Call waiting option isn't working

Im using i6 phone and currently my call waiting option isn't working. I want to know how can I Enable it?

If your carrier supports call waiting, you can turn it on by going to Settings > Phone > Call Waiting. If the setting is not available, contact your carrier. See this article for reference -

I've gone through your message completely, if you do not have the Call Waiting option under Settings > iPhone it means your carrier does not let you access that feature on the phone. Contact them and see if they have dialing codes to turn it off and back on.

TA38607 My iphone4s does not have the call waiting option in settings. What's going on.

My call waiting feature was working then suddenly disappeared. In settings>phone there is not listing to set the call waiting feature. This is an iPhone 4s on Sprint network. Anyone know what is going on here?

Give Sprint a call and see what they say, it is a carrier feature.

Bulk Project Site option isn't working in project server 2010 migrated from PS 2007.

I am doing a test migration from epm 2007 to epm 2013.
So first, i need to migrate the project server 2007 to project server 2010. i have 2 separate environments for EPM 2007 and EPM 2010).
there is no problem in migration process and i successfully migrate entire PWA 2007 to 2010, except Workspaces (Project sites).
Bulk project site option is not helping. I have tried 4-5 times with different PWA 2007 databases (PWA1, PWA2...) but this option did not work. and errors in queue are WSSWebDoesNotExist(16405) and GeneralQueueJobFailed(26000).
Then next time while migrating all over again i kept the same port and same PWA name then bulk project site option worked.
Question is, Do i need to keep the same PWA name and same port for the new upgraded PWA??, one more issue regarding this is that if don't keep the same PWA name and i open the project site and click on the "Project web app" back link, it
redirects me to old PWA site which doesn't exist and give me page not found error (Obviously).
Below, you can see the both scenarios.
my previous PWA 2007 site, say - http://epm2007:2222/PWA
When - migrated PWA 2010 site, say - http://epm2010:3000/NewPWA (Bulk project site update just doesn't work)
When - migrated PWA 2010 site, say - http://epm2010:2222/PWA (Bulk project site update worked)
Whats the solution of this problem. is there any utility or query to link all project sites correctly?
Will i face the same problem while migrating PS 2010 to PS 2013??

Hi,
I would say it is easier to keep the same PWA name between 2007 and 2010 (no need to have the same port).
If you want to move to a new PWA URL maybe you can use stsadm backup/restore as detailed in this article?

When I right click on a word and click "search google for..." I get "404 - that's an error" Is this a bug that will be fixed or something that I can tweak to fix now?

Depends how the site is doing it. Preventing right-clicks can be done with javascript so turning javascript off (Tools > Options > Content) may stop it. But it may prevent the whole site working too.
There's no general answer - it depends on the individual site.
Have you tried googling? Others may have found a workround.

Calling US Landlines Isn't Working

Hi, I'm an American living in Japan and have been using Skype to call home for three years.Today, I tried multiple times to call 2 different US numbers that I have called many times before (both in area code 913) from both my iPhone and my Mac.The calls don't connect at all: I hear the tones of the phone number being entered, then a few seconds of silence, then the end of call sound.I tried calling a Japanese friend's cell phone number and that worked fine. I also double checked the phone numbers and the country codes, so that's not the issue.I have $3.54 in Skype credit. I tried searching the board but I'm coming up stumped. :/

Have the same problem, and Mainstage works with MIDI instruments directly connected via USB.

FTP Option isn't working RH9

We noticed that the files appear to go through, when we published to an FTP site. The GUI shows progress, and but when we later checked the server, the files were not there. As a test we deleted all files and directories off the server and started again. After it looked completed no files were on the server. We had to publish to the server using a batch file. Is this a bug? We selected Republish All on the Publish settings.

When I publish the RoboHelp Tour on my site from RoboHelp I enter the path in the Server Directory field as
/grainge.org/foldername/foldername/foldername/rh_tour
RoboHelp adds the prefix ftp:// in the same way you used to have to prefix web addresses with http://
Note though that the URL string displays as ftp://grainge.org/foldername/foldername/foldername/rh_tour rather than having three forward slashes as you would get if you simply concatenated those strings. If I don't enter the slash in the Server Directory field, it doesn't work. Don't ask me to explain, I am telling you what works.
When I use Dreamweaver I only have to enter grainge.org/foldername/, no slash at the start.
MAUREEN I very much doubt you really were talking to the Head Engineer no matter what you were told. I have met him and suspect he knew about root directories before he started school.

My Step Backward Option Isn't Working!

Whenever I want to use the feature "Step Backward" (it's defaulted to Alt+Ctrl+Z), the function never works. I have to manually go into Edit > Step Backward for the action to work.
It's been like this for a couple months now and I've tried some possible solutions but they haven't worked.

Well there is on my iPhone and all since the 3.. But your carrier might not have that available..

Call waiting not working in Nokia 3120 classic

In my Nokia 3120 classic mobile, the call waiting option is not working. If a new call comes while you're on a call, it shows the new call. But if I try to answer it, it shows some error.

Call waiting is actually a network service. Your phone only facilitates this service by transmitting a command to the network when you change certain settings.
You should start debugging this problem by contacting your network to make sure there isn't a problem with the service.

Why doesn't my call waiting feature work AT ALL?

My call waiting feature does not work at all. I receive absolutely no alert when I am on the phone and have a second incoming call. My phone goes straight to voicemail for the person who is attempting to call me while I'm on the phone.

Problem with call waiting in E90

hi,
I am facing problem activating 2nd call using call waiting feature. When second call is coming, i press the call button (green) and nothing seems to happen.. Rather, after that none of the keys seem to work until the other person hangsup or I hang up. I tried this from outside and inside of the phone. I even tried 'answer call' from options, it didnt work. Is it a software problem/ bug or something wrong with my peice. I shouldnt be doing the proceaa wrong because its a pretty simple thing and I have been using this feature on other simpler phones (including old communicator 9500) for donkeys years.

I never had this problem with my E90 since the day I got it (about one month ago), and I have calls waiting every day. I did not had any problems even with 3 call. So I guess it't not a software bug, just a problem with your particular piece. If you can repeat it, you should show it at the service center and ask for a repair / replacement. Good luck.

Call waiting notifications on Nokia 5800!!!!

I have a small problem.
When I call somebody from my nokia 5800 and that person is talking to smb., so my call is on waiting, i don't hear anything and i don't even see it on my screen. So i don't know if that person is not answering or is on a call.
The same happens when samb calls me and i'm on a call. I receive on the screen a waiting call, but only if i look at it. I don't hear no beeps or any sound that could announce me that i am receiving a call while i'm in a disscusion.
The call waiting option is activated.
How do I solve the problem with the sound notification?

VM message waiting counter doesn't work on Palm Pre Plus

My voice mail message waiting counter isn't working on my Palm Pre Plus. At first, it showed messages waiting when there weren't any. I Reset Voicemail Count, and ever since then, it doesn't show any messages waiting when there are messages. i have also tried a hard reset, to no avail.
Any help is much appreciated.

Try to reset the voicemail count by going to:
1.Phone App
2.Menu
3.Preferences
4.Scroll to bottom of page and tap 'Reset Voicemail Count'.
