Calling phones from other than home country

While traveling overseas, in order to call phone numbers, should I use home country international dialing code or the code of the country I am in? Have tried several ways but nothing seems to be working.

You would dial telephone numbers from Skype the same way, wherever you are, and even if you are in the same country as the number you are dialing. Your location is irrelevant to Skype when calling phones.
To call a number in the States, you would dial +1 xxx xxx-xxxx (or 00 1 instead of +1). For Brazil, you would have to start out with the Brazilian country code +55 (or 00 55) followed by the Brazilian area code and phone number. The 21 you are referring to appears to be a code to select a Brazilian telephone carrier Embratel when placing a call within Brazil. You can't use those carrier-selection codes when dialing from Skype. Skip that, and dial the rest of the number as you outlined - 00, then country code, then area code and number.

No, you can only buy content from your own country's store - to be able to buy form another store you need a valid billing address in that country and be in that country when buying from it. You can try requesting that the content that you want be added to the US store, but ultimately it's the content providers (record companies, film studios etc) that will have to grant Apple a license to sell it there : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html

In our PBX environment, currently a user can forward calls to any local (within a region) internal extension. But for external PSTN call forwarding, a user needs to send a request and be approved by their manager. And the forwarding restriction
is applied such that user is only allowed to forward to that particular PSTN number - to prevent toll fraud.
Moving forward to Lync, using voice policy's call forwarding and simultaneous ring PSTN usages, I can set it to allow forward and simultaneous ring to custom PSTN usage and a custom route that will only send calls to these pre-approved
external numbers.
Outcome
But in such a scenario,

1) I think multiple policies may be your best bet, though it's not a fun one to manage, I agree. MSPL could do it, but it would be more complex to maintain in the end. Even gateways have limitations on routes.
2) I'm not aware of a limit, though I'm not saying there's isn't one. But if you hit it, you could move to a second usage/route combo.
I'd suggest building out some PowerShell usage/route creation/organization script for this so it's not something that would need to be maintained within the GUI.

Are you talking about restore of the iPhone from its backup, or something else? The first time you sync an iOS device on each calendar day iTunes will update the backup set for the device. If you remove data from the device and backup, then the backup of that data has gone. For this reason it actually makes sense to restore an iOS device periodically as, once used for a restore, the backup set is archived and a new one created.
Ideally you would have backed up these pictures somewhere. If you enabled it, you may find pictures in your Photo Stream.
In general you need to keep a backup copy of all your important files. iTunes will let you download most past purchases from the store but backing up other content is down to you. The user Backup your iTunes for Windows library with SyncToy suggests a way to do this for iTunes, but the same tool can be used to preserve other folders of data.

Can I use an iPad 2 3G bought in the USA with a different phone carrier in my home country?

I intend to buy an iPad 2 3G in the USA and bring it back to my home country (Chile) but I'm not sure if the broadband connection will work here with a phone carrier different from AT&T or Verizon. If somebody knows the answer please let me know as soon as possible as I have to buy the iPad this week.

The ATT iPad model uses the GSM technology (VZ uses CDMA, which is used in very few places outside the US). Get the ATT iPad, you can plop in your local microSIM card, the iPad is not locked to ATT.

Basically call the beans as if you were calling them in the same server through their remote interfaces. Get a InitialContext into the other appserver and then get the home object, narrow it and create a remote reference. You can follow the standard implementation just make sure that the InitialContext you create has the right properties, ie. context factory, urls, etc to the OTHER appserver.

Obtain DST patch for 10.2.0.1.0 on Windows from other than MetaLink?

Does anybody know whether it's possible to get patches from anywhere other than MetaLink?
I downloaded and installed Oracle Database 10g Release 2 (10.2.0.1.0) for Microsoft Windows from OTN, but I had one hell of a time getting the Enterprise Manager to connect properly because of that DST problem that everyone's been complaining about.
I read in one post that there was a DST patch. However, I don't have a support contract, so no Support Identifier to register for MetaLink. Is there anywhere else to obtain this DST patch?
I did manage eventually to get Enterprise Manager to connect and work properly by changing my Windows DST setting and 'hitting' EM until it just happened to work. But I have to go through that same ridiculous procedure every time I restart my machine, so I was hoping to get a patch.

It is not possible to do so legally.
Buy the support agreement. There is a lot of value beyond the patches. Doing so will give you access to the Knowledge Base, Service Requests, and much more.

Oracle reading binary files from other oracle home.

I have two oracle db installed on the same server but on different oracle home.
It seems to me that the second oracle is reading the binaries from the other installation.
I can start this database and the sap instance and it starts on the correct oracle home but I see that it is reading files on the first oracle home.
for example, it saves the spfile under the first oracle_home\database directory. I started it using pfile=<the_correct_ora-home>\database\initSID.ora and set on this init.ora file the correct path for spfile.
But even after this if i change any parameter, it stills change the spfile on the wrong <oracle_home>\database.
Is there a way to fix this ? I mean to make the second oracle to see files under its own oracle home ?
It is oracle 11g under windows 2008.
Remember that all the environment variables is pointing to the correct oracle home and I can start SAP and Oracle as well on this oracle_home.

No, we don't have anything else installed yet.
Please see what I found out:
Checking those binary errors I found out that the oracle service
OracleServiceDPC (the second instance on this server) is being started from the wrong oracle_home path. Please
see the path to the executables on that service properties:
g:\oracle\dnc\11202\bin\ORACLE.EXE DPC
It is pointing to the other oracle home DNC but starting instance DPC. How can I change that ?
Please see that the oracle home, the listener, etc is correct pointing
to oracle home G:\oracle\DPC\11202.
I would like to disable this service and create the correct one.
Is that possible ?

1) They should be boolean inputs to your VI. But does it makes sense to provide a stop button input at the start of your VI? (THINK DATAFLOW!)

Calling Transaction from other system using RFC

I have one button on screen(say Screen-A), in ECC. when its pressed the transaction '/SAPAPO/BOPIN' gets called from APO.
For calling transaction from APO I am using FM - 'ABAP4_CALL_TRANSACTION'.
I want the initial screen of that transaction to retain some values which I fill on the Screen-A(the screen which has that button).
When I call the transaction from ECC itself (ex. C006), the initial screen of C006 retains the value on Screen-A.
I want the same to happen in case of calling transaction from APO.
How to achieve this? Would it need the changes in IMG (SPRO)?
Please note that, Screen-A is initial screen of transaction 'md05' and I want to retain vaules of Material, MRP Area, Plant.

NetBeans: Calling code from other packages?

Normally, when I would call code from eclipse, I would type something like:
import +<package name>.<class name>+But somehow, this approach doesn't seem to work in NetBeans, how can I import code from another package? I can seem to import from the same package, but not a different one.
