can anyone help me solve the ipod touch problem...
my ipod touch 4 have a problem with the camera.
when i on thecamera at first... it cant turn it to front camera.
bt now i even cant function the normal camera.
i restore my ipod. bt it still the same.
i turn power off my ipod, but it still the same.
can i know what happen with my ipod touch 4?
is there any solution besides send it to the store?
because my ipod is now not under warranty.
please help. thank you.

If you restored to factory settings/new iPod and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Is there any device that I can use to connect my digital camera to iPod Touch for file transfer without linking up with the computer? I am very interested in finding one for my dad as he wants to use the iPod Touch as a secondary storage and photo viewer when he's taking photos away from home or access to computer.
Also, is there any photo viewer app for iPod that can display RAW files?

It would be a great feature to be able to view (and back up) photos on the 'big screen' of an iPod Touch when on holiday for instance.
For me a reason to (for now not) buy one.
There's seems to be a possibility to get wifi on your camera. (special card) ??
Then you could use an app called Regal Media to transfer.
But anyway it would be much better to be able to just connect the camera to the iPod Touch with usb.
I hope this will be possible soon.

The iPod touch has a very rudimentary camera. It has only a 0.6 MP resolution, no optical zoom, no flash, etc. There is no app that can improve this as it is limited by the hardware. So it is not a replacement for a digital camera (nor even for an iPhone whose camera has a 5.0 MP resolution.

IPod touch will not function at all

My iPod touch completely died yesterday. I had just finished playing a game and put in my purse. A few minutes later, I got it out again and it would not come out of sleep mode; the lock screen didn't even come up. My sleep button is broken so all that functioned was the home button. However, I don't think the home button is the problem because when I plugged it in to charge it (I had thought maybe I misread my battery bar), not even the lock screen with the battery came up. I left in plugged in, however, for a few hours since I had to leave for an appointment. I came home, pressed the home button, but there was no sign of life. So I plugged it into my iTunes, but after a few minutes it didn't even show that there was a device hooked up to it like it usually does. I can't reset it because my on/off button has been broken for a while. Is there anything I can do to possibly reset it with my computer even if it doesn't recognize there's a device or is my best bet to get a new iPod? Or maybe someone can suggest even more options. Thank you!

IPod Touch - unable to sync any video

I'm a prou owner of the new iPod Touch, but I have big problems with syncing videos on it. I tried almost everything I found here as suggestions, but nothing helped. Every single time I get the report: +Track "0" could not be copied on your iPod, because it can't be played on this iPod.+ I have no problems syncing music, but video...
I'm using iTunes 8.0 and Windows XP.
For example: I want to sync a Friends episode.
- first I converted it with Quick Time - no luck.
- than I converted it with iTunes - still no luck.
- last but not least I converted it with a Winavi and also All in one converter (that converts specially for iPod) - again no luck.
All the characteristics are ok - H.264, mpeg-4,... and I am really lost with what more can I do to make it work. Please help.

I am also unable to sync my iPod classic to iTunes 8.0.2.20 (my Apple TV would sync just fine). I read on other threads that there is an issue related to DRM. I deauthorized my computer, and the sync completed fine (minus the DRM songs of course). Apple has an issue to fix

I just got an iPod Touch 4 for my birthday (w00t), however I cannot seem to get it to connect to my wireless router. Everytime I try, it says Unable to connect to network. I reset the routers password, but it didn't do anything. I saw in other threads people said to switch ti WPA security, but mine is already set as WPA Personal. I'm not sure what to do! Please help!

NO I did not and thank you very much for the advice. My problem was stated incorrectly in that while I am able to connect to the wireless from that point on I am unable to connect to the internet. I will check the article referred to.

IPOD Touch music playing functions

Seems like Apple has cut down on the music playing functions on the iPOD Touch. I cannot have my Touch to shuffle by albums. And when I stop listening to a song, it won't pick up to where I left when I start listening again. So I have to remember which album I was listening and to which song I was. These are simple functions that were left out on the Touch and it's kind of a bummer. I hope this will be corrected on a future update. All the other applications are very cool, but let's not forget that the primary use for an iPOD is to play music.

Does the iPod still charge and syn with the computer?

My Ipod Touch Shake & Steering Functions (motions) are not working

I have had my ipod touch 32gb for 3 months now and in the last 48 hours, my shake function & steering function in apps & song shuffle and pretty much any motion function has stopped working. I am not getting any error messages either. I have turned off the ipod touch and turned off on these functions and nothing changes.

Do a restore through iTunes. Skip the restore as new option and restore from the last backup point. This should fix it but if it persists, it could be a hardware problem which will require Apple's attention.

I have been given an IPod touch from my sister as she brought a new one, because she was having problems with the IPod not connecting to her computer etc..
I have had the same problems with the IPod when connected to my computer e.g. USB not recognized, iTunes not picking IPod up when connected. After searching the Internet I decided to update my ITunes and Windows, ITunes was still not picking up the iPod when connected so I decided to ?restore the iPod its now frozen in restore, I can turn it off but nothing else, USB now recognizes IPod as 'IPod in recovery mode, you must restore before continuing.' usually after a few mins a bubble will pop up saying 'USB device not recognized, a device connected to this computer has malfunctioned'. ITunes now opens 80% of the time when the IPod is connected but is unable to complete the restore, the usual error is 1611 or 'the IPod could not be restored, device could not be found.'
I have tried to update the USB but am told that 'there could not be a better match for the hardware then the software the is currently been used'. I have restarted my computer and used all the different USB ports with no change and have tried connecting to a different computer (different computer wont recognize IPod at all). Sorry about my rambling but I'm stuck for ideas and probably should of just asked here first, any help would be greatly appreciated.

i did everything apple writes about fixing that particular problem...didn't help one little bit....

Why is my camera and ipod touch not connecting to my macbook pro?

My computer is not recognizing my camera and ipod are connected by the usb cable. But when I connect a usb memory stick it does come up on the desktop. Originally when I bought the computer in May 2011 the ipod touch did work. I am wondering if I accidentally touched something to make it not work and how I can fix it to make it work again.

Please detail all you have done to resolve your issue. Need this information so that the users can avoid the "been there, done that" scenario type responses. This is to avoid repeating the troubleshooting you may have already tried. Thank you.
