Camera No Longer Saving Images

Hey guys, ok so I have had my phone since the beginning of October and have had no issues. Since yesterday though my phone has stopped taking photos. It appears to capture the photo just fine and when I click view they are all there but appear to be blank and when I try to view one it crashes the phone.
I just updated to the new firmware and deleted a ton of albums off the phone hoping the new software and/or the extra space would help. I have also done a full reset on the phone. Nothing has helped. I am refraining for a full restore through iTunes because I do not want to lose all of my texts (speaking of which does anyone know if the restore deletes all texts?).
Anyways, does anyone have any advice for this problem? Thanks so much.

That's a great suggestion to keep one photo in iTunes at all times. I deleted all of mine via the Image Capture, mainly because I had 900 photos to delete and I was not going to delete them all off the iPhone one by one. (As we know, for the record, if you import photos into iPhoto and then choose /not/ to delete the originals on the iPhone, then you will never again be able to (via iPhoto) delete all the photos on your iPhoto /en masse/. You will have to delete the photos one-by-one on your iPhone).
Now, all that being said, I needed a hybrid solution, and I posting it here in case someone else had the same problem. My backup in iTunes for my iPhone already had the problem of not being able to take pictures, so a restore of any kind (from my iTunes backup) was not going to work /by itself/. Also, erasing data and setting from the iPhone did not help, using several variations of the solutions offered here. What worked for me was restoring the iPhone, /then/ deleting the file mentioned above (re: 1b43d3b3ecf259a3626c13a8b0cebd8ba513117), and /then/ letting iTunes restore my previous backup of setting and such.
So, to recap, I restored to original factory settings using iTunes, then deleted the mystery backup file mentioned above, and then restored my recent (backed-up) iPhone settings and such from iTunes as prompted. Also, remember to leave one photo in your iPhone's Camera Roll at all times; never delete them all as Mattdaddy71 said.
This whole issue could be avoided if an /en masse/ photo-delete button was incorporated into the iPhone photo software.

Why does adobe camera raw keep saving images with the incorrect white balance?

I am having an issue when I edit images. here is the scenerio:
I choose 50 Raw files and open them in Camera Raw.
I edit each individually - many of them have different white balances.
Once I have each image how I want them, I select all and click done.
Sometimes all the edits are saved correctly, but very often all the changes are saved correctly except white balance. The program seems to take the white balance from one image and applies it to all the images.
Why??? Very frustrating to have to go back and individually edit all the white balances again.

It seems to not happen if I slow down a few seconds before I click select all and then done.
That should not be the problem, once you changed settings and hitting done they all should be applied immediately. It even is not needed to first select all, that is only needed when you need to open or save the files.
But I still don't know why it would only change the white balance in every shot and not everything.
If it happens again could you first in Bridge select one of the none changed files and with right mouse click menu choose select purge cache for selection?
And can you provide more details about system version, app versions and file types?

You got more problems then the iOS 6 you did not answer my question nor the other 13 or whatever you replied to within a 30 min time frame. You must got nothing better to do then to harass people and to pretend you know something about apple products. Which you don't from what I've read the other advices you should have gave to other people. But you didn't you replied a question back to the people asking a question. So if your not gonna use these community forums the right way don't use them at all.

Saving images from camera raw in new CC suite

Hi Im having trouble re saving images from new adobe cc bridge camera raw, images once saved then show in bridge with no adjustments done in camera raw and the images are downsized to KB size images even from a 9.20mb raw image, Ive looked at setting or rather preferences and totally lost please help!!

Save/Export them as JPG. Photoshop defaults to PSD, so make sure you select JPG and not just rename the file to .jpg.
There are two ways to save them as JPG: Regular Save as option or Save for Web & Devices
Take your pick.

Saving images takes much longer now?

About six weeks ago, saving images started to take much longer than they used to

I have been doing all kinds of editing - it doesn't seem to make much difference what or if I save as JPEG or TIFF. I am using Windows 7. I am saving to the original folder. I have saved and closwed these files from the Editor. The Organizer freezes and I just have to wait to do anything else?

Why do the file extensions (.jpg .gif .png) no longer appear when I click on a previously saved image to use that image's file name (particularly important when saving a series of images using the same root name)?

I save a lot of images using firefox, often times from a large batch or series of images. It used to be that I would click on a previously saved image and the entire file name including the file extension (i.e. image_example.jpg) would appear in the "save as" line. Now when I click on a previously saved file, the file name appears without the file extension (i.e. image_example). Which means I have to manually type .jpg every time. For a large collection of images that I am hoping to use the same root file name and then add chronological numbers at the end, this has become incredibly frustrating, especially as it is a previously unnecessary task.
I am using a new Macbook Pro and maybe there's something Apple related to this...? It did not happen on my old PowerBook G4. I have file extensions turned on in System Preferences.
It should be noted that I have searched high and low and have even gone into the Apple Genius Bar where they were just confused as I was and of course ended by urging me to use Safari (shocker!) as it has all kinds of new extensions and bells and whistles. I seriously feel alone on an island with this dumb, hard to google problem. Thanks so much for any help anyone out there might have.

Thanks for your response Mylenium, however like I mentioned multiple times, I did change all of my trackpad/scrolling settings in system preferences. And if I wanted to use a normal mouse (or a tablet), I would've gotten an iMac instead of a MacBook Pro. I travel often and work all over the place, not always with access to a decently sized workspace that would be required for using a mouse or tablet.

Why do I get corrupted JPEGs when saving images in Camera Raw, CS6, Mac 0S Mavericks

I occasionally get corrupted JPEG files when processing RAW files in Camera Raw. The images will have lines of pixels that ar out of line, and or whole sections will be truncated and show white or black. I'm using PS CS6, Camera Raw 8.6 on a Mac with OSx Mavericks. Not sure, but it might have something to do with the Bridge Cache, which also acts up when it's getting full. Anyone else have this problem, or any advice.

right click on the jpeg (the other mouse button then you use to click with) or on trackpad, hold down control and click, in the menu that pops up, click on "get info" next, if the box labeled "locked" is checked, uncheck it. Down at the bottom, there should be a box with your user name, "staff" and "everyone". to the right of this are options to change these you may need to click the small padlock icon and enter in your password. then change all of the permissions to read and write.

S230U Twist - Camera no longer works after Win 8.1

Hello all!
I've scoured the forums and tried EVERYTHING but I still cannot find a solution to my problem:
After I upgrade from Win 8 to Win8.1, my camera no longer works. It shows a gray screen with a camera and a diagonal line across it but the green camera light shows up; I also get a shutter sound when take a picture but the image is only of the aforementioned gray camera screen. I can't use the camera for video in skype or any other video chat function.
My Integrated Camera driver version is 3.4.7.26 (SunplusIT) dated 3/15/2013. I tried to upgrade but it seems to be the latest one.
I've also checked that the Lock Screen setting is set to ON for "Swipe down on lock screen to use camera".
SOMEONE, please HELP!

I'm really sorry to hear that when you try to use webcam in your Lenovo S230U Twist, you are getting a crossed camera image.
Check if your camera is in normal or private mode. This could be happening because you might have set your camera in private mode.
Go into Lenovo Settings App and select camera.
There will be the options of Private and Normal.
Select Normal.
Also, in Settings > Permissions, make sure that Skype and other similar apps have permission to access the Webcam or Microphone.

Saved image displays differently outside Photoshop

When I save an image I've been working on in Photoshop, then open the saved file outside Photoshop, the image looks quite different than it does inside Photoshop, much drabber and less saturated. I have both Photoshop and the display program set to sRGB. I figure that I should have consistency within the monitor, whether it's calibrated or not. I'm sure I'm missing something basic here. I'd appreciate any help here, because my prints wind up drab, too. Many thanks!

Were you saving images without a color profile before, and some application(s) in your system were displaying them improperly?
Problem is, in that case one wouldn't really expect to see the kind of difference you describe unless your document profile really wasn't sRGB IEC61966-2.1.
Is it possible you're editing your images in the Adobe RGB 1998 color space? That could happen if you're opening images through Camera Raw, as the color space it's set to deliver is configured separately (via the link at the bottom-center of the Camera Raw dialog) from the Photoshop defaults.
By the way, if you don't already know, you can easily set the status block in the lower-left of the Photoshop window to show you the color space of your current document:

N96 capturing but not saving images

Hi,
I've had an N96 for ages without issue but recently it has stopped saving images.
Camera works fine, can take photos and they display on the screen as captured but then, unlike before, they are not automatically saved.
Have checked memory space - loads left
Restored camera settings - no change
Have checked other folders and "all photos" rather than just gallery - still no sign of latest image(s)
Any help..?

Rob, the option to retain the original Raw file (in this case CR2) is in conversion to DNG done from the Library module, not to conversions done during importation when Copy as DNG is selected, because in this case the original remains on the card.
CDPhoto, if, on the Import page, you select Copy instead of Copy as DNG, your files on the hard disc will be CR2s. If your really do want them converted to DNG, in the right side panel select File Handling/Make a Second Copy To: and designate a location. The second copy will be CR2.

Saving images from LR Mobile with edits.

I'm having a bit of trouble saving images on my ipad with the current edits.
To me it seems I have to manually sync the edited image first, otherwise Lr just saves a JPG of the original image to my photostream rather than a copy with adjustments on it.
Am I missing something or is this the way it works?

Correct. As long your image is in Develop mode (same with presets and crop) and you would like to share from there you need to maually force sync your changes first. This is already logged as in internal bug. Thanks, Guido

Does iPhone Packager CS 5.5 support camera access and LOADING images from the camera roll?

Flash CS 5 only supports SAVING to the camera roll, not loading image from it. And it has no access to the camera to take pictures and access the image within the app.
Does Flash CS 5.5 do these things? There's no point in upgrading if it doesn't support these core feature that I need.

Just got an app rejected because the popover to select the pics from the camera roll on the iPad always appears on to-left corner, and the arrow doesn't point anywere, and should be pointing to the button which activated it. That "does not comply with the Apple iOS Human Interface Guidelines, as required...". On the iPhone there's no issue because it takes over the whole screen. More from the apple rejection message:
"Specifically, we noticed your app contained popover elements that didn't point to the element that revealed them. To avoid user confusion, a popover element's arrow should point to the element that revealed it."
So, thanks for including the CameraRoll functionality, but it will be useless in the iPad apparently
Any workaround to make it appear at a specific place when calling myCameraRoll.browseForImage() ?
