Updated to IOS 5 and app icons are missing

I upgraded last night and now some of my app icons are missing. If I do a spotlight search and find the app I can then launch the app from there but I would like to have the icon back to use rather than a workaround.

After the IOIS 5.0 update my apps weren't showing on my device until I tabbed thru several screens on the phone. The only other issue was when I did a "restore" to new , not from backup because I was issues with the update (Bugs) Did a update and my apps didn't show until I did a " File" ................Transfer Purchases from Iphone.....with the device connected to ITunes...........then Sync................ Forward and Back Icons Are Missing

I'm not sure what happened, I haven't been messing around with my settings, but perhaps one of my friends was when I wasn't paying attention. The forward and backward icons on the top left of the window are missing. I'd like to get those icon's back, but I'm not sure how.

Right-click where the icons should be and choose 'Customize Toolbar...'. From the drop down sheet you can then drag the back/forward buttons back to where they were.

If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key, that should make the menu bar appear.

After updating my iPhone 4s to iOS6 my app store and iTunes icons are missing

The title says it all! Updated to iOS 6 over wifi and my app icons are gone! Using the search my iPhone feature yields no results!

Look carefully into folder. Otherwise go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. This will reset All icons arrangement on your iPhone.

Can't access photos in camera roll - camera and photo app crashes

Have iphone 4 with iOS 5.0. Took pictures but now I can't access any photo in the Camera Roll. When I now try to take a picture, Camera app crashes. If I try to access the Camera Roll via Photo App, it too crashes. Can't see the photos from iTunes either. Shows it as unknown data. Is there anyway to rebuild the photo library or remove a corrupted photo since I think that is the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

There is no way to view your photos via iCloud.com. Videos are not uploaded.
Photo Stream merely "pushes" the photos to your other devices.

HELP, I synced my iphone and computer and now my apps icons are missing on the screen of my iphone. I can access the apps only through the apps store by pressing OPEN. How do I get the icons back on the screen for the apps?

Make sure your phone is connected to the computer and iTunes is open
1. Visit Instagram.com from your computer web browser
2. Click "Download in the app store"
3. It will download and show up in your iTunes
4. Highlight and sync the app to your iPhone (note: it will not show up on your phone, even after it says syncing is complete).
5. In iTunes, select the Instagram icon and click "Remove" or "Uninstall"
6. Click Accept and Uninstall when it asks you to confirm as it will remove instagram and its data from your iPhone
7. Disconnect the phone from the computer
8. Manually reboot the phone after exiting all apps
9. Upon re-start, you will be able to access the app in the App Store, and install it

My icons are missing from finder and Safari.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Why are my AOL mail and AIM icons suddenly missing. I can still access both by passing my mouse over the area previously occupied by the icons

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10-15 seconds).
No data will be lost.
If these don't work try Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings

Icons are missing on IBar and on Everything launcher sometimes

Hello,
I'm using enlightenment (E17) and I'm happy with it.
However, sometimes application icons are missing on IBar and on Everything launcher:
This happens rarely, maybe once on 10 boots.
I've read this topic. I've evas_generic_loaders installed. But still icons are missing sometimes
Any suggestions what else can I try? Or where can I check what is going wrong (e.g. some logs)?

When connecting to Itunes, it shows the following error: registry settings used by itunes drivers for importing and burning cds are missing. I have installed the gear drivers, uninstalled and installed itunes still showing same error. Anything else?

I have edited the registery, downloaded the Gear drivers, uninstalled and installed itunes, and the error still appears.
What else can I do. Cannot connect any of our iphones or ipods to itunes because of this error.

We'd better have a closer look at the keys to see what's going on.
Can you post a screenshot of the contents of the key you've been editing, please? Include all of the regedit screen, including the left-hand column. Save the screenshot to an image file, and insert the image file in a reply by clicking the wee camera icon at the top of the reply window.
