Call to undefined service "alloc_virt"
Hello everyone, I'm new to Solaris9-sparc.
I had to add the patches for daylight savings, I got the message that some packages are missing. Looked in one of the patch log files.
I installled
SUNWcpr.m,
SUNWmdb,
SUNWmdbx,
SUNWcar.x
I did a init 6 and it's in a loop ever since (about 3 hrs).
I did a init 0 to do a boot cdrom but I don't get the ok..
Any suggestions?
thanks in advance
You could send a break through the terminal menu. Tera Term has that option

1) Configured Php4.4 to have oci8 enabled with Apache2.2 on Windows 2000 ( service pack4). No error at the time of Apache start but when trying to connect to Oracle using Oracle Instant Client below error is thrown..
"Fatal error: Call to undefined function: ocilogon() in C:\Apache2 \htdocs\star\dbconnect.php on line 7"
Configuration steps..
1) Uncommented "extension=php_oci8.dll" in php.ini to enable oci API's.
2)Configured Oracle Instant client by adding path to Windows path variable as per it documentation.
3)Copied all Php4.4 dlls( oci..etc) into the directory pointed by "PHPIniDir", which is configured in httpd.conf
If i run phpinfo(), i dont see oci8 enabled in the output. I guess there is problem in the configuration? Any insights into the error is greatly appreciated..
BTW, I did same configuartion on Windows XP and is working fine..Also, I dont see path value for path variable in phpinfo() ouput for Oracle Instant Client, which i updated in Windows?
Below is the snippet of ouput from phpinfo().

OSB: Calling MTOM business service from non-MTOM proxy
Hi,
it is very easy to call non-MTOM business service from MTOM enabled proxy service, but I don't know how to do it in an opposite way. I have web service proxy (http) with binary data in Base64 in a soap body element and I'd like to call a business service (web service over http again) using MTOM format to send binary data in binary format (and not in Base64 as it is in proxy). Is it possible to somehow decode binary data from Base64 in a proxy service and send them from this proxy to a business service using MTOM?I understand the flow you propose, but I don't know how to pass decoded data from Java callout back to message flow. As far as I know I can only return primitives, String and XmlObject, because anything else can't be processed in message flow.Yes you are correct.But you can also return DataSource in java callout. Please http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13159_01/osb/docs10gr3/userguide/pojo.html
Now the working solution/POC --Tested on my local linux box
package manoj.javacallout.binary;
import java.io.BufferedReader;
import java.io.ByteArrayOutputStream;
import java.io.InputStream;
import java.io.InputStreamReader;
import java.io.OutputStream;
import javax.activation.DataSource;
import javax.mail.util.ByteArrayDataSource;
import com.sun.org.apache.xml.internal.security.utils.Base64;
* TODO: I have use sun internal API for decoding for simplicity. You should modify this code with any base64 decoding library
* Ideally should be using using http://commons.apache.org/downloads/download_codec.cgi
* @author mneelapu
public class Util {
public static DataSource decodeBase64(DataSource ds) throws Exception {
InputStream in=ds.getInputStream();
BufferedReader bin = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(in));
byte[] decodedB64=Base64.decode(bin);
ByteArrayDataSource decodedDS= new ByteArrayDataSource(decodedB64,"binary/octet-stream");
return(decodedDS);
Java Callout to decodeBase64
Parameters
javax.activation.DataSource=[ $body/* ]
Result
javax.activation.DataSource=response
Now replace the $body with the decoded base64 response from java callout
Replace [ node contents ] of [ undefined XPath ]
in [ body ] with [ $response ]
Use $BEA_HOME/modules/javax.mail_1.4.jar for compiling.
Let me know if this solves your problem.
Thanks

[SOLVED]Call to undefined function mysql_connect()
Hi. Up until this point I have had mysql, php, and apache up and running just fine. Recently I made a little change. I configured Apache to read my .php pages from /home/user/code/php instead of /srv/http. It wasn't working originally so I created a new http user using this command:
useradd -d /srv/http -r -s /bin/false -U http
And replaced /srv/http with the directory of my choice. Almost everything went fine. I was able to see all my .php files. The problem was with one file. This is the code for it:
<?php
mysql_connect("localhost", "root", "mypass") or die(mysql_error());
echo "Connected to MySQL<br />";
?>
Originally it displayed everything fine but once I made the switch it displayed this error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect() in /home/'user'/code/php/connect.php on line 2
I tried to login to phpMyAdmin as well and this error is displayed:
The mysqli extension is missing. Please check your PHP configuration. <a href="Documentation.html#faqmysql" target="documentation"><img src="themes/dot.gif" title="Documentation" alt="Documentation" class="icon ic_b_help" /></a>
Not sure if it matters but I have made the switch to a systemd only installation and have run systemctl enable httpd.service, systemctl enable mysqld.service, systemctl start httpd.service, and systemctl start mysql.service countless times just to be sure. I have also made sure that
extension=mysqli.so
extension=mysql.so
Are both uncommented in /etc/php/php.ini

How Can I call a UCM service from SOAP request
Hi,
I have created one custom service and I would like to call that service from 3rd Party system via SOAP call. The 3rd Party system does not have the capability to call through RIDC.
Now I have exposed my service and tried to call but authentication exception was coming status code 401.
So I created one sample ADF application and tried to call the DocInfo service for testing (I thought let's try DocInfo then I will check my custom service). I downloaded the DocInfo service from UCM and uploaded the WSDL into the project and got the client DocInfoSoapClient.java file.
public class DocInfoSoapClient
@WebServiceRef
private static DocInfo docInfo;
public static void main(String [] args)
docInfo = new DocInfo();
DocInfoSoap docInfoSoap = docInfo.getDocInfoSoap();
DocInfoByNameResult res = docInfoSoap.docInfoByName("TEST_001603", null);
System.out.println(res.getContentInfo());
// Add your code to call the desired methods.
The error is coming like:
Exception in thread "main" com.sun.xml.ws.client.ClientTransportAccessException: The server sent HTTP status code 401: Unauthorized: http://xxxxxxxx:16200/_dav/cs/idcplg
at com.sun.xml.ws.transport.http.client.HttpTransportPipe.getClientTransportException(HttpTransportPipe.java:340)
I tried a lot but same error. There should be some process by which I can send the userid and password but failed. Even I tried to send the properties as key value pair in IdcPropertyList but I know that is wrong.
I checked the Issue: https://community.oracle.com/thread/2424460
But there was no answer.
Can anyone help on it?
Regards,
SantanuHi Santanu,
You need to write SoapHandler in order to pass username and pwd. You will need 2 classes namely HeaderHandlerResolver & SoapHandler. This is how i do in in my JAX-WS clients. I generate stubs and then attach handler to webserviceinterface
PFA HeaderHandlerResolver.java and SoapHandler.java you would attach soap handler something like this in your code i have never done this via ADF so not sure.
HeaderHandlerResolver soapHandlerResolver = new HeaderHandlerResolver();
docInfo.setHandlerResolver(soapHandlerResolver);
In SoapHandler class you will mention username and pwd like this
soapMessageContext.put(BindingProvider.USERNAME_PROPERTY,"username");
soapMessageContext.put(BindingProvider.PASSWORD_PROPERTY,"pwd");

Error while calling a bpel service from OSB

Edited by: Ayush fujitsu on Apr 6, 2010 3:36 AMHi i have followed the following steps which is specified in this thread
You need to follow below steps...
add a java parameter to the OSB server. Go to domains\osb_domain\bin folder and edit the setDomainEnv file and add this line to this file. set JAVA_PROPERTIES=-Dplatform.home=%WL_HOME% -Dwls.home=%WLS_HOME% -Dweblogic.home=%WLS_HOME% -Dcom.sun.xml.namespace.QName.useCompatibleSerialVersionUID=1.0
Step 2 is to replace the bpel jars in the bpel transport ear. Go folder osb_10.3\lib\transports and open bpel10gtransport.ear and replace the following jar files orabpel.jar, orabpel-common.jar , xmlparserv2.jar and oc4jclient.jar with the ones you can find in the soa suite 10.1.3 home.
But still i am getting the error.
I am using WLS (10.0).Is it compatible with bpel-10g protocol, because i have already called a sync BPEL process with http protocol and it worked?This thread talks about WLS(9.2)

Does any one have insights about it?Hi Swapna,
from your screenshot it seems that you actually try to call the service in your Data Source Expression field. You should set path to the WSDL file here actually - this could be either URL to SAP or to filesystem, as Anton suggested (this could be faster). Have you created endpoint binding for your service in transaction SOAMANAGER? If yes, then simply download the corresponding WSDL with binding or copy the URL which leads to it. But also test whether you are able to retrieve the WSDL without logging into SAP (close all browser windows and then open a new one otherwise session ID from other browser windows can be reused).
If you have to give username and password, then setup anonymous alias in transaction SICF, for example.
Pleas, check my previous post on the same subject here: Re: BCM7 IVR : SOAP request for client identification in CRM .
Maybe it could help.

Calling secured web service from Pl SQL
Hi
I am trying to call a secured web service from pl/sql using utl_http.
Is there a sample pl/sql program that i can refer to call a secured web service.
sample soap header that am trying to acheive.
<soap:Header>
<wsa:Action>http://myactaction</wsa:Action>
<wsa:MessageID>uuid:asdfadrewrwqr</wsa:MessageID>
<wsa:ReplyTo>
<wsa:Address>http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2004/03/addressing/role/anonymous</wsa:Address>
</wsa:ReplyTo>
<wsa:To>http://myact</wsa:To>

</wsse:UsernameToken>
</wsse:Security>
</soap:Header>
Thanks a ton in advanceHi,
On way we can call a web service is to pass the Web Service URL to UTL_HTTP package:
Sample Web Service URL
===================
lv_url :=
'http://67.97.189.151:8888/plsqlsample/dbfunc?invoke=placeOrder'
|| '&'
|| 'param0=1'
|| '&'
|| 'param1=1'
|| '&'
|| 'param2=1';
Sample Call using UTL_HTTP
=====================
SELECT UTL_HTTP.request (lv_url)
INTO lv_result
FROM DUAL;
Thank you.

Error while calling a web service in web dynpro through XI
Hello,
I was following a blog for Invoking Webservices using SAP XI
/people/siva.maranani/blog/2005/09/03/invoke-webservices-using-sapxi
I have done all the steps specified but when I import the wsdl file in web dynpro application and deploy the project I get the following error:
<b>"Exception on execution of web service with WSDL URL 'bankws_OUT_MI.wsdl' with operation 'bankws_OUT_MI' in interface 'bankws_OUT_MI'"</b>
where:
bankws_OUT_MI -
is the message interface name.
I have defined a web service in the integration reopsitory as follows:
<b>http://PEP:50000/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=:bankws:s_comm</b>
where
bankws --- service name
s_comm -
sender communication channel
selected 'bankws_OUT_MI' message interface from the given choices
'bankws_IN_MI' or 'bankws_OUT_MI'.
interface name: bankws_OUT_MI -
mesage interface name
Can anyone guide me how to proceed further. Also if possible can anyone send me some helpful documentation regarding how to call a web service in web dynpro through XI.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Imtoolhello everyone,
I made the whole scenario again and it is running succusfully in Xml spy. Now when i call the webservice in web dynpro... I get the following error:

I have also made the entry in the visual administrator for metadata_dest and execution_dest.
Does anybody have an idea what mistake i am doing.

QName error while calling a web service from Sourcing
I need to call a web service from Sourcing script. The web service team has provided us the WSDL and I have generated the required stubs using wsimport and packaged the required java classes in a custom JAR. Now while calling a web method using this jar from my script, I am getting and exception. The exception message that I printed out was this:
Caught exception e with msg Connection IO Exception. Check nested exception for details. (Connection
IO Exception. Check nested exception for details. (Connection Exception; nested exception is:
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: cannot create QName from "null" or "" String).)
The same jar and same code works fine when called from a standalone java program.
I am not using or creating QName anywhere in my script. The only place where QName is used is in the generated java class and there it is created from the correct namespace URL
Can anyone please help me out in figuring out what is the issue?This is the stack trace of the error:

Calling a web service through SSL via a stand alone java class
HI,
I am trying to call a web service through SSL via a simple stand alone java client.
I have imported the SSL certificate in my keystore by using the keytool -import command.
Basically I want to add a user to a group on the server. Say I add a user user 1 to group group 1 using an admin userid and password. All these values are set in an xml file which I send to the server while calling the server. I pass the web service URL, the soap action name and the xml to post as the command line arguments to the java client.
My xml file(Add.xml) that is posted looks like :
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<SOAP-ENV:Envelope
xmlns:xsi = "http://www.w3.org/1999/XMLSchema-instance"
xmlns:SOAP-ENC = "http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/"
xmlns:SOAP-ENV = "http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
xmlns:xsd = "http://www.w3.org/1999/XMLSchema"
SOAP-ENV:encodingStyle = "http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/">
<SOAP-ENV:Body>
<namesp1:modifyGroupOperation xmlns:namesp1 = "/services/modifyGroup/modifyGroupOp">
<auth>
<user>adminUser</user>
<password>adminPassword</password>
</auth>
<operationType>ADD</operationType>
<groupName>group1</groupName>
<users>
<userName>user1</userName>
</users>
</namesp1:modifyGroupOperation>
</SOAP-ENV:Body>
</SOAP-ENV:Envelope>
I call the client as:
java PostXML https://com.webservice.com/services/modifyGroup "/services/modifyGroup/modifyGroupOp" Add.xml
I my client, I have set the following:
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStore", "C:\\Program Files\\Java\\jre1.5.0_12\\lib\\security\\cacerts");
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStorePassword", "password");
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStore", "C:\\Program Files\\Java\\jre1.5.0_12\\lib\\security\\cacerts");
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStorePassword", "password");
But when I try to execute the java client, I get the following error:
