Calling Oracle Standard Form from OAF page - Need to hide the find screen.
Hi all,
i have a requirement where i need to call a oracle standard form(D2K form) from OAF page and need to pass parameter. Now i can able to call a form from page on button click using the following syntax,
"form:AR:US_AR_SUPER_USER:STANDARD:AR_ARXCWMAI_AGE"
My query here is, When i call this form its open with find Form and after values are entered it goes the main form.
I need to hide this find screen which is avaiable in standard and need to call directly the main form with out find form.
Please help me out to reach this.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Renu
You need to pass the parameter to the actual form to display the results something like "form:AR:US_AR_SUPER_USER:STANDARD:AR_ARXCWMAI_AGE&P_PARAM=123", assuming P_PARAM is the actual parameter defined in the form. Open the form and check which parameters are available and pass the values accordingly.
Thanks

UTIL-PARAM STRING ERROR when calling a form from OAF Page
Dear Experts,
Can you please suggest, as we are getting the below error when we are calling a form from OAF page.
"UTIL-PARAM STRING ERROR"
We have created a button to call the same and the syntax used is as below.
form:PA:OLNG_MOC_PROJECTS_ENGINEER:STANDARD:PA_PAXCARVW:PROJECT_NUMBER={@ProjectNumber}
Thanks in advance,
SatishHi all,
I have a Personalized Button, my button call a customized form (with a parameter named TAINV_PARAM). Function of customized Form is TAINV_FORM
In OAF page, I have a text, it's values is 'TAINV', it's ID is VALUES_ATTRIBUTE (you can show source code in browser).
In Destination URL of Personalized Button, fill code to call Customized Form:
*javascript: var v_get_value=document.GetElementById(VALUES_ATTRIBUTE).innerHTML;openWindow(top, 'OA.jsp?OAFunc=TAINV_FORM&TAINV_PARAM'+v_get_value,null, {width:750, height:550},false, 'dialog', null);void(0);*

Calling Oracle Ebusiness Forms from a Webcenter Portal application
Hello All,
Would there be any known/standard procedure of calling Oracle EBusiness Forms from a Custom WebCenter Portal Application. The issue we are facing currently is that we are successfully able to call an Oracle EBS Forms as a GO Link from the application. The problem is when there are multiple links to open different EBS Forms. Multiple instances of the Forms sessions are created. We would like to have only one. We are trying to mimic the Oracle EBusiness Home Page / Landing Page.
Any pointers are much appreciated.
Thanks,
NachiHi.
Are you using Portal or Framework Portal?.
In case of <noscript> is generated by JAVA internal classes and the unique way to change the message is with a Non supported workaround overriding a CoreBundle class.
About the af:skipLinkTarget usually is in the Page Template. The default templates has it in next snippet:
<f:facet name="center">
<af:skipLinkTarget>
<af:facetref facetname="content">
</af:facetref>
</af:skipLinkTarget>
</f:facet>
If you're using default Templates then copy them and remove the af:skipLinkTarget tag from the copied one and assign it to the Portal.
I hope it helps.

Can we call an oracle form from OAF Page
Hi,
I have a requirement , wherein I should add a field to an existing OAF Page and when the user clicks on the field the oracle forms should open and after filling the details in the oracle form user will close the from and return to the OAF page.
I would like to get some inputs on how this can be acheived.
Please do help .Use this as an example.
int orgId = pageContext.getOrgId();
String destination = "form:SQLAP:DAV_PAYABLES_MGR:STANDARD:AP_APXINWKB_BATCH_SUMMARY_VIEW:INVOICE_ID=" invoiceId " ORG_ID="+orgId+" G_QUERY_FIND='FLASE'";
pageContext.forwardImmediatelyToForm(destination);
DAV_PAYABLES_MGR is the responsibility Key that you wanted to use and the user has that responsibility
AP_APXINWKB_BATCH_SUMMARY_VIEW is the name of form. This is not the name of FMB but the form definition name

One of my client is currently trying the following based on the instructions on page 331 of the "Oracle Application Framework Developer’s Guide Release 11.5.10 RUP4 July 2006".
To open a D2K form from an OA Framework page ->
Trying to pass a parameter to the form. When they use a hardcode value like:
form:CSS:CUST_SUPPORT_US1_USER_ERGO:STANDARD:XX_XXTRFRMA:P_INCIDENT_ID=162498
The form opens correctly and there are no errors. But when the client passes a value from a field on the OAF page like:
form:CSS:CUST_SUPPORT_US1_USER_ERGO:STANDARD:XX_XXTRFRMA:P_INCIDENT_ID={@IncidentId}
They get the UTIL-PARAM STRING ERROR
Forms currently being used is 6.0.8.28.0 with PATCH 8888184Hi all,

Safari used to let me drag an image from a webpage to the finder and have the dragged file be saved as an actual image but now all that's saved is a webloc file. I want the image saved, not a reference to the image's URL - do I now have to always use "save as" to save it?
I can understand Safari creating a webloc file if I dragged the site icon from the location bar to the finder, but to make the default behavior for dragging things that are parts of a page (not the page itself) as webloc files seems like a HUGE step backwards for usability.
Does anyone know if there's, say, a key to hold when dragging to avoid saving a webloc file or a defaults command or something to make Safari revert back to sane draging behavior?Good questions... I'll have to try and figure out when the problem first happened - I was thinking it was when I upgraded to Safari 5.1.4 but that might not be the case... I'll try your suggestions to see if any of them eliminate the problem (I have restarted recenlty and that didn't fix it) but I'll try repairing permissions,etc. Thanks!
hmmm... Mcbuffy: are you implying that you *don't* get the webloc when dragging an image out of Safari and that this isn't a caused by change to Safari but is a big/conflict in mine? -

sreekanthHi Sreekanth;
Change your output type from PDF to HTML. Then it will give you clear error message in HTML page after fixing it if you able to see/run report fine in HTML then change your output type back to PDF.

Concurrent Request default Parameters from OAF page
Hi,
I calling a concurrent request from OAF page using the below command.
requestId = cr.submitRequest(applnName, cpName, "", "", false, cpParameters);
The display parameters are only 4 and the remaining parameters are having default values in the concurrent program definition. When I call the concurrent request with the above call, the values are not getting populated. Should I add them manually to cpParameters? Please let me know.
Thanks,
HPGood Job :)
Closed the thread and paste the resolution you that other can also refer to it.

Calling a Standard Form (With the data retreived) from a custom form
Hi All,
We have a requirement to call a standard form (form function : QP_QPXPRLMS) from a custom form on a button click.
we have passed Modifier List header id as parameter..
FND_FUNCTION.EXECUTE(FUNCTION_NAME=>'QP_QPXPRMLS',
OPEN_FLAG=>'Y',
SESSION_FLAG => 'Y',
OTHER_PARAMS=>'LIST_HEADER_ID_QF = '||:TEST_BLK.MODIFIER_HEADER_ID); Then, the form opens fine but as in Entry mode.. we want the data to be queried automatically for the passed Header Id.
I have seen multiple posts on the similar requirement, and followed all the suggestions possible but didnt work.
1. Is there anything i am missing here. please suggest.
2. How would we know what are the mandatory parameters to be passed to open another standard form (is there any doc to check that)
Also, we are unable to open QPXPRLMS.fmb as it is huge and form is getting hanged, any inputs how to pen that?
Thanks,
Pavanpass parameter using this syntax:
fnd_function.execute(FUNCTION_NAME=>'DEM_DEMXXEOR',
OPEN_FLAG=>'Y',
SESSION_FLAG=>'Y',
OTHER_PARAMS=>'ORDER_ID="'||param_to_pass1||
'" CUSTOMER_NAME="'||param_to_pass2||'"');
-- all the extra single and double quotes account for
-- any spaces that might be in the passed values -
