Calls not making it to recipient

Recently I contacted verizon wireless regarding a problem with dropped calls. This problem was addressed and I do not think I have had a dropped called since. However, I still am having a problem with calls not going through.
What I mean by this is that I will call someone and I will hear the ringing on their end, all the way to voicemail. I never leave voicemails. When I eventually hear from that person, they will tell me their phone never rang and that they have no missed call. Sometimes, they will tell me their phone just rang once when on my end it had rung a good 7-10 times. Has anyone else ever had a problem like this? It tends to happen more when calling people on Sprint or AT&T but I have had it happen with people on Verizon as well.
On a possibly related note, my iMessaging has been malfunctioning quite a bit since my partner moved. Roughly half of my texts from my iPhone to her iPhone are forced to be delivered as regular text messages. She is in sprint. I have had a cousin and a friend (AT&T and T Mobile) respond to texts days after I sent them tell me they were just received.
Any help is appreciated on this complicated issue.

Alright I shut off the phone and removed the sim card for about a minute.
It's hard to monitor improvement because I don't always know when it's
malfunctioning but I will keep you posted. There is still a problem though.
Just yesterday I called someone and on my end there was about 8-10 rings
but on their end only 1 ring. This morning two calls and a voicemail did
not make it through.
Texting is also hard to monitor but isn't really the issue I'm concerned
with fixing as it happens much much less than the phone calls. I'm a
physician in training and it is pretty important to me that people are able
to contact me when they need to and vice versa.

MCM Gatekeeper 12.4(17) "show gatek calls" not making sense

Sometimes when I do a "show gatek calls" to view current Video calls, the information show for a particular call shows the H323ID calling itself, however it shows different E.164 address for SRV and DST endpoint. This does not look right to me. Calls are still being connected fine, however I would like to know what would cause this particular information to appear on the call log. The current GW2P Gateway Cards register with the Gatekeeper with Service prefixes. show gatek gw-type prefix. The GW service prefixes were setup from the get go. thats not the problem. I believe The problem has to do with LRQ(Location_Request) timing. Everytime the GK receives information from the GWs, endpoints or MCUs the information is then displayed on the show Gatek calls display. I have a TAC case in, and IOS Engineers looking at the case. I still do not have a solid answer to this.

I want email as I want this documented offical and no other means offeres me that assurance. I'd also like to discuss comensation for being harrassed with phone calls.

Well if you pay your bill the calls would not happen.
You need only tell them not to call you during working time.
The Fair Debt Collections Practices Act states you must tell them it is not convenient.
Now if marketing calls you can opt out at the Verizon web portal under your My Verizon account.
You will not get compensation for them to call you. Nice try.
However they could just shut your phone off and then you will call them.
Email is not an option.

When i call my daughters mobile I let it ring twice and then hang up before she answers, she then calls me back, why am I charged 21 pence for simply ringing her number and not making a call.

Charged £1.50 for not making calls... but we are!

Hello, we have been with BT for about 3 months. We paid for 12 months of line rental and have a unlimited phone/10GB broadband package.
We have been chaged every single month for not making the minimum number of calls per month, however we are making a couple of calls each week and one month in paticular we made quite alot as a family member was in hospital. We started to record the calls but gave up at about 10 because it was inconvinient.
The customer service people (whom we are calling from this phone we are not making any calls from!) repeatedly tell us over and over that we are not making calls... but we are!
Does anyone know what is happening here?

If your calls are being billed to the wrong company, try prefixing your calling number with 1280, that will ensure that the call gets routed via BT. Then see if the calls appear on your bill.
If they do, then somehow your calls are still being billed to TalkTalk, and you may have a nasty surprise when they bill you.

I continue to get charged on my credit for purchases I am not making on itunes. They are all small purchases such as $4.99, $1.99, $6.99 but have added to almost $300 in total. I keep clicking on them as report a problem. I have switched credit cards but this continues to happen. What do I do? Seems like there is no number to call. Wish I could talk to a person rather than trying to navigate this through the internet.

If they aren't showing on your account's purchase history then you should also contact your card issuer.

Call not allowed nokia e72

my handset was working properly before i did factory reset. After i did factory rest to cancel the forgotten settings my phone fails to make calls by a message call not allowed. When some one calls me my phone does not ring even though it seems am online. What could be the problem with my nokia E72?

if your phone was working fine, why did you do a reset? how did you do the reset? you might have to get your carrier to send you new phone settings to save before making calls and sending messages.

End Call not responsive

When I start to make a call, pressing the END Call is not responsive and the recipient receive a missed call. It takes 3 seconds to respond.

Can you clarify please...why would you be using the "End Call" when you "start to make a call"?
In any event...anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness shows up, the first thing to try is a proper reboot:
Pre-BB10 Devices ONLY. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes.
BB10 Devices. Hold the top button down until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the device to be fully shut down (e.g., nothing at all displayed on the screen, no LED lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red LED is lit. Wait through the full boot-up process. If this fails, you can attempt the battery-pull method above, but it is normally NOT recommended unless nothing else works.
See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.

call them, tell them you NEED a new battery installed, and they need to tell you when they can do it. That is their job to help you! Give pushback if necessary.

Calling not working

I continuously try calling and getting called by my friends who live across the state, only to have the call not work for me. I don't get any ringing or the pop-up window, it just shows me that they are in a call. When I do try to join, it sits there for approximately 30 seconds trying to connect and then kicks me out of the call. I have reset Skype, I have checked for updates; I have the most recent one, I'm up to date. They all have no problem calling with each other but I cannot join or make calls. Oddly enough, there is only one person I can call or get calls from out of our group, but I don't receive a notification unless it's from her. I have tried calling echo and it works every time but not with my friends. Please send help or something to try to fix this problem, it is making Skype unuseable.

Glad we found a workaround. On which network and in which country are you roaming? And who is your home network operator?

I compose an iMessage with the destination as my email address and I attach 2 photos I want on my PC. I send them several times from my iPhone 5C but they never arrive. I look at my ipad later and realize that it's iMessage app is getting ( and swallowing) these emails. I then turn the ipad off. Still can't get the photos through because iphone is now getting them on it's iMessage. I turn off the iMessage feature and try to send photos from text msging. Phone tells me it can't send photos unless iMessage it turned on. What happened to regular MMS text messaging? I go and try to send photos as an email attachment and see that there is no option to attach from the stupid email program. I look up online to learn about the brave new world of apple attachments and send them.

The email program on my iphone is not configured to remove messages from the server.

Did not work. I've selected iMessage to ON and left it. After a few hours I recieved a message "activation unsuccessful. Turn on iMessage to try again". This has been going on for the past 3 days.

I have an older iPad that we use at my office for Pandora. My iPhone is connected to the same iCloud account as my iPhone is & once in a while my iPad will receive a phone call, not a FaceTime call, from one of my contacts that's trying to call me. It will say the contact's name up at the top like usual, it plays my iPhone ringtone, says "Slide to Answer" but also beneath that it says "from my iPhone." I still receive the phone call on my iPhone but I also receive it on my iPad & I'd obviously like it to stop. Can anybody help me out?

You can do this on the phone and the iPad. Settings>FaceTime>iPhone Cellular Calls>Off.

Same here. We have this call center in our company where after i have added a call to merge i have to push no. 4 and dial from the keypad. This has never been possible in ios but it have been possible to create a contact called "Merge" and add number 4 as it's phone number. Now by merging first my clients call to my collegegue and then to this "Merge" contact it has been dropping me out of line and my client and collegue are merged.
Now ios 7 wont let me call to this "Merge" contact's number "4"

Calls between Skype users are always free of any charge; if your calls require credit (or ask for a subscription), this means you are placing calls to fixed or land lines or mobile numbers, which require credit or a subscription to pay for the call charges.
You do not need to "change" your account; simply add those to whom you wish to call to your Skype contacts list. They will need to create their own Skype accounts in order to do this.
