Camera no longer available on lock screen

Hi
I updated my iPhone yesterday and the camera was available immediately I turned the camera on. Today it's not there and I have to tripple click to get it. Is there a way to keep it there or a reason I now have to tripple click. The tripple click is a pointless waste of time and slows down access to the camera, partially defeating the object of putting it there in the first place. It also massively increases wear on the home button.

Cheers guys... Note that the behaviour is random. Sometimes when the lock screen is first displayed the camera shortcut is there, other times it isn't (
Also note that the marketing claims the camera to be instantly accessible, I guote :
Access from Lock screen
Open the Camera app with one tap.
Not a double click or a single click ;op

IOS 8.0.2 camera not available from lock screen

iPhone 6, upgraded to iOS 8.0.2 last night. Now at the lock screen, the camera icon is there but you cannot scroll up to activate it.

It works for me with iOS 8.0.2.
As this shows (from the iPhone User Manual), you could also use Control Center.

Pro Camera requires password entry on lock screen

Of course, as soon as it was available on my Lumia 925, I set the Nokia Pro Camera as the default app to launch when the camera button is pressed. I noticed though, that when the phone is locked, the Pro Camera app won't launch unless I enter the lock screen password. The default camera app did not require this, instead allowing you to take new pictures. Having to enter the password can be a spontaneity killer when the right shot presents itself.
Is this a 'feature' of Pro Camera, or is there some setting where I can change this behavior? If it is indeed a 'feature', please consider allowing access to the app without having to enter the lock screen password, just like the default camera app does.

Hi,
Unfortunately, there is no way to change this behaviour as of now. This is very frustrating and limits the startup time of ProCamera app, which can lead to some precious moments from getting missed!
I think this is a limitation of Windows Phone OS.

Camera won't launch from lock screen.

With IOS 5, the camera should be available on the lock screen. It was only there once for a minute and hasn't been back since. Is there a setting for that? I have the iPhone 4.

Iphone 5 / iOS 6.0 bug: Video sound no longer playing in lock screen

Hi,
With my iPhone 4 I was able to listen so the sound of a video, even if I went to the lock screen. With my iPhone 5 and iOS 6.0 this is no longer possible. When I start e.g., a music video in the video app and
then go to the lock screen, the video an sounds stops. A double click on the home button shows the play button, but if pressed, the sound of the video won't play. If I press the forward / rewind button, a track of the music player will start to play. With previous versions listening to videos was possible while being on the lock screen / screen was turned off. Is there a fix for this bug? Has anyone the same problems? Would be great to listen to my music videos again...

I'm having the same problem. Incredibly frustrating as this was a major use of the iphone when I had IOS5.

Camera button not working from locked screen.

Recently I tried to take a photo from my locked screen. Usually I just double click my home button and the camera pops right up and I can take a picture. This time though, the camera icon does pop up, but when I go to click it the camera icon just "jumps" and will not open the camera option. It's very annoying for when I just want to take a picture, now I have to go through the motion of unlocking my phone and going to the camera. OH, also on the locked screen, the camera icon has two lines, both over and under it.
How can I fix this, is it in the settings somewhere?

Touch the camera icon and scroll all the way up. You do not have to double click the home button.

Xperia Z3 Compact camera error when starting from locked screen (symbol lock)

I'm a new owner of Xperia Z3 Compact and I have noticed a problem when launching camera. The app itself works perfectly well but when trying to launch camera from locked phone (screen locked with symbol) it shows only black screen with error message that camera app it unaccessible. After removing lock screen protection both camera symbol on lock screen and dedicated camera button works as intended. Is it supposed to be that way? On my previous phone I could launch camera app without unlocking screen but couldn't access any other parts of the phone. I'd love to have it working the same way here especially with the dedicated camera button.

You may need to perform a software repair using PC Companion.The process will erase all internal memory.You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 60% battery.
Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device).
Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you might need to run it in compatibility mode with Windows 7 (in some cases XP).

Hi,I am glad Sony is pushing the new updates faster than the others. However, there seems to be a lack of testing. Till today I wish I could go back to Kitkat officially, especially for the reason that equalizer/music controls worked on all apps including youtube. But after lollipop, the volume is too low for youtube and other music streaming apps. Anyways, with a recent update, now I am not getting to know how much more time my phone will take for a full charge as the msg on lock screen is no more available. I am not disappointed with the hardware but Sony, kindly provide a single stable bug free build of lollipop which can match the quality of Kitkat. Thanks

Shuffle option available on lock screen

Hello, my name is Daniel Kim and I have a suggestion to add the shuffle/repeat options to the lock screen of the androids specifically (Not sure if there is already a shuffle/repeat option on the lock screen of the Apple phones). I constantly forget to click the shuffle button when I open the app and I feel that it would be more convenient to just click the shuffle button on the lock screen instead of having to open your phone going through passwords etc.
Thanks for listening and I hop this will be implemented into the phones.

I changed my "View" to Full Screen..How do I change it back since the Menu Bar with "View" is no longer available in "Full Screen" ?? I tried Esc but that does not work ..

I used the VIEW tab at the top left to change my View to "Full Screen".
Now I cannot access the VIEW tab to change it back. How do I change it back so that that Menu will show at the top of my screen??

# F11 toggle Full Screen
# Move mouse up through the top of the screen to menu bars, if you show them
# "Alt+V" -- to bring up the View Menu
