Camera not viewable in new viewer

Hi, I cannot view my camera in the new portal. I have to go back to the old one to view it. Please fix this, or stop taking me to the new portal until it is fixed. Thanks

For those having issues... just a few suggestions in case they might help... I find that most of the time whenever I have an issue with a webpage displaying properly it's because I'm running outdated software or need to perform an update... 1) List the web browser you are using in your post - and check to make sure you've updated to the most recent version of the browser 2) Make sure you are running the most recent version of Adobe Flash 3) If you're running Windows, make sure to run and install all of the latest Windows updates. 4) If all else fails, try a different browser... for example, if you're having issues and you're using Internet Explorer, try using Chrome instead. This can at least help you narrow your issue down...

Camera not working on new profile

I have 3 profiles on this same Skype, on one laptop. 1 profile works fine but on second profile camera not working (video not showing), audio works fine. I created a new account (e-mail is same from second profile) and is this same - video not working. I dont understand what is wrong. This same laptop, this same camera, this same drivers/windows7, latest Skype, and from 3 profiles one working fine. Please help!!!

Try to reset all Skype settings.
Quit Skype or use Windows Task Manager to kill any Skype.exe process. Go to Windows Start and in the Search/Run box type %appdata% and then press Enter or click the OK button. The Windows File Explorer will pop up. There locate a folder named “Skype”. Rename this folder to something different, e.g. Skype_old.
Next go to Windows Start and in the Search/Run box type %temp%\skype and then press Enter or click the OK button. Delete the DbTemp folder.
Restart Skype.
N.B. If needed, you will still be able to re-establish your call and chat history. All data is still saved in the Skype_old folder.

Facetime HD Camera not working on new 27inch iMac

Hello everyone,
I got a new 27" iMac and can't get the built-in Facetime HD camera working...when I open Photo Booth I just get a gray spinning wheel where my image would usually be.. I tried using it with iMovie, FaceTime, and Facebook and it wont work with any of them...
I went to System Information and the camera is being recognized under USB (FaceTime HD Camera Built In)
Tried restarting it, unplugging everything, creating a new user account...
Not sure what else to do since I have not installed anything yet
Any help would be appreciated...thank you!

Because you already use 10.8.2, unless something is wrong, the requirements for the 10.8.2 update can obviously be met on your startup drive.
Check your startup disk's free space. Unless your disk has too little free space for the 10.8.2 Combo, your software (or perhaps your disk hardware) may need repair.
If your disk is getting full, increase disk space.
Otherwise, restart Mac from Mountain Lion Recovery and use Mountain Lion Recovery's Disk Utility to repair your boot drive.
Restart normally and try installing the Combo Update again.

If you mean that you are trying to install some kind of camera software, don't. No software other than OS X is needed for any Mac-compatible cam. Moreover, adding third-party camera drivers or other camera software apps can cause software conflicts.
If you mean that you have already installed some third-party camera software, follow its developer's instructions for uninstalling, and uninstall it immediately. Then restart normally and try your camera again.
If you mean something else, please explain in different words.

CAMERA not working on new iPHONE4.

Is anyone else having problems with the CAMERA on the new iPHONE 4.Mines not working at all.(The phone itself is fine, just the camera) Have restored it twice now but just simply doesnt work. When i reboot it, it works for a few seconds then it just freezes........ Have to say im very disappointed in it,after all the hype about it......this kind of thing should simply not happen....

FYI- Just got back from the Apple Store and they did the same thing as what roblofu reported. They tried to restore, but no luck, so they ended up replacing the phone. Looks like it really is a hardware issue after all...
*One thing I gotta say is hats off to Ryan at the Grove Apple store who really helped me get this resolved even though it was still a mad house in there from the mob caused by the iPhone 4 launch. I didn;t have an appointment, and the Genius Bar was overflowing because they had closed it early on launch day causing every appt to get pushed to today all the way through the weekend which meant I would not have got this resolved 'til sometime next week. After talking with him and expressing my frustration, he not only found me a willing genius to look at it in between their customers, but he kept checking back with me the whole time until I left. Now that's the kind of service that keeps me buying Apple products again and again. You just don't see that kind of service in most tech companies today what with all the outsourcing going on. Kudos to both him and the Genius that helped me which I unfortunately forgot his name. But I thanked him profusely!

I am in the process of creating a site and am using a
template for the basis of the pages. All of the pages so far are
working fine, however, when I pasted the nested table into this
page

Concerts, I was able to edit the content in Design view,
changing the font size, color, etc. After saving the page and
closing it I now can only see the actual content of the page when I
am in Code View. No matter where I click in Design view it's like
I'm trying to access a non-editable region. Not being able to see
the content in design view makes it hard (for me at least) to edit
the page. Any thoughts on why this is happening and how to fix it?
I know it's probably an easy fix but it's driving me nuts... thanks

My pictures stored in camera not viewable from PC

I'm trying to transfer pictures I took from my Nokia 6165i phone to my PC. When I hook the PC to the phone by either bluetooth or via the USB cable, I don't see a directory where my photos are stored. I do see a "My pictures" directory, but it seems distinct from the 'My pictures --> Stored in phone' (when browsing the directory structure on the phone.
It looks like there are two 'My pictures' directories in the phone. One is via the phone "My Albums" path, and the other is accessible when trying to set a wallpaper via a 'My content' path. From my PC I can see the one related to the wallpaper - I can store photos there from my pc, retrieve them, and see them from the phone and the PC. The other 'My Pictures' directory related to the phone is empty on the phone and I can't see it in the browser on my pc.
Is there a way to see the other 'My photos' directory on my pc? or maybe move the photos I've taken from the 'stored in camera' location to the 'saved to phone' location - that might make them visible in the PC browser.
Using the 'Store Images' utility in the Nokia PC Suite just pulls in utility images (wallpapers, etc.) not my photos.
I hope that makes sense. Please, whatever help you can give is appreciated. Thanks.

Calendar - March 2013 not viewable in monthly view

Calendar crashes if I attempt to view March 2013 when in month view. Can see individual weeks but this is very inconvenient,

Try removing any all-day events from the calendar for the 1st April 2013 e.g. if you are syncing the calendar from somewhere else (e.g. Outlook on a PC or iCal/Calendar on a Mac) then change it to a timed event instead of all-day - it seems that there is a problem with all day events on that date which is when the clocks change due to daylight saving.

Attachments not viewable in conversation view in Outlook 2010

We have an installation of Outlook 2010 on XP Pro SP3, and when the inbox is set to view by conversation and there are messages that contain attachments within a conversation, I will open the message that contains the attachment, but there will be no attachment
visible either at the top of or within the body of the message. If I change the inbox view to a view other than by conversation and then open the same message, I can see and open the attachment just fine. How can it be fixed so that I can interact with attachments
while in conversation view?

After reproducing your situation, I can view the attachment with in a conversation.
Regarding this situation, I suggest let’s click “reset view” then test this issue again. If the issue still persists, let’s repair
the Outlook.

When starting up Mail 7.3 does not provide a New Message window

When starting up Mail 7.3 does not provide a New Message window as it always used to? Have I inadvertently turned something off?

OOPs! My mistake; I meant New Viewer Window!
The problem is that if I close the Mail window but leave Mail running in the background, the next time I click on Mail in the Dock, I do NOT get the New Viewer Window, just the Mail Menu on the Menu Bar. If I Quit Mail in that state and then start it up from the Dock, I also get on the Mail Menu.
If, however, I Quit Mail when the Viewer Window is open, it will open up again with the New Viewer Window visible.
In the past, I got the New Viewer Window whenever I clicked Mail in the Dock.
Changing settings in System Preferences / General doesn't make any difference.
Not a huge problem, just an annoyance. Ran Permissions Repair; no change in the issue.

Hi Larry. I see. It is a file I have worked on previously, and the font is Myriad which I though came with the system. I just changed to Myriad Pro and the pink box disappeared. Thanks for the assistance, I know a new thing!

Some websites require a special client certficate for access. If you don't have that certficate, you'll have to contact the site operator to find out how to get one.
Sometimes the problem is caused by a web server that is configured to request an optional client certificate. Safari treats the request as mandatory. In that case, other browsers such as Firefox and Chrome may be able to connect to the site, because they ignore the request.
The first time you were prompted for a certificate, you may have clicked through a dialog that requested access to the Apple certificate in your keychain that is used to secure the iMessage service. In that case, you may be able to regain access to the site in Safari by doing as follows.

New View Object not found

Using the scott schema, in my test workspace I created a BC4J project that had 4 tables/view objects using the wizards and taking all the defaults. I created a UIX-JSP project using those view objects.
Next I created a new table in the database (LoginMaster). I went back to the BC4J project added the entity object (LoginMaster) and allowed the wizard to build the default view object (LoginMasterView) into package1. Then I opened the properties on the AM (ScottModule)to put the new view object in the Data Model property. I tested the ScotMOdule AM and the view object is there and is accessable.
I build a jsp page (using the starter form wizard in UIX-JSP category). I then striped out ALL of the default code and cut-n-pasted ALL of the code from another query form that was built by the "Business Components JSP Application" wizard of the UIX-JSP category. I changed the data source name from "EmpView" to "LoginMasterView" and when I run the application I'm told:
Error Message: Could not locate View Object LoginMasterView in application Package1Module.
oracle.jbo.JboException: Could not locate View Object LoginMasterView in application Package1Module.
As I said, the VO LoginMasterView is in package1. I also verified it is coded in package1.xml andd scottmodule.xml, I suspect it was put here by setting the AM properties.
So what did I leave out or do wrong?

Edit your package1Module application module and verify that the name of the viewobject in the selected DataModel tree is the same as the name you're providing in your JSP page.
I belive by default a number suffix is added to the VO names in the APpModule datapanel. Basically only VO usages that are included in the application module data-model are "findable" by default using the findViewObject methods. Yes it is the correct name in the DataModel Tree.
Your response got me thinking. What files contain the text LoginMasterView? Well, all the files that conatin that text contain exactly that text. I was told package1.xml in the src directory of my BC4J objects project contained the text (which it did). But then I opened the files Package1Module.xml and Package1ModuleImpl.java and noticed they DID NOT conatin that text (even though it seems they should) so I added it to both of these files. But even after I built the BC4J objects project I noticed that the Package1ModuleImpl.class file is not recompiled (still dated July 4, 2002).
So now I have two new questions:
1. How come Package1Module.xml and Package1ModuleImpl.java did not get updated? What updates them?
2. Once Package1ModuleImpl.java is manually updated and the [roject is built why is Package1ModuleImpl.class not recompiled?
