Call rejection via text

I am looking for a way to turn off rejecting a call via text. Is this an option? My wife is blind and does not text  nor does she have a texting plan and has already sent me texts on accident while trying to answer the phone. She is using the iphone 5s.

I am not aware of a setting to change this. All you can do is change the text that is sent. You can provide feedback to Apple if you would like to see a change. Go to www.apple.com/feedback and click on the appropriate link.

  • Cannot send pictures via text message since software update...HELP!!!!

    Although I am a BIG FAN of BB Torch (have had several), BUT since it was discontinued, I had no choice but to "up grade" to BB Z10...IT was working just fine...NOT as good as the Torch though, but I was getting use to it...TILL the new software came along last week (Tuesday), so after doing just that, up dating my phone, I saw that I was NOT able to send or receive pictures via text message. I did called ATT, deleted everything, resintalled my data/information...and STILL nothing.
    I "google" the problem, and was sooooo SAD to find out that I was NOT the only one, and that THIS problem is AN OLD ONE (2013), but BB has done nothing to fix it.
    I did read on of the technical support answers and followed every single step, but STILL NOTHING, NADA...no able to send neither receive pictures...PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!

  • PO rejection via workflow

    Hello Guru's,
    I have a senario where the PO needs to be released or rejected in Background mode via workflow.
    Currently I am using the task with calls the transaction ME29n, but you all know the users will not have authorization for transaction ME29n.
    For release we can use the BAPI "BAPI_PO_RELEASE".
    My question is how the PO can be rejected via WF in BG.
    Please guide me.

    I am using Cisco Call Recording feature that is enabled on a phone that has a CTI Port and number assigned to invoke a call recording session to dial out a Long Distance number. I used JTAPI tool to invoke a call and then used the CTI that was invoked by the BIB to dial a long distance number. The call leaves the phone and gets to the gateway (MGCP) with 2 T1 Pri's and in the debug I see this error:

    I have looked into the issue. If you are trying to create the BP with general role 000000, i think it might not be possible via LSMW.
    The error message is correct, because role 000000 is indeed not relevant for update because if you can see in the customising Tx BUSD, 'FLAG - Do not update' will be active. This is the reason why you are getting the error message of 'No update is defined for the role 000000'.
    When you insert a partner in role "000000 General Business Partner",the error message "BP role cannot be updated" will be returned. This error message is very specific for this issue. You can create BP in different roles apart from the general role.
    Indeed if you try to change the 'Do not update' flag to inactive state and process the LSMW project you will be able to create the BP but it is strictly not recommended.
    This role is a technical role which exists for the creation of BP, and immediately you will fall back to other roles available for the partner.
    So i feel you need to change the role before you create BP with this role via LSMW.

    If you still can't send or receive MMS messages
    To send and receive MMS messages on your iPhone, verify that your wireless carrier supports MMS2.
    Ensure that MMS Messaging is turned on in Settings > Messages.
    Verify that your phone is able to access cellular data.
    Some carriers allow you to edit your APN (Access Point Name), which may prevent MMS from working.
    If you are roaming outside your calling area, make sure you have Data Roaming turned on in Settings > General > Cellular to send or receive MMS content.
    While on a phone call, you will be unable to send or receive MMS messages when using an EDGE, GPRS, or any CDMA cellular data network. After the phone call ends, you will receive any incoming messages. If you tried to send an MMS message, you may need to send it again.
    If the issue persists and your wireless carrier has confirmed that your wireless account is provisioned2 for MMS, restore the iPhone.

    There is nothing I can find in "Preferences" in Facetime to turn that on or off. I suspect it has to do with having a more current operating system; that the "controls" are in the operating system? [I'm guessing] It's frustrating getting Facebook calls from several friends on Ipads! Any ideas...VFP

    Exactly, what Apple is doing is leveraging new features only on newer OS X versions to force you to upgrade OS X to 10.7 or later.
    What they don't tell you is 10.7 or later will NOT run your PowerPC based software, some of it you can't get Intel versions like for perfectly working printers, scanners and games etc. So it can be a very expensive OS X upgrade to 10.7 or later with third party software.

    Also they don't tell you is the risk in bricking your machine if the update goes badly, so you have to have AppleCare in case that occurs so it's on them to fix it. Else your paying money to replace the logicboard or buying a new machine prematurely.
    A four year old machine can't have AppleCare, it's only good for 3 years from date of purchase new.
    Your machine came with a boot hard drive, it's usually got about 4-5 years of life on it, then it needs to be replaced.
    Also they don't tell you the newer OS X version has more abilities and features that causes your machine to slow down in performance, especially on older machines.
    Also they implement new, idotic and extremely fustrating new user interface features in a arbitrary "you take it or leave it" manner with little or no fall back method.
    So upgrading OS X is a gamble on older machines that otherwise would likely work perfectly fine for the next 5 years if one didn't need to have to mess with it.
    Since Snow Leopard has slightly over 25% OS X version market share, your still good for security updates etc for the next few years if you just want to stay where your at and be happy.
    OS X 10.4/10.5 need to upgrade, 10.6.8 ok still
    The Lions are, well, not so welcome due to Scott Forstall retard UI issues, OS X Mavericks 10.9 is likely going to fix things a bit better.
    But basically what is occuring is Apple is trying to force a faster hardware upgrade cycle with the more expensive products by leveraging features on the smaller devices that expire sooner.
    Apple is a hardware company that leverages whatever it can to get you to buy more hardware, it's why they are as rich as they are.

    Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities.  I would be concerned as well if I wasn't able to view the images that were sent to me in Messages.  I found some steps that might help with this:
    If you still can't send or receive MMS messages

  • Can't hear the Audio on a video sent via text.

    Sometimes my phone won't play the audio part of a video that was sent to me via text.  Yet the same text was sent to my husbands iphone and the audio is fine.  The video plays on my phone but you can't hear anything.  And yes the volume is turned up:)  Any thoughts?

    I'm actually being overwhelmed by thoughts on this one right now. After all, this is a very odd situation and we intend on fixing it ASAP.
    Now, the most important question I can ask is if this only happens with videos texts that audio cuts out? Or is this happening at all during calls, while playing YouTube clips, etc.? If it's just text messages, do you use a third party messaging application or the stock application? If it's a third party app, please uninstall it. But, let's assume we're on the stock app. For starters, please start by removing the SIM for at least 60 seconds so as to refresh your phone with our network. Then go ahead and delete your old text message threads so as to give you a fresh start. Finally, please shoot a video text to yourself, test, and update us on your findings so we can proceed if necessary.

    Is it possible to send photos via text message instead of email?

    No. This is called MMS and is not a function of the iphone.
    E-mail works as you can send and receive pictures to and from your iphone, to and from other peoples cell phones.

    Please call your service provider to find out if there are any limitations on attachment sized for your phone plan.
    I tried looking up to verify how to manually set up email for the email app for your phone, but was not sure what model you had: please check here for troubleshooting info [http://www.vodafone.com.au/help/devices/ota-settings] if the email is already set up, please ignore.

    If you are unable to access the images from the account with Vodafone, it may be the following bugs that is affecting this.

    RESOLVED!!! I logged on to my Straight Talk online account, and did a Tech Chat. They immediately gave me a direct phone number and a Reference PIN number and asked me to contact their iPhone specialty support. I called (of course the gentleman's accent was very difficult for me to understand, but managed with asking continually for clarity). He walked me through several tests, setting changes and had me get on my wifi to obtain the latest APN settings. None of his efforts worked ad it was obviously NOT my Straight Talk iPhone 5, 64GB CDMA (no SIM) - it was something with their setting on their end on my account. I was placed on hold a few times and he would come back on to have me try to get on Safari and even Google... after the 3rd on-hold, he returned and asked me to try to use my data again without the wifi turned on and BINGO it worked... I still do not have my wifi turned on and I'm still receiving texts from YESTERDAY too while I was away from wifi service. IF you come across this issue - please call Straight Talk and/or log on to your Straight Talk online account and talk to an online customer service representative and get their direct line phone number for iPhone support and have your Reference PIN number available.
