Caller ID block

how can I delete the caller ID when text messaging with Samsung SIII?

    Hi rprofitt!
I can help you with Caller ID, I just need to know exactly what you are looking to do. Would you:
1)Like to remove your number from appearing when sending a message?
2)Like to remove the Caller ID information from coming in when receiving a message?
Please provide some additional details, so we can find a resolution for you.
Thanks,

  • How to find icon position of currently executed VI on caller's block diagram

    Dear forum,
I currently try to use a LabVIEV VI as a simple sequencer: Several (very slow) actions have to execute one after another. Each action is represented by a Sub-VI, some actions are executed several times. My task is to visualize the currently executed Sub-VI somehow.
My first intention (simply manipulate the icon of the currently running VI with "VI Icon.Get as Image Data" / "VI Icon.Set from Image Data" invoke nodes) failed, because this changes the icon of ALL instances of this VI; if you use the same VI several times, the icons of all these VI are changed (see here: http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/How-to-change-animate-icon-of-currently-running-VI/m-p/3120754/highl...
My current approach is to use an image of the block diagram (with "VI: Block Diagram: Get Image Scaled" invoke method) within a picture control of the front panel and to work within this control. But for this I need to know the position of the icon of the currently executed VI. I know that I can evaluate Bounds and Position via the GObj properties, but how do I find the currently running VI (note that a VI may reside several times on the block diagram, so the name of the VI is not unique)? IMHO the simpliest way would be if a VI could find its icon on the caller's block diagram itself when executed...
It's clear that this position is not the position on the picture yet, but this conversion is a small piece of work...

Sure if you don't mind having functional checks taking hours instead of minutes...okay maybe that is exagerating for a simple VI like this, but it would increase cycle time.  Honestly I think the best solution would be to use the helper VI that was mentiond before, which keeps track of what VI is running.  You can of course use scripting to get the block diagram image, but there isn't a good way to know what exact VI is running using VI server.  Here are a few discussions.

  • PAP2T: Incoming calls being blocked by Router.

    Hi,
I am trying to use an unlocked PAP2T Adapter with Telus home network in Canada and am not able to receive calls. I can make outgoing calls to any number in the world, but whenever I get a call back, the phone doesn't ring & later I find it in Firewall log as being blocked under "Low Risk Attack". While trying to find a resolution with the VOIP provider I had at times picked up the phone randomly & found the caller on the line. So apparently the calls have no prblem reaching my PAP2T Adapater, it is just that (1) there is no ring when they do & (2) the incoming calls get blocked by Firewall & dropped.
I have tried port forwarding (UDP & TCP) as well DMZ mode for the Adapter, no luck. Later i tried disabling almost all of the internet provider's 2wire modem/router firewall features (UDP ports scan, packets , etc.) still didnt work. I have run out of ideas & hoping that someone can help me find a way out of this problem ? Appreciate your help & time. Thanks.

I changed to the following settings that did the trick for making the phone ring,
    Click Regional on the top:
Under Ring and Call Waiting Tone Spec
    Change Ring Waveform to Sinusoid
    Change Ring Voltage: 90
    Change Ring Frequency: 20
However, when I pick up the ringing phone, there is no voice going through the line. Also, as per my VOIP provider instructions, when I dial a local number followed by # sing & hang up in 5 seconds, I don't get any callback either. I have even updated the PAP2T to the latest firmware 5.1.6. Any thing else I can change to get the voice across & get the call back ? thanks for your help again.

  • Calling ALV Block List twice

    Hi all,
I am calling ALV block list twice. In I block list user selects any record and then clicks on a button and then control goes to II block list. My problem is that when i come back from II to I list, and select any new record, the selected values in internal table passed in I list are not reflected in that table.
I think this problem is because we are displaying different tables in these 2 lists. When we go to II list, the ALV block list is gettting reinitialized and on coming back, the above problem occurs.
If you have any inputs, please let me know.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Ridhima.

my iphone wont recieve calls and i checked and its not in airplne mode and do not disturb is off and people have told me that its like ive declined there calls or blocked them and i checked and have not blocked anyone please help

You ARE roaming.  You turned off your data, but you are still roaming when making calls, and texting.  If you blocked all roaming then you wouldn't be able to make calls/text or receive calls/text.

  • Caller-ID Block on CME

    Hi All,
Is there a way to block caller-id on ephone-dn level for external calls and keep it for internal calls (i.e. dialing other extensions on the same site) as the caller-id block command hide it for all calls (external & internal).
Please note that I want to apply that for specific ephone-dns' only not the whole phones. I'm running CME10/IOS 15.4(2)T on a 2921.
    Thanks very much in advance.

This option isn't available to me on my iPhone 5 on sprint network. It was available on previous iPhone

  • Call/text  blocking

does anyone know what Verizon message is seen by the owner of a number who has attempted calling and /or texting but have been placed on call/text block.  And is there a way find out if these blocked numbers have attempted to contact you

        Hi aboutyou,
Unwanted calls can be very frustating! There is not a way to see if a blocked number has tried to call or message you. If the blocked number is a VZW customer, they will see a red X in the sent folder with status failed notification. Followed by "Delivery failed. Invalid destination or service blocked at destination". They will also receives a text message alert - "You cannot send messages to destinations that are blocked by the account owner."   If a block non VZW customers attempts to send you a message, they will see  a green check mark with a "Message Sent" notification but message not delivered to your line.
Addtionally if a block VZW or non VZW number attempts to call you:  Call does not go through. The blocked line hears an audio alert " The number that you have dialed has calling restrictions that have prevented the completion of this call. I am confident this information is helpful. Please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns.
    Thanks,

  • I keep getting calls, so I added that number to my list of calls to block.  It doesn't ring anymore, but I keep getting notification messages that say "Call back".  Why do I receive this when the call should be blocked?

Okay, you are correct the call is not supposed to ring in. Have you done any troubleshooting on the phone? First off, try power cycling the phone. Turn the phone off, then back on again. If that does not work, then try a reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will reboot. See if that changes things. Is the caller using the exact number that you blocked, or is it possible they are using another number, or have restricted the Caller ID?

  • Getting calls from blocked numbers

I have been receiving phone calls from a blocked number, is there any way to find out who it is? I know when someone blocks there number on a landline you can *69 and call the number back can you do that with a cell phone?

Hey there, barkar! Although it's been a while, I recall a period of time when I would get calls from blocked numbers. It can be very upsetting! I wish I could say that there's a way to see beyond those blocks, but the very purpose of the blocks is to protect the caller's privacy (even if that protection may come at the expense of the peace of mind of those being called). The best advice I can offer is to just not answer calls from individuals you either don't recognize or don't expect. Let them roll to voicemail. Must legitimate calls will leave you a message with their intentions stated.
And, if they become too much to handle, you do have the option to change your mobile number free of charge through My Verizon. Good luck to you!

  • Caller ID blocking MY NAME on all calls I make

I have an account, TV, Internet, Voice.   I want to know how much it would cost me (added on to my bill every month,to have my Name (caller ID) blocked on all calls.

Probably not the cause but if there are two identical contacts listed in the phone it could be that causing it. The same thing happened to me when I sync'd between PC suite and phone. I had some settings wrong and it doubled some contacts up.
Is that an N95 in your pocket or are you just pleased to see me?!?
Life's too important to take seriously.
    Nokias I've owned 3210, 3310, 6100, 7650, 6600, 6680, 6630, N80, N95

  • Landline Call Privacy Blocking Skype

I don't know if this is a problem unique to Canada but I have found that and increasing number of landlines have call privacy  enabled(with many not even being aware of this service).  Call privacy blocks calls from without a phone ID.  I have linked my skype account to my mobile phone number but that does not appear to be working.
Skpye callers can circumvent this by entering a number or hitting # but all of this seems clumsy.  Has anyone found an more elegant way (without resorting to purchasing a Skype number) to work around this "feature".
    Thanks in advance

When receiving call, BLOCKED appears on the screen. Does this mean the caller has blocked their details from appearing?
