Camera Calibration list apparently not populated

I'm using the Lightroom 5.7.1 trial. I've imported some images and want to apply the camera profile (camera is a Pentax K-S1, which is supported). In the Develop module, Camera Calibration pane, I see the Profile popup. This popup contains only "Adobe Standard" and "Embedded". Should I be seeing a list of cameras here, or should I be choosing "Adobe Standard" with the profile for my camera being applied automatically?

Adobe creates camera matching profiles primarily for Canon and Nikon cameras. Other brands typically are provided with an Adobe Standard profile. This is a profile designed specifically for the camera that took the image. But other profiles are not provided. When you see Embedded as the profile, you are looking at a non-raw image such as a JPEG or TIF image. Profiles are only provided for raw images. If you shoot JPEG then whatever camera style you choose in your camera settings will be applied to that JPEG image and will be reflected in what you see in Lightroom.

  • Process scheduler server list is not populating in SERVER LIST page.

    Need urgent help.
We have PeopleSoft Campus Solution 8.52,9.0 application. We had two Process Scheduler server one in Linux and one in NT. There was one issue that all the jobs which processed were getting into success and reports were also posted, however it was not updating the database with data. In order to solve it I created a new Process Scheduler server at onther NT machine. This time when I navigated to Process Monitor --> Server List pages it has no data there. I ran COBOL job but it went to successful and report posetd but nothing was updated into the database.
Please help me out of this situation.
    Thanks

Thanks a lot RCC for your response.
    There is actually three issues
1)Process Monitor Server List page has no data.
2)As I go to run a process in the system process request I see that the Server Name,Reccurence,Type and Format are not workin or they are disabled.
3)Cobol jobs which I am running through PSNT is not updating database, however the Process is getting successful and reports are having posted status, but when I go to see Reports it is not having any output file its blank.I tried to check the reports at webserver, there were also no reports were published,However it works properly for all other Process.
For the first problem it has got resolved the solution is in this "Process Monitor Server List Not Populating With Data (Doc ID 615323.1)"( for those who face this problem in future :)).
For your query RCC, I have named same name of PSNT which was earlier in the different machine.

  • Camera Calibration Profiles do not show in Develop Module LR5 / Windows 7

I have selected three specific camera profiles (Nikon D300, Nikon D700 and Canon G12) and placed them into:
    c:\Users\{me}\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles\{Nikon D800}
I restarted Lightroom 5 and viewed a RAW photo (not jpg or tif).
But my Nikon D800 or the other two camera profiles do not show up in the Develop Module Camera Calibration drop down menu, nor in the Presets drop down in the Navigator panel.
    What am I doing wrong?

Yes (to a degree). You can build your own custom DNG camera profiles, that's a good first start. Then you could edit them using the free DNG Profile Editor from Adobe. I'd start with custom profiles for each camera and see if that produces an acceptable match among them.

  • Oracle Forms List Items :not populating list Dynamically using select Query

    Hi ,
I need to create a list item. And the values to be populated in the list are from Database but I'm unable to populate from database.
Please help me out how to populate the values from database.
In Property Pallete we have Elements in List under Functional section , In this we have to manually enter the List values but we can't use any Query to Dynamically populate.
    Thanks,
    Kiran Sanga

When you need to fill a list with the result of a query, you'll have to do it at runtime.
Andreas has a good blogpost about this.

  • My friend list is not populating when attempting to share a track with people.

Like the Subject says, I cannot get my friend list to populate with people I am friends with through Spotify. I cannot share a track with anyone while on my iPhone. I have to get on my PC and share stuff from there. I have logged in and out. I have deleted the app, redownloaded, and still nothing. I have also made sure my settings aren't set to anything weird. Disconnected my Facebook and everything. I don't know what else I can do.
    Suggestions?

  • Camera Calibration settings????

When I am in develop mode, and I scroll down to camera calibration tab,I usally leave it set to Abode Standard.
If I change this setting to ...Camera Standard,,I see that the hitogram changes slightly ,and the image appears sharper, with a slight increase in saturation.
Can I assume that Lightroom can detect my camera{Canon 5DII } settings, and, am I getting an assigned profile?? specically for my 5DII?
Any help/advise would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

    Mike,
I've suggested Adobe put Camera Profile at the top of the right-hand develop panel - as a non-collapsible ever-present setting, since its so important and frequently missed. Even after years of experience I occasionally spend several minutes editing before I realize the Camera Calibration profile is not what I want, and then start over...
In any case, I definitely think a learning resource is a good idea when first starting out. Not everything in Lightroom is obvious...
The forum is great, but also consider a book or web resource if you are really green - and dont forget Lightroom Help.

  • Camera calibration - specific camera models not listed

I'm an amateur moving up to LR 3 and have been trying to learn this program by reading the LR3 book by Scott Kelby. He shows that the Camera Calibration feature has some settings for specific cameras yet the drop down menu has none listed. I've upgraded to 3.6 and the images were copied from raw to DNG. Wondering if I'm doing something wrong??

You can find camera profiles for Sony models here:
    http://www.piraccini.net/2011/02/profili-colore-sony-a900-per-adobe-lr.html
But please note this excerpt from his site:
"The standard profiles are accurate only for the A700, the A850, the A900, the NEX-3 and the NEX-5 (where I've photographed the color table with the corresponding camera), for the other cameras I've just used the best matching one."

  • LR2.1 Not Showing Camera Profiles List

I'm probably misunderstanding something here, but I've checked the installation instructions and the faq and can't figure out what.
I'm using Win XP Pro SP2 and LR2.1 (the just released final version). I've downloaded and installed (automatically, by running the .exe) (cameraprofiles_b2_win_102208.exe) the camera profiles.
I use a Leica M8 (which provides .dng raw files) and a Canon 5D (which provides .cr2 raw files).
I understand from what I've read that I should be able to go to the camera calibration panel in LR 2.1 and get a list of cameras to pick from,
    but I don't.
When I open a Leica raw image I get these choices under camera calibration:
    ACR 4.4
    ACR 3.6
    Adobe Standard beta 2
    Camera Standard beta 2
Opening a Canon image gives me a longer list of choices:
    ACR 4.4
    ACR 3.3
    Adobe Standard beta 2
    Camera Faithful beta 2
    Camera Landscape beta 2
    Camera Neutral beta 2
    Camera Portrait beta 2
    Camera Standard beta 2
Is LR somehow automatically recognizing which camera shot the image and assuming I don't need to be bothered with a list of possible cameras to choose from?
Any help on what I'm missing will be appreciated.

    >I understand from what I've read that I should be able to go to the camera calibration panel in LR 2.1 and get a list of cameras to pick from, but I don't.
No, you get a list of camera profiles, not cameras. The list only shows profiles that are made for your camera model.

  • Camera Raw 5.5 will not install?  And Camera calibration button question.

I just built a new computer with 7 PRO and installed all my software. So when it comes time to instal 5.5 raw it goes about half way through and tells me to shut off Bridge.  As far as I know the bridge window and program are off and not running.  I even unpined it off the taskbar.
In CS4 when opening a Raw file and I go to my camera calibration botton there are only two options that come up, Arc 3.3 and 4.4. Where are all the other options at?  Do they come with the 5.5 update?  Thanks Keig

Odds are you've got Bridge set to auto-launch at startup...make sure it's not running when you try to install the update.,.and yes, the update should install the addition DNG Profile options.

  • Camera Calibration profiles not showing

On Vista Business SP1, only ACR 4.4 and ACR 4.2 show in the Camera Calibration tab, in both ACR 5.3 and Lightroom 2.3.
    Both
    C:\ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles\Camera
    and
    C:\ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles\Adobe Standard
are present, with entries for my Canon 40D. The profiles were showing in earlier (beta) versions of ACR and Lightroom, and, I think, in the latest version, but now are not showing.
    Thanks for any help.
    Dan Dill

Somehow my install must have gotten munged.
I just reinstalled PS (and so Bridge and ACR) from the CS4 distribution, applied the related updates, and now the camera profile show properly in ACR 5.3 and LR 2.3.
I should say, the reinstall and update process went without a hitch, for which I am grateful.

  • X-rite colorchecker passport profile created but does not appear in the  Camera Calibration tab!

I have installed x-rite colorchecker passport and lightroom 5.0. I followed the tutorial in setting up my camera profile and lightroom reported created successfully. However after restarting Lightroom, I could not find my created profile other than the Adobe Standard in the Camera Calibration tab.
    Please help !

X-Rite has a free DNG Profile Manager that can be downlaoded after registering your ColorChecker Passport here:
    http://www.xritephoto.com/ph_registration.aspx
You will be offered a link to download the free app. See if the profile you created is visible with the app.
Here's where the user camera profiles should be located with LR5:
    Windows—C: \ Users \ [your username] \ AppData \ Roaming \ Adobe \ CameraRaw \ CameraProfiles \
    Mac—Macintosh HD / Users / [your username] / Library / Application Support / Adobe / CameraRaw / CameraProfiles /
Profiles are camera model specific so a Canon 600D camera profile will only be visible when a 600D raw image file is selected. You need to create profiles for each camera model separately.

  • ACR 3.7 not available in the Camera Calibration Profile

On a Mac G5 in the Develop module>Camera Calibration panel the only Profile that shows up is ACR 3.6. I have Camera Raw 3.7 installed in Library>Application Support>Adobe> Plug-Ins>CS2>File Formats>Camera Raw.plugin.
I have a new camera that is supported only by 3.7. Any ideas why this isn't available in the menu?

Yes. Because that only tells you WHEN your camera were profiled.
I think mine say 2.4 or something like that.
If your camera has been reprofiled you may have the option to use a older version in that menu.
For the record, LR doesn't care if you upgrade Camera Raw or not. LR is somewhat based on Camera Raw but is a completely separate app.

  • Camera Profiles in Camera Calibration do not reproduce JPG look

I shoot on my Nikon D700 in "RAW + FINE" mode, which means that for each picture the camera records two images: a RAW file, as well as a high-resolution JPG file.
As is well known, RAW files often look washed out, since they don't have any of the extra saturation and sharpening settings applied that the camera automatically applies to JPGs.
Camera Calibration / Camera Profiles is supposed to solve this problem by applying some of those standard JPG enhancements to RAW files. However, no matter which Camera Profile I choose (there are about 10 different ones shown in the Lightroom dropdown), none of them look like the JPG. The "Camera Neutral" profile comes the closest. But even this profile makes the RAW image look less saturated than the corresponding JPG.
How can I reproduce the JPG look EXACTLY? The Camera Profiles give me an approximation at best, but it still does not come close to the JPG look.

I don't think this is a true statement.
Camera Raw does not and cannot not know what settings you had in your camera that affect the JPG ... things like high contrast, high saturation, etc.
How can I reproduce the JPG look EXACTLY? The Camera Profiles give me an approximation at best, but it still does not come close to the JPG look.
The point of shooting RAW is not to reproduce that JPG look. The point of shooting RAW is to give you more control over the final appearance than you can get from shooting JPG (in other words, you might get processed photos that look nicer than the JPG). If you want to spend your time trying to reproduce that JPG look in your RAW photos, you will spend a lot of time and get very frustrated and not have that much success.
If you want that JPG look, use your JPGs. It's a lot simpler and faster.

  • Data is not populated in List based on custom Query

    Hi
I want to query the BO and display only certain instances in a advanced ListPane based on a query condition. But when i bind the custom query to the advanced list pane no data is displayed.
    1. Created a Bo PersistForcastBo.
    2. In Ti screen of PersistForcastBo add a tab QUALIFICATIONS.
    3. Two Advanced List Panes are created in QUALIFICATIONS tab
4.fields of second advancedlist pane are bound to respective fields of Bo.
5.Also an absl action script I created which displays data in the advanced listpane on click of QUALIFICATIONS tab.
6.created a SADL Query in the controller and added the fields required for selection.
6.also created condition in the selected parameter
    6. In AdvancedListPane added the default set created., but after the querying the Bo data doesnt display in AdvancedlistPane
Can Anyone Please suggest a solution to this.
    Regards

    hi  Fred,
On click of QUALIFICATIONS tab , Eventhandler gets called . In the eventhandler a Bo action is called first which is a absl script- displayforecast, to get all the data . The data in the list pane is populated due to this script. But when i created the query and binded the default set to the listpane the data is not populated
the Eventhandler is called on Click of Qualifations Tab, first action gets called and then eventhandler  that executes defaultset is fired . This eventhandler is the handler created when query->defaultset is created
but after firing this query no data is displayed.

  • I bought an album and not all the songs came up listed under the artist name.  They came up as separate songs and not as part of an album.  How do I fix this?

I bought an album and not all the songs came up listed under the artist name.  They came up as separate songs and not as part of an album.  How do I fix this?

    Hello pjmelli921,
You have to locate the album in itunes. Highlight each track, hold the ctrl button and left click each one.
Do a right-click on the highlighted blue, select get info, say yes to editing multiple tracks.
Hit the options tab, change "part of a compliation" to yes, select ok on the bottom right.
Resync ipod. This should fix it on your ipod after the resync.
    Hope this helps.
