Calling a smartform by RFC

Hi, we have developed a smartform in one system and we want to call to these smartform from another system by RFC, Anybody knows if is possible?
We have tried to copy the function module that smartform create and change the attribute in order will be remote function module but the attributes are reference parameters and say that is not possible.

Hi, I have solved my problem.
My scenario:
We want create a smartform with color lines and color shadow box.
SYSTEM1 46C-> Not possible have color lines and color shadow box.
SYSTEM2 4.7-> More easy develope smart form and is possible have colors.
SOLUTION: 1.Have smartform in SYSTEM2.
2. Call the smartform from system1 to system2.
The key is do a rfm that call to the function module of the smart form.

Call SmartForm in RFC

We have a RFC calling a smartform and passing parameters to it. But I just cannot get the right results. It looks like an auth issue to me because the program works well using some account (say, UserA) but not well using other accounts(UserB). However, Basis did an auth trace and didn't find anything wrong.
I tried to run this RFC via se37. One interesting fact is that it doesn't pop up a screen (smartform) for input using USserA but it does using UserB. I canceled the screen and then got the wrong results.
I hope I can find luck here. Please kindly let me know your solution if you had the same issue before. Many thanks to you!

Hi,
I hope yes you can write the RFC fm code inside the layout of the smartforms, but the problem is if RFC could not able to fetch the data from R/3 some times, or if it could not able to find the right records then it will return with error / blank records. To avoid all this kind of problems its better to write the same code in your driver program. In case if you dont get the data from R/3 then you can control the layout set from triggering.

Can we call multiple Smartforms from single Driver Prog?

Hi all,
Can we call multiple smartforms from single Driver Program. Here Driver program is custom Program.
I want to give Print Parameter only once and output should get printed one after the another smartform in same order of smarforms were called.
If yes, then how?

Yes, you can do this in your Smartform driver program.
Each time you call you Smartform function module you will need to change the values in structure OUTPUT_OPTIONS slightly.
On the first call set TDNEWID to X.
After this, set it to space
On the last form set TDFINAL to X.
This will put all of the output into one spool request, in the order they are called in the program.

Calling two smartforms in one Abap program

Hi ABAPers,
Can anybody know how to call 2 smartforms in 1 abap program?actually i used the FM SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME...and two smart forms are called...but my main problem is...the first smartforms is called and the print dialog box appeared...once i click the button back ...the second smartforms is called and print dialog box appeared again..
I want to correct this...i want this to be happen once i click the print button...the two smart forms will be combined in a one printing...meaning the first page is the first smartforms and the next page will be the second smart forms...no matter how many pages will be the first smartforms...the second smartforms will concatenate or will append to the last page of the first smartforms..how can i do this?

Calling the smartform based on checkbox selection in ALV

i displayed the report output in ALV using 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY'. I maintained checkboxes as first column of data.
and i also added three user defined buttons like check,uncheck,print form. Now my problem is when user selecting the records in ALV using the checkbox,i have to call the smartform based up on user selection of check box.i done but it is coming only for one checkbox.if we select multiple checkboxes it is not coming.but i need smartform has to call for every checkbox user has selected.

according to you code,
READ TABLE I_DATA INTO WA_DATA INDEX FU_SELFIELD-TABINDEX.
the fu_selfield-tabindex contains only one number , so its trigger only one check box, it is not correct to loop i_data .
take the records which are checked and loop that internal table , using check_changed_data u can select multiple records which are checked.
one importent thing , use sy-subrc after read statement bcz see example
in second loop if the read statement has failed but the work area contains the data , so beware check sy-subrc= 0 . after read.
debug your program and check every time FU_SELFIELD-TABINDEX will be same . so reads same record so many time how many times the loop had.
instead do like this
loop at i_data into wa_data where check = 'x'.
MOVE-CORRESPONDING WA_DATA TO WA_PRINT.

   I have a requirement wherein I need to call two smartforms using a single print program.
   The interface parameters are different in two smartforms.
   I presently solved the issue using the smartform names as the reference.
   Can anyone let me know if there is any other way to solve it.
   I heard something about global params. But not sure.

Calling a Smartform and attaching it to an email

Hi,
I have two programs. Program 1 is an ABAP program which creates a PDF from the output using SUBMIT TO SAP-SPOOL then CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_TO_PDF. It then attaches the PDF to an email and sends the mail. Program 2 produces a Smartform. When sending the email from program 1 I would like to call program 2 and automatically attach the smartform to my email before sending it.
I have tried using SUBMIT_TO_SAP-SPOOL but this fails because there is no spool output - even when I print the smartform.
I think I may be able to do it by using SUBMIT and EXPORT LIST TO MEMORY, bringing back the list using LIST_FROM_MEMORY and maybe using the returned list to create the smartform internally in program 1.
I haven't yet tried this because it seems a long winded way of going about things and I thought I would ask and see if anyone had achieved this in a less contrived way. Any suggestions?

Just to flesh it out a bit for future reference.
Use SUBMIT TO SAP-SPOOL WITHOUT SPOOL DYNPRO AND RETURN.
In the called program, when calling the smartform fm, set control_parameters-getotf = 'X'. This returns the otf data to job_output_info-otfdata. Export this to memory.
Back in the calling program. Import the otfdata from memory. Use function 'CONVERT_OTF' or CONVERT_OTF_2_PDF to convert teh smartform otf to PDF format.
Attach the PDF to email in the ususal way.

We have a Connector deployed on the WebAS 6.40. From an EJB (Webservice) it is possible to lookup the connector, but if i try to lookup the connector from a custom LoginModule, i get the following error:
