Camera Flash Comes on and won't go off HELP!!!!!!!!

The only way to turn the light off is to pull the battery.
I've searched and haven't found any solutions. Blackberry hasn't responded to any posts about this problem that I can find.
My company has all BB Style phones and will be switching from BB if this problem can not be addressed.
All our phones are have this problem.

The flash can be toggled on and off by pressing the space bar. This might not help the problem of the flash coming on, but if it works for you atleast you'll be able to turn it off quite easily.

Place iPhone on Wall Charger for at least 10 minutes. Then keep on charger and Reset, hold both home and power buttons until the iPhone begins to start, this can take about 20 seconds of holding both buttons while on charger. If still problem, open iTunes 10.7 on computer, connect iPhone to computer with USB Cable, hold both home and power buttons for about 20 seconds until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode, then click Restore button of iTunes. If still problem, try DFU Mode Restore, here are the steps. Open iTunes on computer. Connect iPhone to computer with USB cable. DFU Mode is a black, blank screen with iTunes saying Recovery Mode. If still problem and there is Warranty or AppleCare make Genius reservation and take to Apple for resolution.

I'm keeping it connected to the charger so it doesn't go dead. Is there anything I can do to resurrect my pod?

To get out of disk mode do a iPod Hard Reset.
Toggle the Hold switch till you dont see the red mark.
Press Menu and Center buttons simultaneously for about 10 secs till the Apple logo comes ON then release the buttons
Select your preferred language.

The same thing happens to me, Safari asks me to update the Adobe FlasPlayer, I download, start the installation process, ask me my username and password in order to install, then see a window where I choose if I want to always install the updates , or ask first, or not inslate updates, and at this point it is not progress, I can not cancel the process, I turn off and turn on my machine.
What can I do ..??

Semi-experienced user - Western New York.
System was operating nominally until I opened it from 'sleep' mode after ~1 hour of inactivity.
No idea what's going on. I had just installed a Flash Player update [not an atypical occurrence] at ~6:00 PM this evening, but used the system without incident after that. Re-Start attempt does not appear to succeed, the circular pre-OS icon never clears and displays the authorization screen.
Anyone with an idea how to help would be greatly appreciated. We have so much personal and business data on this machine!!!

Press and hold the power button for a few seconds until the power shuts off, then release, wait a few more seconds, and press it again briefly to restart.
The fact that you're worried about the data implies that you have no backups, or that you don't have confidence in your backups. Your first priority must be to back up all the data you intend to keep. Ask if you need guidance.

It does not specifically address this particular issue per se. Rebooting/resetting the iPad is a basic troubleshooting tip that covers a whole multitudes of little issues in iOS devices.

How long will what take? You should leave the phone in rice for at least 4-5 days. At that point, plug the phone in and let it charge for about 15 minutes and see if it turns on. Accept the fact your phone will probably never work properly again.

5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad
