in "Execute when page load" section of page definition.
If the validation failure is produced by an update of some records in my tabular form all is OK : the inline notification is shown, the page is re-loaded and my script is executed.
If I add a new record and, after the submit, a validation fail, the page IS NOT reloaded (I don't know the why) and my script is not executed (so all fields are modifiable and this is not how much I want)
I will appreciate very any help
    regards

  • Virus try to brute-force my unlock screen pin on iPad immediately after FaceTime call redirect

    Hi all!
I guess there could be exploit in FaceTime/call redirection proto. It's the 3rd time when I see my iPad is flashing with digits brute-forcing pin code to unlock screen and does not react on any touch or buttons.
    The scenario is as following:
    1. I receive a call on iPhone
    2. Call is redirected to iPad via FaceTime
    3. After call is answered from iPhone, iPad do not fall into sleep
    4. iPad does slide to unlock!
    5. iPad start flashing with digits (it looks the same when you tapping and after any touch digit flashes). The sequence is traditional: 1111,1211,1221,etc,etc...
    6. Finally iOS blocks pin entering with timeout and iPad back to normal operations, reacts on buttons and touches.
I talk about iPad2/iPhone4S running latest iOS 8.3.
If anybody get the same problem, please write here.

What you describe sounds more like a problem with your iPad's touchscreen than a hack. There's no known method for brute-forcing the lockscreen code in that manner.
Note that the sequence you describe isn't really "traditional"... the only digits you describe as being used are 1 and 2, which are right next to each other... a problem with the touchscreen in that region could easily explain that. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to clean the screen. If that doesn't help, contact Apple for diagnosis and service.
