Camera no longer zooms in or out.

i have an at&t curve 8320. i've always been able to zoom in/out with my camera by scrolling the trackball, but all of a sudden, i'm no longer able to do it. there's no problem with my scrollball, since it works with every other application. any ideas? did i change a setting inadvertantly somewhere along the way? thanks.

Camera will not zoom in and out.

My phone, for whatever reason, will not zoom in. In previous opportunities, I was able to zoom in and out, but now it only takes pictures at 1X. The 3X and 5X will work either through the volume control or trackball. Has anyone else experienced this and is there a fix?

With your device ON, remove battery for 30-60 seconds. Replace battery. This HARD RESET should resolve your issue. Make sure you leave your device ON while doing the battery reset.

Why is my trackpad no longer zooming in and out?

Do multi-touch gestures work other places like on the desktop? If you make an expand motion with your fingers on the desktop the icons should get larger (folders, images, documents, whatever you have floating about the screen).
If it doesn't something may be wrong with multi-touch. Reset it by removing the following file to the trash and restarting the computer: Macintosh HD > Library > Preferences > com.apple.driver.AppleBluetoothMultitouch.trackpad
If the issue persists try reseting the PRAM: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=Mac/10.6/en/26871.html

I used to be able to zoom in with my camera by using the roller ball. This no longer works & has never worked on my husband's phone. Does anyone have any ideas? (Sprint Curve 8330)

Hi and welcome to the forums! Pull the battery while the device is ON, replace after a minute,
Let the device reboot 1-3 min, see if the problem is fixed,

Cam will not zoom in or out

The track ball works with every other application except when the cam is activated. It is stuck on the "1X". Any options to reset??

with the phone on. pull the battery to reset the device. see if that works

My 8350i camera doesn't zoom any more.

I updated a few weeks ago and discovered that my camera has stopped zooming in or out on the subject that I am taking a picture of. I am not sure how to fix this and my destop computer fried the motherboard so I can't access anything on it to try to rollback to prior to my update. In reading some of these posts it seems it might be a common issue, please please help if you can.

Now, open the camera and try the zoom again.
What did you update? I need to know your Operating System loaded to your device.
Look at Options > About, third line down beginning with a "v.4.xxx"

On iOS 5? Yes it does, you just have to pinch like u would to make page bigger in safari for example.

My Blackberry camera will no longer zoom!

I have had my blackberry for a month now, and really have not played with it, i.e. delved deep into what it can really do. I have taken a few pictures and was able to use the zoom feature. Last week, I tried to use the camera and the zoom feature and the camera will not zoom any further than 1x. I have not changed any settings that might affect the camera!!!
Help! Anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this issue. The trackball and the volume buttons both fail to work.

     My BB curve 8520 was working fine but I don't know somehow picture's zoom in and zoom out options are disabled that is not working. I have tried by changing picture size to all but still it doesn't show zoom in and zoom out.
          before occuring this problem i can zoom in and out using trackpad.but now i can't.

Have you tried a reboot? With the power turned ON, remove the battery, wait a couple of seconds, then replace battery and allow to boot up

I can no longer zoom in my messages in mail since upgrading to Lion

I have a Mac Book Pro with an intel i5 processor and 4GB of ram. Since I have upgraded to Lion I can no longer zoom in on my messages in Mail. I was able to do this in Snow Leopard when ever the text size was too small. Is there a way to make the text larger in the body of the messages I receive?

The zoom has been replaced by the pinch and zoom method just as you would do in zoming into or out of a document or photo. Hope this helps.
