impossible de trouver une solution.
La camera Isight intégrée à mon iMac à juste... Disparue.
Inutilisable, qu'importe le programme, Introuvable.
Des idées ?

•  If you have not already done so, restart Mac and
    try again.  If the iSight still does not work, continue.
• If Apple's http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2090
   suggestions do not help you, (are you certain that you
   used the correct "reset" procedure?), yours is most likely a
   hardware problem that will require a professional fix.
   Unless you have a current backup, make one now.
  Then use the final "Troubleshooting" suggestion:
"... contact Apple or an Apple-Authorized Service Provider for service."
• If you want to try one more thing on your own first,
  use Disk Utility to repair permissions.  Then
  download and apply the latest Combo Update for
  your OS.  Currently, the latest SL Combo is here:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1399
• Repair permissions again immediately following the system restart
   that completes the Combo update.
Properly applying the Combo version of updates can sometimes correct software problems, but, if your trouble is caused by a hardware problem, there are no user serviceable parts of iSight.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ J'essaie d'écrire en français ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
• Si vous ne l'avez pas déjà fait, redémarrez Mac et essayez de nouveau. Si la webcam iSight intégrée ne fonctionne toujours pas, continuez.
• Si Apple's http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2090 ne vous aide pas, (êtes-vous certain que vous avez utilisé la corriger "SMC reset" procédure? ), vôtre est plus probablement d'un problème matériel, il faudra fixer un professionnel. Sauf si vous disposez d'une sauvegarde, faire un maintenant.
Sauf si vous disposez d'une sauvegarde, faire un maintenant.
Utilisez ensuite la dernière " Dépannage " suggestion
" ... contactez Apple ou à un fournisseur de service pour le service Apple-Authorized."
• Si vous voulez essayer une autre chose sur votre propre premier, utiliser l'utilitaire de disque pour réparer les autorisations.
Puis télécharger et appliquer la mise à jour pour votre système d'exploitation plus tard Combo .
Actuellement, la dernière SL combo est ici : http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1399
• réparation des autorisations de nouveau immédiatement après le redémarrage du système qui complète le combo update.
Appliquant correctement les Combo version de mises à jour peuvent parfois corriger problèmes de logiciel, mais, si votre problème est causé par un problème matériel, il n'y a pas de pièces réparables par l'utilisateur iSight.
    The basic answer is that Apple has not programmed the capture routine with this capability. As such, you can always send QT feedback requesting this feature be added as a future enhancement.
  • My camera/iSight is apparently disabled--can't use Skype or Photo Booth. How can I fix this?
    I went to Apps/Utilities/System Profiler/USB and do not see camera listed. Based on an earlier found on Support Communities info, I tried shutting down, holding control-option-command and power button, letting go, then powering on again. No luck. Any ideas appreciated.
    Check out the following thread:
    my isight camera is not working-not recognised with photo booth or ichat
    ===========
    To fix your iSight, shut down computer. Reboot in safe mode (press power button and then hold shift key down). After computer boots, restart again.  Hopefully, your iSight will start working again.
  • Built-in Camera (iSight?) works on Skype but not Photo Booth
    I have OSX 10.5.8.  In the past, I was able to use PhotoBooth, but now when I open it, all options to take a photo are grayed out. The screen, where, I believe, previously I'd seen whatever was in the built-in camera's lens (generally whatever I put in front of the screen to photograph), I now see all black with a white camera icon crossed out.  Skype works fine though.  When I try to load iChat, it crashes unexpectedly.  For clarification, I'm using the built-in cam and do not have external camera hooked up to it.  I don't really care about iChat, which I never use, and am very, very glad that Skype, which I do use, is working.  However, I would very much like to get PhotoBooth working.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance to any kind soul who responds.  I will be very grateful to resolve this.
    (1) If restarting Mac does not resolve your problem,
    (2) backup your Mac or, at least, its important files.
    Then use Disk Utility to repair permissions.  Then download and install the 10.5.8 Combo Update.
          http://support.apple.com/kb/DL866
    Repair permissions again immediately following the system restart that completes the Combo update.
    Properly applying the Combo version of updates can sometimes correct software problems.
    (3) If the problem persists, reinstall OS X from your Leopard disk.  Then repair permissions, apply the Combo Update, and repair permissions again.
    One of the above should get Photo Booth working again.
  • I have a Macbook Pro (w/built-in camera) that I use with a cinema display (with no camera) - can I use an iSight?
    I'm running 10.6.8 on a 2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Macbook Pro. The laptop has a built-in camera in the frame, but I want to do Skype and such when I've got the laptop plugged into my 23" Cinema Display. Trouble is it's an older Cinema Display, and it doesn't have a built-in camera.
    If I buy an external camera (iSight or whatever), can I configure it to function as my video-conference camera when the laptop is closed and connected to the Cinema Display? If so, how?
    Thanks for any answers.
    Check YouTube's "How To" tutorials for what you want to do.  Hopefully, it's possible.
    Another thing you can do is to check with the webcam's manufacturer (the webcam you are interested in purchasing) to confirm it will do what you want.
    I am getting vertical lines when trying to use my rear camera/iSight camera on my ipad mini.
    Is there any way to fix this, or do i need to take it in?
    How to test your external iSight to ensure it is functional
    If your iSight works properly on other Macs when using the same connectors and/or cables, your mini's video card may need service by an authorized technician.  However, if the video card is the cause, I would think that you would notice the problems in apps other than FaceTime or photo booth, too.
    If the problem turns out to be the iSight itself, you might find having your old external iSight repaired to be more costly than buying a new Mac-compatible webcam.  If your local retailer cannot help you, select a compatible camera from the alternatives listed in http://www.mac-compatible-web-cam.com/.  Which you buy will depend on your budget and the camera feature you want.  I suggest USB cameras to avoid Firewire's adapter requirements for recent Macs as well as Possible Hardware or Software Conflicts.
  • Macbook Air (mid-2011) Facetime HD Camera stops working after waking from sleep
    Hi, for the past week or so (no more than a week), my computer has not been able to connect to my built-in camera. I have a mid-2011 Macbook Air (running version 10.7.5) and a Facetime HD Camera (version 6.46). I don't usually restart my computer unless I am having issues with it being slow or freezing and so usually just close the top of my laptop when I am sleeping or at work. When I wake my computer up and attempt to use Skype, Photobooth, or Facetime, I cannot connect to the camera. Restarting my computer fixes this issue but that's as far as I've gotten since I am not very tech savvy and do not want to do anything to jeopardize the data and documents stored on my Air (I'm in school so losing anything would be very stressful for me). I have gone into the System Information in my Utilities folder and my camera is listed under the USB tab but my computer refuses to connect unless I restart it.
    Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
  • Isight + Tiger No longer works
    Since I have upgraded to Tiger my Isight no longer works. I can start a chat but after about 10 to 40 seconds it disconnects me. I have taken it in for repair and they all tell me it is fine. If I go to preferences, video, I can see myself, I also have the following which I never had before:
    Microphone - Isight built in
    Band with - None
    I have played with these options but I still get disconnected. I used to have an option Camera - Isight I no longer have that option but I still see myself.
    Can anyone tell me how to fix this? So far I'm stumped and even the repair person can't figure it out.
    Thanks,
  • New MacBook Air I5 camera not working because of flash?
    I bought a new macbook air I5 13" last night at best buy.  This is not my first macbook.  However, I can't get the built in camera isight / facetime to work with web based sites.  I've logged in and out of different profiles.  Installed/Uninstalled flash several times.  Already reset the macbook.  Done everything that I can find online about fixing this issue and not having any luck.  I've spent most of the day reading and browsing this issue.  Any help would be greatly appreicatied.
    If your webcam doesn't work with Apple apps either, take MBA back to best buy and ask them whether it can be exchanged or repaired.  Do this ASAP.
    If your ONLY problem is with flash based web sites, see if any of the suggestions here help you: http://discussions.apple.com/message/17214189#17214189
  • Macbook pro, isight, imovie problem
    im trying to use imovie to record video off my builtin isight camera. If i shart imovie, and select the magic movie option then my isight starts up and i can see the image on the screen, but there is a dialogue box open on the right hand side of the imovie screen that says 'searching for dv camera' this dialogue box searches for about 30 seconds and then claims no video device could be found!!!!! If i then click on ok, my isight turns off and i am left with a bland imovie screen. Very annoying. All my SMC and Firmware is fully up to date, All application upgrades installed. And i have no other programs open that use the isight camera. isight works fine in all other applications. Any suggestions?
    Thanks
    I just got a new imac with built in isight and am trying to learn how to record from isight too. I tried doing this with ichat open and it said there was no connection. I closed ichat and used the following directions and it worked.
    The directions sound like it is for the external isight but the switch in the diagram is in the lower left of the imovie screen. Open imovie and try these directions:
    To capture live video from an iSight camera:
    Open the privacy shutter on your iSight. (For the external isight)
    Click the mode switch to set iMovie HD to camera mode (Lower left of imovie screen, not on camera).
    Click the camera icon to the left of the mode switch and choose iSight from the pop-up menu. (Make sure ichat is closed)
    Click the Record With iSight button at the bottom of the iMovie monitor.
    The video you see in the iMovie monitor is recorded as a clip in the Clips pane.
    Click Record With iSight again to stop recording.
    Click Record With iSight again to stop recording.
  • How to record with en external mic instead of built-in in iSight
    Hi,
    I just want to record simple videos with the webb cam iSight. I want the audio to sound better and use an external mic during the recording.
    After testing I see that iMove uses only the built-in mic, there is no difference if I connect the external mic to the computer with USB or 3,5mm blug mic.
    How can change that iMovie would use the external mic instead of built-in?
    The audio sounds really bad I want to sound better with the mic. For sure now in iMovie 11 there's an equalizer which makes a difference but I still can't make the sound more "close", it sounds more like eco.
    Any audio tips?
    irinla wrote:
    Your built-in iSight is only a camera. It has no mic of its own, so you started with your Mac's built-in mic.
    iMovie lets you select among connected mics in the "Voiceover" pane as shown here:
    When you click on the "Voiceover" choices bar, you will be able to select among all mics available to your system. (The only reason that this picture shows "iSight" as the "Record from:" mic is that I captured the image while using an external iSight, which does have its own built-in mic.)
    (1) Like you, I use the Logitech USB Desktop mic for my voiceovers. It offers sound good enough for me at a price I can afford.
    (2) Note that other apps that allow you to select various audio sources each have their own way of doing so. For instance, FaceTime changes mics with a FaceTime > Video menu command as shown here:
    You can also record A/V in Snow Leopard's QuickTime Player, which lets you select mics in its "Preferences..." as shown here:
    (3) The Help menu of any Mac app that lets you select among various sources may give info on how that particular app lets you select which microphone you use.
    (1) No. What you see is normal for Mac OS X.
      Neither "USB" nor "iSight or Camera folder" should be in your "Utilities folder in Apps folder."
    (2) Your Utilities folder does contain a " System Profiler " iCon. Double click it.
    Your System Profiler utility will open.
    Click "USB" in the column of items under "Hardware" in the "Contents" column at the left side of the System Profiler window.
    "USB Device Tree" pane will open immediately to the right of the "Contents" column.
    Click on each of the USB items in the "USB Device Tree" as necessary until you find your "Built-in iSight."
    If your iSight does not show under any of the USB items, your built-in iSight is not recognized by your Mac, and your Mac needs service.
    Welcome to Discussions, AEB26
    For this, or any other, iSight trouble, start with http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2090
    If your iSight problem occurs in more than one app and more than one user account, the reset suggested there often restores proper function of inbuilt iSight.
    However, if after carefully following all the suggestions in the "How to Troubleshoot iSight" article, your built-in iSight still does not work, and if it does not show as a USB device in your Mac's System Profiler, yours is most likely a hardware problem. In that case, contact Apple or an Apple-Authorized Service Provider for service.
