Camera and Safari gone !!!!!! HELP !!!!!!!!!

I got a IPhone 3GS 16 gig with ISO 4.02 installed the other day. Yesterday while making a call my camera and safari disappeared. I looked in restrictions under general and they are greyed out. I tried to turn them on and they are still greyed out. I did a complete restore and no luck. They both worked fine and I have had no problems at all with them. I use my camera daily for work and safari daily for work and now they are gone SOMEONE HELP !

If the options under restrictions are grayed out, this means restrictions is not enabled.
If you have restrictions enabled and you are unable to turn restrictions off for a selected app, this is different.
If you don't have restrictions enabled, on your iPhone go to Settings > General > Reset and select Reset Home Screen Layout.

For missing icons, these must be somewhere in some folder. if you can't find
Use Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout.

I have lost my photos, safari and camera. My grandson somehow delete camera and safari from phone and when I restored the photo's disappeared. Can anyone help me?

My grandson deleted Safari and camera from my iphone. When trying to restore the icons it deleted all my photos from phone. On top of this the computer I always used crashed and unable to recover them from there. I think I might have saved the them on the icloud but have no clue how to restore from there. Please some one help me!

You can't delete Safari and Camera - the most you can do is to move the icons to a differents screen.
If you have a backup of your iPhone, you can do a Restore from Backup. If you didn't have a backup, I'm afraid they're gone.
For the future:
Alway always always keep a backup, on iTunes (my prefernce) or in iCloud (more convenient for some). There is always a risk to anything that's only on the ihone

N70 camera and photo quality help

I've just bought a Nokia N70 and I have a question that I hope somebody will answer. Is it normal for the photo to loose its quality, to become unclear after you take it and you zoom it? Usually after I take a photo, I go back to the phone gallery and it looks fine in the normal mode, i.e. 100%, but after I zoom it for example 25% or 50% it looks worse, unclear, a poor quality. Is it normal or is something wrong with my phone? Thanks in advance...

The N70 has quite a good camera on it (in good light).
Once you take the picture, the quality of it will not change. When you are taking the picture itself if you zoom in on a subject then the quality of the picture will decrease accordingly. The best quality can be obtained when the camera is not zoomed at all.
There are occasions that I have noticed in the gallery that the picture will look quite pixelated - the cure for this is either to wait for a few moments for the N70's processor to clarify the image or to quit the gallery and go back into it.
If you transfer an unzoomed image off to a PC the quality will be fine.

Lost camera and safari app on 4S

When I had the 3G I lost both apps. When I restored it so I could return it for the 4S, it came back. Now that I did have done the back up on the 4S, they are gone again. Don't want to restore and back up until problem fixed. Has this happened to anyone?

Did you add a corporate Exchange account to the phone? Both of these can be hidden using policies pushed from an Exchange server. If they haven't been moved to another page or folder, or hidden with restrictions, try deleting your Exchange account and see if they come back.
If they do, you have 3 choices.
1) Live with the restriction in order to be able to access your corporate e-mail.
2) Don't use your phone to get to your corporate e-mail.
3) Buy your IT guy a nice bottle of Single Malt Scotch Whisky and ask nicely if they'll consider changing the policy.

Mail and safari gone/cd get stuck

My tiger CD gets stuck I was trying to do an Archive and install. Since I wanted to reinstall the older safari. And as I was doing so once I had the CD put in once it progressed to "languages" And English it got stuck. I hit the arrow as if to continue and it would not budge. Got the CD out by holding the mouse button down. Have cleaned the cd and have done everything cannot get it to go, what should I do. It seems I have lost my Mail app and Safai app. I click on the mail app but nothing happens. Need Help ASAP. Lost my mail. Using Firefox now. What options are there if CD is no good?

Everything was fine . All I was trying to do was reinstall safari from the tiger CD. Everything was fine but when it got to "select language" i hit the arrow and it just froze. Had to eject. Have tried it 4 times. Even with other accounts. It seems safari, Mail. acrobat reader are the only things not working everything else is fine. When i hit on mail it just jumps up but does not open.Safari is nowhere to be found . Could it be an Installer issue or and opening issue. Seems all my mail setting are in the system. I have backed my email address the rest is neither here nor there. Can I reinstall panther or is it bad to go backwards. My Tiger CD I guess is defective or something. GOT ME. Would resetting pram do anything

Button icons from finder and safari gone

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

Looking for some way to convert these kdc files to jpeg or any format that can be read with photoshop elements.
