Calling a phone number through midlet

Hi all,
Is it possible to call a phone number through midlet programming(Nokia 6600 Emulator).
In my program I'm fetching the phone number from database into a text
box.Now I want to call that fetched number.Is it possible.If yes then plz tell me the way.

They already have your number and/or email address and maybe have sold it several times already to others as well. They also use number generators - software that will automatically create them - some work and some don't, they don't care, they send out millions and a few will fall for it and send them money. The only way to "hide" would be to change both and your password, but then it would happen again at some point.

Calling a phone number from Reminders

Why can I NOT call a phone number from Reminders or any other Task software I have downloaded? With my old Blackberry, the number would be in blue and all I had to do was tap the number to make the phone call.

Lenovo A6000 displaying all contats as unknown(Not even displaying Caller's Phone Number in details)

Hi guys,
I recently bought a lenovo A6000 smartphone. Whenever i receive a call it is not showing any Caller ID details(not even Caller's Phone number). It is showing as Unknown caller and in details there is no information regarding phone number.
Can somebody please help me in fixing this issue.

It looks to me that itsTalkTalk you should be annoyed with, someone moving into an adjacent flat, so the address will be very similar, calls whoever they want to use, you seem to think it's BT but don't say why you think it's BT, and says they want service, the customer service rep incorrectly identifies your mothers flat and says there is already a line in the flat, do you want to take it over, they obviously said yes, this is what generated the letter from TT, and when you called them they should have rejected the takeover and the whole job would have been cancelled, this obviously didn't happen. The line in the exchange is swapped over, that's why for a short period your mother had another number on the line, confirmed by the fact you got a call from another number , called it back and your mother answered, and she got a call on that number from someone calling their own mother, but yours answered... The person from the other flat reports a fault, line not working, it never could work as the order was a takeover not a provide, Openreach send an engineer who moves the physical cable pair from your mothers flat to the other persons flat to give them service, because they have a valid account and your mother no longer has. TT should have followed your instruction when you said you hadn't asked for the line to be taken over, and presumably the new 'neighbour' should have taken more care when calling their provider with the address, and shouldn't have said yes to taking over an existing line when they couldn't have been sure there was a line in their flat. Its not much help, but these things happen in multi occupancy residences, especially when someone doesn't know if a line exists where they are moving to, and who the service provider with that line is. Even if you are correct and the new neighbour with your mothers 'line' is with BT, they are unlikely to be able to do anything for a TT customer, it's up to TT to sort this out for you and your mother.

Why is No ID appearing instead of caller's phone number, even when they are saved as a contact?

I have the LG Cosmos 3. When someone calls me the phone says "No ID" instead of showing me their name and phone number. This even happens when that person is one of my contacts saved in the phone. I have caller ID included on my prepaid plan. Is there a setting in the phone that needs to be changed? Any ideas would be appreciated!

How do I change my incoming calls to view caller's phone number instead of name? This is for numbers not stored in my contacts (i.e. Unknown)

How do I change my incoming call view to see the "phone number" instead of seeing "Unknown" for contacts who are not stored in my phone? Whenever a call comes in it says unknow instead on the phone number that is calling.

You need to set up the accounts in System Preferences/Accounts, then activate Fast User Switching.
That way you can quickly log in to your own account - then back to his.
You should obviously have different passwords.

I schedule hourly appointments with clients and type the name and phone number for each client directly on the schedule. Does anybody know of an app that would allow me to simply tap on that phone number from ical to call the client? Otherwise, i have to look at ical on my phone, remember the number, click to phone and enter it in manually. Thanks!

There no app for that, no. But, if you enter the number into the Notes field of the appointment (but not the name or location fields), you can tap the number to dial it from the Calendar app.

New to skype-cannot call a phone number from compu...

I have a skype account, I charged it with 12$
I tried to call a land line phone and a mobile phone
the program give me the sound it give when it starts to dial a number
but no after that no dial toon is heard
finally a massage appears saying no answer
at first I thought the other part is not answering
but when I tried to call my own mobile number it did the same

Another possibility is the phone. Some years ago I experienced a similar problem and after much back and forth with the phone company, the fault turned out to be my telephone.

Option to call one phone number when iPhone is locked and password protected

Dear Sir or Madam,
I have an idea which should be added to your iOS for iPhones. I think that many users would appreciate that and it could help to return a lot of lost iPhones to their owners. Even though I think that it could be used by emergency to contact the relatives in case something happen to the owner. The idea is to allow owner to define one or two numbers which could be called from the iPhone when it is locked and protected by password. Same option as it is for emergency nowadays.
Please try to consider it.

Correct. When you did that, you voided all warranty/support, & forfeited the right to an out of warranty replacement.
There was nothing wrong with the screen I bought,
And, exactly, how do you know that? Since Apple DOES NOT sell iPhone parts, there is no official source for genuine parts. Thus, many on the market are counterfeit & produce nothing but problems.

I just got my new Passport out of it's box. I am having an issue that is not addressed in the forum. in the box, it says I get 30 days complimentary direct support from Blackberry. I therefore called the phone number given in the box (uk) ************. I got through, and was given the choice of either 1 or 9. Neither entry was reconized and the answer service kept repeating my options. I have tried dialing a few times.
How can I get get hold of a human to help with my issue?
