Calling of MR11 by a report program
Hello All,
I have a requirement where in I have a selection screen on which I would enter an account number and based on that I need to clear the GRIR difference for all PO's based on certain conditions and post the difference into the account on the selection screen. Is there any Function module which can be used having a similar functionality as MR11 transaction, where in the interface of the function module I can send in the account number to be posted in ? If not what could be an alternative to call the transaction other than BDC. I need it to perform the functionality with out displaying the screens of MR11.
Before MR11 call I need to call FB65 and post a vendor credit memo if IR amount is greater then GR amount also.
Any inputs on this ?

Calling Pricing Procedure independently using report/Program in ECC

We are working on SRM 7.0 classic scenario and need MM expertise to configure one RFx comparison scenario. We have a requirement of pricing comparison of various RFx response received from bidder (supplier company), pricing should be same as found under condition section of MM PO. Having complete details regarding Taxation, Sales tax details, excise details (replica of pricing section of PO).
We are working on a solution where in we can pass the basic inputs to MM interface (Tax code, vendor number, material, etc,.) and fetch the pricing details and display in SRM for comparison of price.
To achieve this we need to know whether we can call the pricing outside separately using a standard program/report and use it for our calculation and call to SRM using RFC.
Please suggest.

We have a requirement to print a Barcode ( Code 39) in the report program. Customer has a existing report in which they would like to add the barcode. Barcode would be displayed as text when the report is executed & when he clicks on PRINT from the menu bar, he wants the report to be printed along with the barcode.
We do not want to use SAP Script/Smartform.
Any pointers to call a barcode from the report program would be appreciated.

Trigerring Outbound XI interface from a report program
Hi All,
I have scenario which requires an outbound interface to be triggered from a report program.
I followed the approach given in
/people/ravikumar.allampallam/blog/2005/03/14/abap-proxies-in-xiclient-proxy
when i am excuting the report program and checked in the sxmb_moni for the status of the message, even though the payload is ok, but the status of the message is failed with msg saying Reciever is not configured.
Since i have only one Outbound interface, so while configuring the integration builder, i can only specify the name for outbound interface but it asks for even inbound interface which i don't have?
Can you please suggest the soultion?

From report there are 2 ways of trigerring messages to XI.
Method 1:(busines system running on web as>=6.20
Create proxy for your outbound interface, it generates proxy class in your local IE system(Business system).
once the proxy is generated, you can test it.select the class & click on exucute button located on menu bar.
fill the values and say execute,(for ASyn only).
<b><u>Calling in report</u></b>
Then call the proxy class in your report and fill the values
for ASN: EXECUTE_ASYNCHRONOUS
FOR SYN: EXECUTE SYNCHRONOUS.
Method 2: business system running or 4.6/47 webas in not there
You need to create RFC import the RFC in IR use it as MI(Outbound/syn/asn)
Use the program ID created for RFC communication channel, and create a TCPIP
connection in your business system and use the program id as registerd server program.
Then call the RFC in your report program.
it will work.

Calling a ALV Report program via a Remote Function module.

The thing which I am looking out for is ,to know a technique to acheive this,
To start with,
For the transaction MB51-(Material Document List),which is a Report Program "RM07DOCS",I also observed that this uses a ALV to display the output.
Now what I actually require is another extra field (from MARA table ) along with the standard output that is displayed from this report.
Also this needs to be passed to a different UI system(build using VC ).
So I have a RFC eg DisplayList(),where in I need to exeucte this report program ,get the output what it gives ,add my additional information what I want to and pass it as a export parameter,
So this is the structure which I can visualise,
FUNCTION ZFUN_MB51TXN.
I would get all the import parameters here ,from who ever is calling my fun module,

*get the output from this report program
*send the output to the caller through export parameters

Error while calling FM from report program
i am calling a FM using the follwoing program

We must never change the format in which a FM is displayed once we call the pattern.

About call a webdynpro program in R/3 report program.

i am searching a report program which was written by my colleague who have left my project.
there is one button displayed on the ALV tool bar of this report program.when i push this button,a message are sent to protal and displayed in tasks,then i log into portal,double click the message,a webdynpro program will be called and used to further process.
i really want to know how i can decide to use which webdynpro program to be call and used. for example,now the R/3 program use the webdynpro program named AAA, i copy BBB from AAA,and want to replace AAA by BBB in this program, how?
i don't know how to meet this simple requirement such as upwards and confused about it. hope anyone can show me some information.

Actually there is a workflow involvedi n this. On clicking the alv button a workflow gets triggered and the task appears in the SAP Inbox which anyway displayed in the UWL of the Portal.
just try changing the SWFVISU transaction entry for that particular task and change the applicaiton name to your new application name and re-register the system in the UWL Admin Pagem, i hope it works.
If you did not find any entry in SWFVISU, the developer might have exported the XML in UWL Administration page in the portal down load it identify the old applicaiton name nad replace it with your new application name and upload the XML

SathisIf the report is just based out of a table than create a Generic Extractor using View.
If its an InfoSet query than create a Generic Extractor on that InfoSet.
If its an ABAP report than create a Generic Extractor using FM

Variant calling in the report program.
Hi,
I got a report program to be called using the submit statement mentioned below.
SUBMIT... [USING SELECTION-SET <var>].
The Variant is saved in the Tcode. How can i get the Variant programatically rather than harcoding the variant name?.i mean any table it will be stored or any Function module available?.
The variants are stored in the TVARV table, but still i need to pass the variant name to get the entries from the table.Any other alternative.
