Calling name don't displays on agent's phone

Hello, i've an issue,
we have 5 agents with Cisco UCCX 7 (Premium).
when these is an incomming call, first of all they see CTI route point and when the call handled, agent see just calling phone number, but not name.
Is it possible to make that an agent could see calling name and not cti route points

The phone will always display the CTI port information until they answer the call on their phone. This is not configurable. They can view the ANI on CAD however.
For caller ID name, CCX does not retain this information so this will not be seen when the call is transferred to the agent's ICD line from the CTI port.
Changing either of these behaviors would require a product enhancement request with your local Cisco AM.

Has your carrier been having issues with Call Display? Do the telephone numbers come up when people call, or does it just show 'Unknown Number' or 'Blocked' ?

Caller Name is not displayed on incoming calls on Classic

When I receive a call on my new Classic on 10.3.1.1779 the caller's name is not displayed even thought they are a saved contact. What can I do please?

Caller Name is not displayed.

Platform is BES10.
For incoming calls, the name of the caller is not displayed. The caller is part of my address book which has been imported/synchronized with my outlook.
after terminating the call, i can see the name of the caller in the HUB. but it is still not appearing in the log of "Phone" apps.
We have 320 BB users that we want to move to BB10 platform very soon. the above issue is a showstopper.

I have installed latest release of OS 10.1.0.273 on my Z10 and still facing same issue.
I have noticed that things are working fine after fresh setup of "Work" space and sync of e-mails and contact from my outlook. The bug reappear after rebooting of the device.
I hope that somebody from RIM will take care and answer this query. it is frustrating as I got no answer till now.
there is a major risk that we will move to other platform if the issue is not solved. 320 devices.

Real file names don't display in iPhoto

About 2 weeks ago I upgraded to the most recent version of iPhoto (5.x). This seems to have corrupted the library file as many photos then disappeared from their albums, though the albums were visible.
Rebuilt the library database. This brought the missing photos back.
However, now most of the titles of the photos in iPhoto display as the roll name + a number. Yet when I double click on the photos, and they open in Photoshop, Photoshop displays the correct name.
Anyone have any leads on resolving this?

There's nothing to resolve. The Title and the File Name are different things. However, you can force the Title to match the File Name. Select a photo or photos and go to the Photos/Batch Change menu.

Caller name does not display

When any of my contacts calls me, their name does not appear from the phonebook. ALl I get is a number. How can I change this??

This is usually caused by the duplication of contacts. Have a look at this link.

E52 BT caller name order

I'm having a problem with caller name and phonebook display when using E52 with Audi Bluetooth MMI - the order of first and last name is reversed, so the car display shows LAST, FIRST instead of FIRST LAST. The interesting thing is the good old 6300 works fine. Is there anything I can do (besides editing all contact entries)?

Not showing Caller Name on E51

I have upgrade software but after that my phone not showing caller name on the screen.Before upgrading my phone was shwoing caller name when I received call. my all phone numbers are on SIM , can some body let me know how this will work or its setting.

The problem may be, that you have all your contacts on the SIM card and on the phone as well. Is that possible?
Duplicate matches for a specific phone number lead to not showing a phone number at all...

Can a 7965 display a URI address as the Calling name?

I have a customer that is utilizing URI dialing as much as possible. The TPX endpoints, DX650, and 99XX phones display the URI address of the calling number. But when calling a 7965 from a URI speed dial I do not see the URI address...just to Calling Name and number. Can this be done?

I havent done this in the past but I am going to assume that the 7965 is a SCCP phone and you might have to migrate it to SIP to get that info.

How do I call image file names from MySQL & display the image?

Hello everyone,
I have image file names (not the full URL) stored in a MySQL database. The MySQL database is part of MAMP 1.7 and I am using Dreamweaver CS3 on a Mac Book Pro.
I would like to create a catalog page using thumbnails, and PayPal buttons displayed within a table, in rows. With the image centered and the PayPal button directly underneath the image.
How do I use PHP to call the thumbnail images as an image not the file name, to be displayed in the table?

ACD Logs Display and Agent Call Display is N/A on CSD

Nokia x6 no caller name displayed

Hi ,ive just got a nokia x6. I have all my contacts on the sim card. when i get a call the number is displayed but not the name.
does anyone know how i get the name displayed?

Found this little gem online when I had the same problem quote:
If multiple contacts have the same number in your contacts list and one of them calls you, your phone has no way of knowing which one is actually on the other end of the line and, quite sensibly, just shows the number instead of trying to "guess" who it really is. Now, most phones can store contacts both in their own memory and on the SIM card. If you have the same contact in both locations then that counts as duplicates and you'll never see that contact's name displayed. The cure for this is to use the phone's built-in search facility and to search for the number in question. If you find it more than once then you'll have to delete all but one occurrance.

It worked for me, my problem was I had numbers I called from abroad with the +44 prefix with the persons name and int (for international dialling) i.e. Bill 07....... then Bill Int +447..... this meant that as the phone saw 07 and +447 as the same number it did not know if it was Bill or Bill int calling so just displayed the number.
I just put both the international number and the uk dial number in the same contact under phone and mobile and bingo works a treat.

Called name display over qsig and H323

i'm trying to display the caller name when calling from a cisco ip phone to a siemens phone, and vice versa. the siemens pbx is conneced to the voice gateway through qsig.the gateway is configured as h323 on the call manager. Note that the the calling name is displayed in both ways.
Anyone has a suggestion how to display the calling name?

I configure AutoAttendant through call router and call handler in unity ,but the caller number can't display and it prompts "From Voicemail" on phone before the call is picked up.And after picking up it,the caller number is display normally . Why ?

Assuming that you've set up the call transfer to be 'supervised transfer' this is the behavior you're going to see. When Unity puts the original caller on hold in order to call your phone, the two call legs aren't bridged together, so the call appears to CallManager to be a simple call from Unity. When you pick up the call, then Unity bridges the two legs together, and CallManager changes the caller ID to reflect the change. If you reconfigure Unity to use 'release to switch' then you will see half a second of the call being from Unity, but when it bridges the two legs together (while your phone is still ringing), CallManager will immediately change the readout.
When you choose 'release to switch', Unity will put the caller on hold, dial the user's number, and connect the two. So, the caller should hear a very brief moment of music on hold, then hear the ringback from the phone, etc. To get it so that there's MoH until the recipient answers, you'd have to go back to 'supervised transfer', which would break your Caller ID.
