    Let's see if we can get your issue resolved. Before I can do that though I'll need to know what computer you have and if it has an internal webcam or an external webcam.
    Where are you posting pictures to?
    You said now, so am I wrong to assume that it used to work?
    What operating system does your computer run?
    Does the webcam work for video, but not stills or does video not work as well?

  • Camera looks grainy

    Camera looks grainy when viewing/taking pics with iPad, but when I pull photos from cloud on another device, they look and print fine.  Ideas!?

    There are several (hundred?) apps that can help the pic look better by adding more light to pics you have already taken. photoshop and camera flash come to mind. There are many more.

  • Camera has suddenly started displaying white screen after I take a picture.

    My camera has worked great up until this week.
    I can see the image through the camera but after I take the picture my screen goes solid white.
    I no longer see the options to Send, etc on the screen.
    When I view pictures, when I open it I only see a red X in the upper left corner of the screen in a square.

    Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.

  • Multicam where each camera has a set of 4GB clips.

    Hi,  I have 2 cameras and shot a 1.3 houre talk.  Eatch camera has generated a set of 4GB files that whne played one after another give a uninterupted shot (i.e. eatch camera has 3 files).  How should I do mulicam this.  Do I create a sequence for eatch camera then multical the sequence?

    Best practice with the multi-part clips is this - copy entire contents of memory card to hard drive, then in Premiere, use the Media Browser to import your clips. Premiere will treat the multiple parts as one long clip then when imported. This should make it easier to use Multicam and also has the benefit of avoiding glitches between the shorter segments.

  • Unfortunately camera has stopped error

    I installed android lolypop few days ago. and from that day randomly when i open camera app sometimes it works fine and some times i get error unfortunately camera has stoped. i tried all kinds of reset hard reset soft. everything. factory reset. but nothing worked...
    camera wil work fine for few hours. then all of sudden i open camera app and wil get this message
    How i can fix it.. its not only on my phone. we have 3 s5 phones and all have same problem
    and when i restart my phone. same camera wil be working fine..
    i am tired of this error

    If you go to the settings, then to Applications, you can use the application manager to clear the cache and data from the camera application, which will reset the app itself to default (your pictures are stored in the Gallery app). I've seen it fix the force closing with the camera on that device after the update.

  • Lumia 822 camera has greenish tint indoors

    My Nokia Lumia 822 camera has a greenish tint when used indoors.  Outside seems OK.  I heard a fix was coming but every time I click on Phone Update, it says my phone is up to date.  Any info on when I can expect a fix?

    I have a 822 the next day after purchasing it went solid green. I did the power cycle and it went away. However, every single picture I take has a green line on the boarder on one side and green tint. This has to be know to Nokia and a fix needs to be issued soon. Otherwise sales representatives aren't going to push their products. I know I'm the one doing the demo for my company to determine whichever win8 mobile handset we go with. So I will have to point this out in my review if not corrected. So Nokia lets fix this asap please. This is the one I want to recommend, not the competition.
    This is last week of march. February has come and gone. Where is the fix? Too many people noting these green problems on new equipment to be offered refurbs spells class action suit brewing down the road. If it is a code fix do it. If hardware do cross replacements with "NEW" unopened units. Leaving and ignoring leads to disaster in cost and reputations. Spend now,fix. Side step now,disaster later.

    the blue light is beside the web cam, on the top of screen. But this light is on when I try to use the web cam in anywhere, like Skype, Msn or even in programs in the computer that only take a pictue or make a video of you, without ineternet (I do not know the name of this program). But it seems that computer and the programs recognize the web cam, because there is no messages when I turn on the web cam.
    In Skype settings is the same, there is nothing wrong, there is no different message. The only thing is when I try to take picture a message appears: "failed", but the video seems to record normally, although everythng is black.
    Could you understand what I meant?

    My Z1 Compact camera has stopped working - I used it yesterday with no problem, but today tried to launch it today and now get a message saying "Unfortunately camera has stopped". no other camera apps work either so it must be the main camera app
    Searches have made me try the following already, none of which have worked:
    disabled camera app and then enabled
    cleared camera cache
    safe mode restart
    factory reset
    reinstall phone software using pc companion
    deleted both internal and sd card dcim folders in case images were corrupt
    There no reason why it would suddenly stop - I haven't dropped it or done anything to damage it.
    Hope that switching it off overnight might help but is there anything else I should try before attempting to return under warranty?

  • My built in camera has stopped working since Skype...

    Since recent Skype updates the camera has stopped working - but it works in other applications. I am running on Windows 7 - do I need to uninstall and load n older version - anyone else suffering these problems?

    You didn't state what camera you are using. There have been some issues with Dell XPS models. If that is the case, the problem has not been resolved as of yet. You can try downgrading to an older release to see if the camera works once again.
    You have two options to try to resolve this:
    1. Try 3rd party software like manycam (manycam.com). See if your camera works in the manycam software. If it does, select the manycam virtual driver in Skype and see if your camera still operates with the latest release. If you go this route be sure to do a custom install to install only the main program.
    2. Your other option would be to revert/downgrade to a prior release or a version that exists to address video/camera compatibility issues like the Skype special version:

    Depending on which versions work may determine if the compatibility issue was introduced in the newest versions or if you camera is not compatible with the new way video is rendered (Skype 6.2 and above).

    Here are my best suggestions for your camera problem, Stephen:
    •  If you have not already done so, shut down Mac, restart,
        and try again.  If the camera still does not work, continue.
    • Try ALL relevant suggestions from Apple's Troubleshooting

    (Apple has changed the built-in camera's name on newer Macs from "iSight" to "FaceTime" and then to "FaceTime HD."  Regardless of the name of your Mac's built-in camera, the same info and troubleshooting applies.)
       If you need to use the "reset" suggestion, use the correct reset for your Mac.
    • Use your Mac's Disk Utility to repair permissions and then
       download and apply the latest Combo Update.  For your Mac OS,
       the current version is at http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1640
    • Repair permissions again immediately following the system restart
       that completes the Combo update.
    Properly applying the Combo version of updates can sometimes correct software problems, but, if your trouble is caused by a hardware problem, there are no user serviceable parts of the camera.
    • If nothing else resolves your problem, yours is likely a hardware issue.
       Unless you have a current backup, make one now.
    Then use the final "Troubleshooting" suggestion:
    "... contact Apple or an Apple-Authorized Service Provider for service."

  • HT4972 why won't my phone "restore"?  I downloaded ios 5 and did not unplug my iphone.  Toward the end it said error occurred, then said iphone cannot be restored.  Now it has a pic of itunes and won't do anything.  I can't even make a call, or get email.

    Just tried to download iOs 5 on my iphone 3G and now it says "can't restore" iphone.  I just has a pic of itunes.  Won't do anything even after hard shutdown.

    The iPhone 3G does not support iOS5. The only way you could get iTunes to download that particular iOS is if you were attempting  a hack. The lastest firmware for the 3G and the last one that it supports is 4.2.1.
