My device is xperia z1.I have quite few scratches on its rear camera,due to which picture captured seems blurr.I wan't to kw if it is possible to replace camera lens cover?

Camera lens cover broken

hi all, i had my n900 for a while now.camera lens cover(top part) has peeled off from its glue and the wire makes the cover open and close came loose by itself. i have the warranty but i do not want to send my phone just for the cover for 2 weeks. is there any place on web that i can order the lens cover only and replace it my self. its very east to remove since its plastic base.i only have the blue base on the phone now and it is loose so its keep opening the camera mode. very annoying. please help.

Take it to a store (Nokia or network) and ask if you can just have the back panel replaced. Or, try to find one online. Markets usually sell the covers too

Disable N97 camera lens cover dragging turns camer...

Is there any way to disable that dragging the small camera lens cover turns on/off the camera? if that option doesn't exist (I guess it because I searched for it long wise) is a big fail in N97!

Camera lens cover is cracked

The lens cover on my S4 is cracked. I need to get it replaced because the camera will not focus or work right without it. Does verizon do repairs like this?
Would it be a warranty job (have it less than a year)? Can I replace it myself without risking (removed) it up?

Contact Samsung for warranty work. Weither it is free or not or what the deductible will be can only be answered by them. As far as I know verizion does not repair phones. Repairing it yourself is a risky move and that would cancel and warranty you have left. Also you have no idea if there is any damage behind the lens or if the lens and camera have to be calibrated. Best leave this type of work to the experts.

N97 camera (lens cover and application issues)

i think these issues are already posted, but no solution as yet.
like everyone i was having scratches near the lens, so i removed the lens cover.
now my camera application doesnt work. i am on v12.
the camera application freezes, ive resintalled the firmware, reseted factory settings, everything !
no luck with starting the camera application.
ps, i even tried attaching the lens cover back, that didnt help either.
any solutions nokia ????

first of this is a user to user forum. second you voided your warranty by disassembly of your phone. anything to do with disassembly can't really be talked about here as it is against the policy of this forum. camera operation in the case of the n97 is dependent on the lens cover as it communicates to the application what needs to happen. removing it breaks that path of communication. i am sorry but i have no other ideas for you, taking it to nokia care might be your solution but you also might need to pay for repairs due to what you have done on your own to your phone.

Lint behind camera lens cover

My new iPhone 5 has two distinct pieces of lint behind the camera lens protector. Has anyone else noticed this issue? I noticed right away when i took it out of the box. I tried to clean it, it's definately not on the outside nor is it a scratch.

N900 camera lens cover stuck

I don't know if I'm on the right forum topic.
My N900 lens cover stuck halfway open. I was taking pictures and I was closing it felt sticky and now stuck.
Is this covered by warranty? If not where can i get one and how much?
Is ther a way to fix this? I don't want to take this around without a back cover.

Open the back cover and try and remove if any dirt of thread is making it like that.

Strange noise near camera lens

I recently got an iPod touch 5th gen for Christmas. Everything works fine except for the fact that if I tap it lightly on my hand on the top area near the camera, it makes a rattling noise, as if the camera lens cover is loose. Is this supposed to happen? Thanks for all your help

On the 5G iPod and iPhone 5 the rear camera lens moves to focus and is light suspended so it can move.The noise you hear is the lens moving. It is normal and expected.

HTC One lens cover is thin, fragile glass

On the 15th day of ownership, I discovered that the HTC One build quality isn't all that great when I discovered that the camera lens cover is very thin, extremely fragile and cheap glass that cracks very, very easily. Neither VZ or HTC will fix it without making you give up your phone for weeks on end and paying a huge fee (more than the cost of the phone). BEWARE.

No, not correct. Not even close to being correct. Thinness doesn't necessarily mean better clarity. HTC could have used thicker material that would have been much more durable without compromising clarity. And, as I have discovered, it's not even glass. It's plastic, which easily scratches and cracks.
Also, as I stated, it won't be easy to replace because the HTC One glass cover is not easy to find. I'd have to resort to one that is the right diameter, but thicker (the HTC One X), and would not sit flush with the phone case.
Ferraris and Lambos don't fall apart during the ordinary course of normal use. This phone does, apparently, since it is in a case, I have never dropped it and I handle it with care (though not enough, apparently, since it's fragile like an eggshell) and it is still falling apart after less than 3 weeks.
