Hi,
How are you trying to call the function,could you please share your code.
You neeed not prefix the menthod with "on" while calling using setOnClick()..
Also make sure your function onLinkAction() has the mehtod signature as follows

  • Call Function using DESTINATION

    Hi there!
    Abapers, I'm needing some help here with RFCs.
    My destinations (SM59):
    ERP_100
    ERP_120
    ERP_130
    PI_200
    PI_300
    I have to call a function in PI from ERP. I'm doing in this way:
    CALL FUNCTION 'pi_function_module' DESTINATION 'PI_200' ...
    It's working. But the destination can not be hard coded. With the program in ERP_100 (DEV) and ERP_120 (QAS) the destination is PI_200 (PI DEV) and with the program in ERP_130 (PRD) the destination is PI_300 (PI PRD).
    How can I handle this?
    Thanks in advance!
    Best regards,
    Charles

    Hi Charles,
    Refer [this|Re: Deciding RFC destination dynamically; thread.
    I quote the last post by Micky Oestreich - "This solely depends on the naming conventions you are using. Since the name of the RFC destination is arbitrary, there is 'no' way of determining the name of the destination."
    So, your design approach could either be by building a customizing table where you maintain the destination values or use a 'CASE' statement in your code before calling the remote function module....something like:
    DATA:
      lv_own_system  TYPE logsys,
      lv_rfcdest     TYPE rfcdest.
    CALL FUNCTION 'OWN_LOGICAL_SYSTEM_GET'
      IMPORTING
        own_logical_system             = lv_own_system
      EXCEPTIONS
        own_logical_system_not_defined = 1
        OTHERS                         = 2.
    IF sy-subrc NE 0.
      MESSAGE ID sy-msgid TYPE sy-msgty NUMBER sy-msgno
              WITH sy-msgv1 sy-msgv2 sy-msgv3 sy-msgv4.
    ENDIF.
    CASE lv_own_system.
      WHEN 'ERP_100' or 'ERP_120'.
         lv_rfcdest = 'PI_200'.
      WHEN 'ERP_130'.
        lv_rfcdest = 'PI_300'.
      WHEN OTHERS.
    ENDCASE.
    "Now call the remote function
    CALL FUNCTION 'pi_function_module' DESTINATION lv_rfcdest ...
    Hope this helps,
    Cheers,
    Sougata.

  • Calling function using ADO

    Hi.
    I am trying to execute a function using ADODB.Command object. I am using ODBC driver Oracle73 Ver 2.5.
    When I am executing the command object with CommandText Property set to "pk_test.GET"
    It returns error saying:
    [ORA-06550]
    PLS-00221: 'GET' is not a procedure.
    Statement Ignored.
    Thank you

    Is there actually a procedure 'get' inside a package 'pk_test'?

  • Calling function using user-defined type from query

    I am in a bit over my head on this, at least at 2:30 in the morning after several hours of intense development. I am working on a function to return financial aging figures by aging date range. I created a user type Aging with a Currency type member for
    each of these.
     Public Type Aging
      Aging0 As Currency
      Aging30 As Currency
      Aging60 As Currency
      Aging90 As Currency
      Aging120 As Currency
     End Type
    I then created a function that accepts the account ID & the as-of date. I have all the rest of the code written to actually calculate all of it, but I am having a fundamental problem figuring out how to call the function. To eliminate any of the complex
    mathematical elements for testing, I have reducted the function to a set of simple explicitly-set values below:
    Public Function GetAging(AccountID As Integer, AsOfDate As Date) As Aging
        GetAging.Aging0 = 0
        GetAging.Aging30 = 0
        GetAging.Aging60 = 0
        GetAging.Aging90 = 0
        GetAging.Aging120 = 0
    End Function
    This all works fine from the immediate window, where I can type this:
    ?GetAging(115,#2015-04-05#).Aging0
    and get the expected response of 0 (I have tested with other values for each member, so I know this part is working correctly).
    But can I and/or how do I call this from a query? I should be able, as a test, to pass in each account # and the current date, just to get the Aging0 element out of my function--something like this:
     SELECT
      AccountID,
      CustomerName,
      GetAging([AccountID],Date()).Aging0
     FROM
      Customer
     ORDER BY
      CustomerName
    I get "The expression you entered has an invalid .(dot) or ! operator or invalid parentheses. But if I remove the ".Aging0", I get this error: Undefined function 'GetAging' in expression.
    What am I missing here?

    To expand on the answer of Hans, you could use a AgePoint parameter in the function like this:
    Public Function GetAging(AccountID As Integer, AsOfDate As Date, AgePoint As Integer) As Currency
    ' do calculation
    Select Case AgePoint
    Case 0: GetAging = Aging.Aging0
    Case 30: GetAging = Aging.Aging30
    Case 60: GetAging = Aging.Aging60
    Case 90: GetAging = Aging.Aging90
    Case 120: GetAging = Aging.Aging120End Select
    End Function
    then use it in the query like this:
    SELECT
    AccountID,
    CustomerName,
    GetAging([AccountID],Date(), 0),
    GetAging([AccountID],Date(), 30),
    GetAging([AccountID],Date(), 60),
    GetAging([AccountID],Date(), 90),
    GetAging([AccountID],Date(), 120)
    FROM
    Customer
    ORDER BY
    CustomerName
    However, this has the big drawback that the function will be called 5 times for each and every AccountID, so you will probably have bad performance.
    Since you pass the AccountID to the function, you could consider to calculate the results for all AccountIDs in the code and store the results into a table, then join this table into the query.

  • Warning when calling function using page text

    Hi *,
    I have a function in package which generates some parameters for a link I want to put on bottom of the View Form.
    The HTML I put in the bottom of View Form user text field looks like this:
    Create default visit for this group
    The problem is that Desinger throws a warning when I try to generate and the auto-install option gets ignored due to this error...
    Can I set Designer to ignore this "parse error", so that the auto-install works again?
    Here is the exact error message:

  • Smart Call function

    Hi,
    I have some questions about Oracle CRM on D(Release15).
    I'm trying to appear smart call function.
    Now I could see that function on "Page Layout Management of Task(Appointment) page layout" .
    And I set some settings to appear the smart call function.
    So,I could see smart call function on create "Appointment" page.
    There is a smart call weblink and that is crickable.
    After my crick, there is a error messege,"Access denied.(SBL-DAT-00553)"
    So, I checked settings of some access profiles and roles,
    but I could not found the item to set the smart call function.
    I'm sorry to my poor English. Please help me.
    ==
    Question1,
    Can smart call function use only on Life science Edition??
    Question2,
    Please tell me how to show and make smart call templates.
    ==
    Thank you.
    Yusuke

    Hi,
    You assumption is right that Smart Call option is available in Life Sciences Edition Only. But you can check with Support to see whether they can enable that for your OnDemand instance
    Once you get it enabled, you can place the "Calls" applet under say "Account". Go and create a call and after save in the call detail page you would get an option to save the call as a template for future reference / defaulting of the information
    Hope it helps

  • SQL report region source to call a pl/sql function using DB link

    Hi - I have a pl/sql function fn_dbtype(id NUMBER) defined in database X. The pl/sql function executes couple DML statements and returns a string (a SELECT query). I am able to call this function using SQL Plus (Connected to Database X) as below and it works fine:
    declare
    vSQL VARCHAR2(100);
    begin
    vSQL := fn_dbtype(1);
    end;
    The DML operations completed fine and vSQL contains the "Select" query now.
    In APEX:
    I am trying to create a SQL report in APEX using SQL query(PL/SQL function returning a sql statement) option. I am trying to figure out what to put in the region source so that the output of the "Select" query is displayed in the report.
    Moreover APEX is hosted in a different database instance. So I would need to call this pl/sql function using a DB Link.
    Please let me know what I need to put in the region source to execute the pl/sql function which returns the "Select" query thereby displaying the query output in the report. Thanks.

  • What is the use of CALL FUNCTION MODULE - AT BACKGROUND TASK?

    Hi experts,
    I found Call functional module in background task will make the FM run at the next commit work as some people said. So I have some questions:
    1 if we use COMMIT WORK commend, the pending FM will be called? If there are several FMs called at background task, what is the sequence of them? How many conditions will trigger the running of these FMs?
    2 Where can I find the log of this pending FMs? In SAP library, it says there are 2 tables. But I checked these tables and can only find the FM name and user of it. And I can not understand content of these tables. It seems one is for the main information of FM, and the other is for the data of the FM, maybe the parameters.
    3 If I call a FM in this way, Can I canncel it before the next commit work in some way?
    Finally, thanks for reading and help.

    HI,
    When the COMMIT WORK statement is executed, the function modules registered for the current SAP-LUW are started in the order in which they were registered. ROLLBACK WORK deletes all previous registrations for the current SAP-LUW.
    If the specified destination is not available when COMMIT WORK is executed, an executable program called RSARFCSE is started in background processing. By default, this tries to start the function modules registered for a SAP-LUW in their destination every 15 minutes and up to 30 times. These parameters can be changed in the transaction SM59. If the destination does not become available within the defined time, it is recorded in the database table ARFCSDATA as the entry "CPICERR". The entry in the database table ARFCSSTATE is deleted after a standard period of eight days

    http://smoschid.tripod.com/How_to_do_things_in_SAP/How_To_Build_SMARTFORMS/How_To_Build_SMARTFORMS.html
    SMARTFORMS STEPS.
    1. In Tcode se11 Create a structure(struct) same like the Internal table that you are going to use in your report.
    2. Create Table type(t_struct) of stracture in se11.
    3. In your program declare Internal table(Itab) type table of structure(struct).
    4. Define work area(wa) like line of internal table.
    5. Open Tcode Smartforms
    6. In form Global setting , forminterface Import parameter define Internal table(Itab) like table type of stracture(t_struct).
    7. In form Global setting , Global definitions , in Global data define Work area(wa) like type stracture(struct).
    8. In form pages and window, create Page node by default Page1 is available.
    9. In page node you can create numbers of secondary window. But in form there is only one Main window.
    10. By right click on page you can create windows or Go to Edit, Node, Create.
    11. After creating the window right click on window create table for displaying the data that you are passing through internal table.
    12. In the table Data parameter, loop internal internal table (Itab) into work area(wa).
    13. In table there are three areas Header, Main Area, Footer.
    14. Right click on the Main area create table line by default line type1 is there select it.
    15. Divide line into cells according to your need then for each cell create Text node.
    16. In text node general attribute. Write down fields of your work area(wa) or write any thing you want to display.
    17. Save form and activate it.
    18. Then go to Environment, function module name, there you get the name of function module copy it.
    19. In your program call the function module that you have copied from your form.
    20. In your program in exporting parameter of function pass the internal table(itab).
    SAP Smart Forms is introduced in SAP Basis Release 4.6C as the tool for creating and maintaining forms.
    SAP Smart Forms allow you to execute simple modifications to the form and in the form logic by using simple graphical tools; in 90% of all cases, this won't include any programming effort. Thus, a power user without any programming knowledge can
    configure forms with data from an SAP System for the relevant business processes.
    To print a form, you need a program for data retrieval and a Smart Form that contains the entire from logic. As data retrieval and form logic are separated, you must only adapt the Smart Form if changes to the form logic are necessary. The application program passes the data via a function module interface to the Smart Form. When activating the Smart Form, the system automatically generates a function module. At runtime, the system processes this function module.
    You can insert static and dynamic tables. This includes line feeds in individual table cells, triggering events for table headings and subtotals, and sorting data before output.
    You can check individual nodes as well as the entire form and find any existing errors in the tree structure. The data flow analysis checks whether all fields (variables) have a defined value at the moment they are displayed.
    SAP Smart Forms allow you to include graphics, which you can display either as part of the form or as background graphics. You use background graphics to copy the layout of an existing (scanned) form or to lend forms a company-specific look. During printout, you can suppress the background graphic, if desired.
    SAP Smart Forms also support postage optimizing.
    Also read SAP Note No. 168368 - Smart Forms: New form tool in Release 4.6C
    What Transaction to start SAP Smart Forms?
    Execute transaction SMARTFORMS to start SAP Smart Forms.
    Key Benefits of SAP Smart Forms:
    SAP Smart Forms allows you to reduce considerably the implementation costs of mySAP.com solutions since forms can be adjusted in minimum time.
    You design a form using the graphical Form Painter and the graphical Table Painter. The form logic is represented by a hierarchy structure (tree structure) that consists of individual nodes, such as nodes for global settings, nodes for texts, nodes for output tables, or nodes for graphics.
    To make changes, use Drag & Drop, Copy & Paste, and select different attributes.
    These actions do not include writing of coding lines or using a Script language.
    Using your form description maintained in the Form Builder, Smart Forms generates a function module that encapsulates layout, content and form logic. So you do not need a group of function modules to print a form, but only one.
    For Web publishing, the system provides a generated XML output of the processed form.
    Smart Forms provides a data stream called XML for Smart Forms (XSF) to allow the use of 3rd party printing tools. XSF passes form content from R/3 to an external product without passing any layout information about the Smart Form.
    SmartForms System Fields
    Within a form you can use the field string SFSY with its system fields. During form processing the system replaces these fields with the corresponding values. The field values come from the SAP System or are results of the processing.
    System fields of Smart Forms
    &SFSY-DATE&
    Displays the date. You determine the display format in the user master record.
    &SFSY-TIME&
    Displays the time of day in the form HH:MM:SS.
    &SFSY-PAGE&
    Inserts the number of the current print page into the text. You determine the format of the page number (for example, Arabic, numeric) in the page node.
    &SFSY-FORMPAGES&
    Displays the total number of pages for the currently processed form. This allows you to include texts such as'Page x of y' into your output.
    &SFSY-JOBPAGES&
    Contains the total page number of all forms in the currently processed print request.
    &SFSY-WINDOWNAME&
    Contains the name of the current window (string in the Window field)
    &SFSY-PAGENAME&
    Contains the name of the current page (string in the Page field)
    &SFSY-PAGEBREAK&
    Is set to 'X' after a page break (either automatic [Page 7] or command-controlled [Page 46])
    &SFSY-MAINEND&
    Is set as soon as processing of the main window on the current page ends
    &SFSY-EXCEPTION&
    Contains the name of the raised exception. You must trigger your own exceptions, which you defined in the form interface, using the user_exception macro (syntax: user_exception <exception name >).
    Example Forms Available in Standard SAP R/3
    SF_EXAMPLE_01
    Simple example; invoice with table output of flight booking for one customer
    SF_EXAMPLE_02
    Similar to SF_EXAMPLE_01 but with subtotals
    SF_EXAMPLE_03
    Similar to SF_EXAMPLE_02, whereby several customers are selected in the application program; the form is called for each customer and all form outputs are included in an output request
    Advantages of SAP Smart Forms
    SAP Smart Forms have the following advantages:
    1. The adaption of forms is supported to a large extent by graphic tools for layout and logic, so that no programming knowledge is necessary (at least 90% of all adjustments). Therefore, power user forms can also make configurations for your business processes with data from an SAP system. Consultants are only required in special cases.
    2. Displaying table structures (dynamic framing of texts)
    3. Output of background graphics, for form design in particular the use of templates which were scanned.
    4. Colored output of texts
    5. User-friendly and integrated Form Painter for the graphical design of forms
    6. Graphical Table Painter for drawing tables
    7. Reusing Font and paragraph formats in forms (Smart Styles)
    8. Data interface in XML format (XML for Smart Forms, in short XSF)
    9. Form translation is supported by standard translation tools
    10. Flexible reuse of text modules
    11. HTML output of forms (Basis release 6.10)
    12. Interactive Web forms with input fields, pushbuttons, radio buttons, etc. (Basis-Release 6.10)

  • How can I call functions in packages using flash builder?

    a new guy in flash developnet, I need to find out a way to import multiple packages into frames and call functions. I know how to import packages, but an error occurs error 1120 : access of undefined property. How can ı solve them?
    Is there any easy way to add Mediapomise object to the stage form the package? "addChild(loader);" does not work? or ı do not know whether it works or not, ı could not see the photo that ı took from camerauı object in android.
    thank you

    I need to find out a way to import multiple packages into frames
    Usually, no matter where you use any classes of any package, the imports happen always in the beginning.
    If you have a specific problem with flashbuilder you should post in this forum:

  • Calling Functions of Loading DLL using java

    I have a dll file
    I know the functions which are ther in the dll
    But how to call those functions using JAVA ?
    can anyone tell me how to do the same...
    Thanx in advance
    regards,
    Ritesh

    I assume that you have a regular DLL and that the functions in that DLL are exported and that you know the signatures of each function.
    With that in mind, you will need to use the Java Native Interface (JNI), to call those functions from Java. In a nutshell, you will need to create at least one class which declares some native methods, code a class static code block to load the JNI-DLL you are about to create, compile the class(es), run the javah tool supplied with the JDK which will emit a C compatible header file, implement the functions from the generated header file and compile that source file to into a DLL. It would be in this DLL that you would use the functions in the DLL that you ultimately want to access. So, what you wind up doing is creating a wrapper DLL.
    Take a look at the JNI tutorial trail from Sun at http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/native1.1/index.html.

  • How to access Call Back Functions using *.dll in the Labview?

    Hai,
    I am Pavan Ram Kumar Somu.
    I am new to Labview, currently I am working on MVB Interface.
    I need to access the API functions from *.dll file in Labview, as of now , I am doing this with Call function Library node in Labview but it does not support the following data types like
        1. Pointer Arguments(To which memory it points in Labview)
        2. function pointers Arguments
        3 .pointers in structures and pointer structures in structures and many other data types.
    Please Answer the below queries also:
    1. How to pass pointer arguments to API functions in DLL and how to collect pointer
        return types from API functions in DLL
    2. How to pass structure arguments to API functions in DLL and how to collect structure
        return types from API functions in DLL
    3. How to use callback functions(nothing but function pointers) in Labview and how to
        collect callback fuctions return types from API functions in DLL
    I need your help while passing these datatypes to API functions in DLL from labview.
    Suggest me if there is any other alternative for implementing this task.
    I am referencing some examples here:
    Examples:
    I)
    Unsigned short int gf_open_device(void *p_device_config, unsigned long int client_life_sign_timeout, unsigned short int *device_error)
    void *p_device_config: How to access/pass these arguments in LabView and to which memory location it points in LabView.
    II) #include <windows.h>
         #include <process.h>
         HANDLE rcvEvent0, rcvEvent1;
    /* Function call*/
    CanGetReceiveEvent(handle[0], &rcvEvent0);
    Above is a piece of C code, Now I want to use HANDLE datatype which is windows based, how to use these type in the LABVIEW.
    With regards

    Search the forum (forums.ni.com) for callback, pointer or handle, and you'll find that it is all possible, but not very easy.

    When user command is called it uses 2 parameters. The itab

    all data from the table. You can also check r_ucomm and code
