  • How to call a CRM transaction from WDA  component

    I have requirement where i need to open the CRM transaction CRMD_BUS2000126 from WDA with the object id selected in the context. To be more specific all i need to do is to open the activity screen of a particular give activity number from a WDA component.
    I have checked out the previous threads there is a solution how to fire a transaction from WDA, but i need to send a parameter to this transaction to open that particular activity number screen.
    please advice asap.
    Thanks,
    Shyam

    Karthikeyan,
    Please make sure that flag attribute is under some node, say NODEA. NOW please select the interface node property and input element  of NODEA.
    now NODEA will be available in interface controller. Interface controller acts like a global  controller between two different components.
    So from interface controller you can take that flag value.
    pls reply back if you have any confusion.

  • Call report or transaction from PA20/PA30

    Hello,
    what is the best way to call a report or a transaction out of PA20 or PA30? Our idea is to enhance the menu but we don't want to do this via a modification. Exit or BADI would be much more elegant. So the scenario is:
    open PA20 or PA30 and select an employee, select a function from the menu or click a button to call a program (including transfer of persnr will be great).
    Any ideas? Thanx for your feedback

    You can SUBMIT a(ny) Report via the methods available in the BAdI HRPAD00INFTY.

  • Service to call a SAP Transaction from cProjects

    Hi,
       After accounting Integartion, I wanted to call some transaction already in "Service for an SAP Transaction" node.
    There I need to define the Parameters and Services to make it available thru Portal.
    But seems I'm not able to provide the exact Parameters for the service.
    Also, When I enter the Parameters for the WEB server of an SAP Transaction, for Alias WEB Server, its throwing an error to check entry in OLR3_URL_SRV.
    Many Thanks,
    Jyoti Shankar

    Hi Vivek,
                 I've checked the URL. The SAP Transactions can be called online thru SICF WEBGUI Test. But from Portal, when I'm doing the same, the URL gets changed and system generates the string "scripts/wgate/webgui/!?" in the start URL.
    The reason stated is Web Server Address does not contain the Service "WEBGUI".
    How can I resolve the same ? Please advise.
    Thanks,

  • Calling an SAP transaction from a BSP page

    Hi, I have created some BSP pages that are rendered inside SAPGUI screens using a HTML control object. When looking at a CRM system I came across the Business Partner Cockpit (CRMD_ORDER_BP) which displays activities for a business partner using a BSP implemented by CL_CRM_CCKPT_CFS_SERVICE_HTTP.
    The interesting thing about this BSP, is that you can click on the transaction number in the BSP and it launches the appropriate SAPGUI transaction to display the details of this activity.
    Looking at the HTML source, the link is defined like this: -
    <a href="SAPEVENT:OBJTYPE=BUS2000115&OBJKEY=CDAEBBF5BD903E4390DA7984D3054A65">0920000086</a>
    In the above example this activity is a sales order.
    Can anyone help me understand how this works, and how I can use it to navigate to SAP transactions using links in my BSP pages that are placed in SAPGUI HTML controls?
    Thanks
    Graham

    Hi Graham!
    I have a similar problem in transaction CIC0 and the Sales summary tab in CRM.
    I have created a new class and assigned it to a new fact sheet. One column in this fact sheet should be a hyperlink defined in the way that you have described.
    When using method get_event_parameter I are not getting any data for the SAPEVENT parameters - I don't get the value, only the keys:
    <a href="SAPEVENT:?OBJTYPE&OBJKEY>
    How should I procced to assign an object type and object key to this SAPEVENT???
    Would also be very nice if anyone could explain how to "call transaction" works.
    Help understanding this would be very appreciated.

  • Calling R/3 transactions from Bex

    Hi community
    Let's say I have a row like "PO No, value", I want to display PO order for that particular PO number in R/3 system by just clicking on the row, and more importantly, I don't want to enter any data in PO display screen. How to realize this scenario?

    Hi,
    in this case you can use Report-Report Interface:
    Use
    The report-report interface allows you the flexibility to call a jump target (receiver) online from a BEx query (sender) within or outside of the BI system. Jump targets that have been assigned to a BEx query can be selected in BEx Web applications and in the BEx Analyzer. You access them from the context menu under the Goto function.

  • Calling a Transaction from Selection screen of Z Program...

    Hi,
    I am trying to call a Standard transaction from a report when they clicked one push button on selection screen.
    when i used CALL TRANSACTION 'MM01'. When i press save after entering the values in MM01, it is saving and coming out to selection screen of my Z program.
    But my question is when they press in BACK button in MM01 then only it should come out from MM01 and it should display the my Z Program selection screen. suppose if they press SAVE button on MM01 it should save and screen should be MM01 only.
    when i used LEAVE TO TRANSACTION 'MM01'. it is working fine but when i press BACK button from MM01 it is coming out and showing SAP EASY ACCESS screen. My requirement is when i press back button in MM01 then it must come to my Z program selection screen only.
    I hope it is clear.

    I'm not clear about what happens when you press the BACK button.
    First, LEAVE TO TRANSACTION is no help.  That ends your Z program.  CALL TRANSACTION is your only option.  If it doesn't work as you'd like, you're a bit stuck, as MMnn are standard SAP transactions, and you can't modify that. (well, you can, but that's a whole other tin of worms).
    Perhaps if you told us what you're trying to achieve with the Z program, there might be another approach that will do that.

  • Calling SAP transaction from WebDynpro

    HI,
    Could someone post a link as to how I may call a SAP transaction from a webdynpro.
    Will this be an external call to R/3 or can i get it embedded in my dynpro.......
    Tnks..

    Hi,
    You can call by creating external window method.
    create LINK to URL or LINK TO ACTION according to requirement, for this. write code in onaction of that.
    data: iv_url type string value 'http://<server>:<port>/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?~transaction=*se38 RS38M-PROGRAMM=rsparam;DYNP_OKCODE=SHOP'.
      data: api_component  type ref to if_wd_component,
              window_manager type ref to if_wd_window_manager,
              window type ref to if_wd_window.
      api_component = wd_comp_controller->wd_get_api( ).
      window_manager = api_component->get_window_manager( ).
      window = window_manager->create_external_window(
                     url = iv_url
                     modal = abap_false ).
      window->open( ).
    Cheers,
    Kris.

  • Calling SAP Transaction from WDA

    Hi,
    We have a peculiar requirement of calling SAP Standard Transaction from Web Dynpro ABAP.Well, we tried achieving this using the Transactional iview. On click of appropiate link/button in my applicaiton, I can call the Transactional iview. But the problem is, I could not pass on the data from WDA Application to Transactional iview. I need some inputs in handling such cases.
    The case might look something similar to PCR's final updation(like after all approvals of PCRs, the final Administrator executes the workitem which in turn calls the Notification Maintenance and this in turn calls the PA40 passing the data from Adobe form(XML data) to PA40 txn. Like this, After all my approvals, I would like to call the SAP Transaction passing the data from WDA Application. Hope I am clear.

  • Call SAPGUI transaction from BSP and vice versa

    Hi all
    There was some discussion about this topics before. Maybe someone can just point me to the thread answering this issue:
    1. I need to call a SAPGUI transaction from a BSP application: I want to use SAPGUI, not ITS/webgui, I need single sign on, the SAPGUI transaction could possible run in another SAP system then the BSP.
    As far as I understand I need to create a *.sap file with the correct parameters for sapshortcut. But how does single sign on work? Can I create a logon ticket in my BSP and forward it to sapshortcut?
    2. I need to call a BSP application from a SAPGUI transaction or report, with single sign on but in a MS IE window, not inside a SAPGUI HTML control
    Can I create a logon ticket in my coding an append it to the start url for the BSP?
    any hints?
    thanks
    Michael

    hi Michael,
    For your second issue,to call a BSP application from a SAP GUI in MS IE explorer,
    you can use the Function Module CALL_BROWSER in your report,like
    data url(200) type c.
    url = 'http://<server>.<domain><port>:'.
    concatenate url '/sap/bc/bsp/sap/' into url.
    concatenate url 'znw_poc2_1_prtl/dts.htm' into url.
    concatenate url '?sap-user=<userid>' into url.
    concatenate url '&sap-password=<passowrd>' into url.
    CALL FUNCTION 'CALL_BROWSER'
      EXPORTING
        URL                          = url
    *    WINDOW_NAME                  = ' '
    *    NEW_WINDOW                   = ' '
    *    BROWSER_TYPE                 =
    *    CONTEXTSTRING                =
    *  EXCEPTIONS
    *    FRONTEND_NOT_SUPPORTED       = 1
    *    FRONTEND_ERROR               = 2
    *    PROG_NOT_FOUND               = 3
    *    NO_BATCH                     = 4
    *    UNSPECIFIED_ERROR            = 5
    *    OTHERS                       = 6
    IF SY-SUBRC <> 0.
    * MESSAGE ID SY-MSGID TYPE SY-MSGTY NUMBER SY-MSGNO
    *         WITH SY-MSGV1 SY-MSGV2 SY-MSGV3 SY-MSGV4.
    ENDIF.
    For this to work you have to enable SSO on your server.
    you can check if it is enabled or not by runnning the BSP application "SYSTEM" ,page "SSO2TEST.htm" .
    Follow the instructions on the page for testing.
    This may not be a great way as your userid password are passed via URL,still it works .
    Hope this helps,
    Regards,
    Siddhartha

  • Getting problem to open Web Transaction from Portal

    User is trying to open one link from portal, which is SAP transaction iView.
    This calls one custom transaction from SAP R/3.
    This transaction is Easy Web Transaction and GUI support for it, is SAPGUI FOR HTML.
    Now the problem is, user is not able to open this link from portal. I can open this same link in my login. But this particular user can't.
    Whenever he tries to open this link, gets error message, 'Transaction ZXXXX can not be called in the Easy Access Menu; see long text' and instead of opening the transaction in browser, it opens SAP R/3 GUI.
    I have checked the portal content and found no error.
    Also asked user to login in my system, but got the same error.
    This user is able to access same link from Quality portal, but not from Production portal.,
    eventhough the data in both portals is same.
    What can be the error?
    Please give your expert comments. Thanks in advance.

    Hello Miikkal,
    You need to enable SharePoint class in IE. Please follow this
    blog and follow this
    article.
    Once, this is done you can Enable all the IE settings to load for Intranet and Trusted zone settings
    Put your site in compatibility mode and trusted zone
    Also, make sure that 2 versions of Office suite is not installed on the system.  Eg. Lync 2013 and Office 2010 on one single machine
    What happen when you by pass your TMG server. To do this we need to make host entry for URL directed to APP server IP Address.

    We have separate server for WAS and records fetched from R/3 server.
    Now the requirement is i have to call a standard SAP transaction and the output of the standard transaction should be displayed in the BSP output.

  • Executing custom Transaction from Dialog Task

    Hi all,
          I am calling a custom Transaction from a dialog task  (absolutely, from the method of the task). The user will be executing that workitem from ESS.
    My problem is, while the user executes the workitem it is giving two screen titles in the top as mentioned below. One is the usual ESS header (Work center of ESS12345) and other one is the "Title in of custom program".
    I am not getting why it is giving two titles in the screen. Please advice.
    Versions being used.
    R/3   - ECC5
    ESS - ITS 640

    This is probably because there is no new window opened when the task is started.

  • Error calling transaction from a transaction

    Hi,
    I have created a transaction to batch Measurement Point readings for the PM Module. The batch uses a query to determine the tags required to update and it calls the "MeasurementPointWrite" transaction that I downloaded from SAP. My problem is when I run the batch transaction it reports "TransactionLoadException: Unable to find transaction file specified"

    [DEBUG] [MPWriteCall]: Finished[ <1 ms] Succeeded: false

    For what it's worth, it appears to be a problem at the source.  I have the same problem with the same downloaded file.  Looking at the xml, there is an error in the self-reference of location.  I was unable to figure out how to modify the xml of the export such that a reimport would fix it.  (Export it and look at the xml - do a find on MeasurementPointWrite and you will see what I mean).
    However, try the following:
    Create a new transaction.
    Copy the top sequence and include children of the MeasurementPointWrite transaction (basically you are copying the entire transaction contents).
    Paste it to the empty sequence in your new transaction.
    Save it under some name.
    Create another new transaction.
    Drag and drop your first new transaction into the empty sequence of your second new transaction.
    Now it works...
    Go figure.

    Mike

  • Execute Business Transaction from xMII via XI to SAP R/3

    Hello everyone,
             I have a requirement to post the SAP R/3 transaction from xMII via XI. Does anyone one could give me the steps needs to follow to accomplish this.
    Thanks,
    Mahesh

    Mahesh,
    So as i understand your flow is xMII -> XI -> SAP ECC. So basically in this case u can setup XI to host a web service and xMII can call the web-service and post the data to XI. You will have to get the WSDL for the XI Web Service and then use it in the Web Service action block in xMII to consume. You will also need to setup the soap adapter in XI to receive the web service call from xMII. Once xMII calls the web service, XI can then update the data into SAP ECC either thru Idoc or RFC adapter.
    So once your trigger point in xMII is activated, it should call the BLS which in turn will call the XI Web Service and post the data to XI.
    In case the scenario is the other way round you can also host your BLS as a Web Service in xMII. XI can then call the web service and send the data to xMII. Alternatively you can also use the http post action block in xMII to do the same.
    Let me know if you need anymore info.
    Thanks,
    Kapil.
