Camera problems after update to 8.1
After updating to IOS 8.1 on my iPhone 5, my camera died. I tried to recreate the phone, but I am sure that the problem is the Software update, and as long as I can't go back to an early version I can't fix it. What do i do? I had no problems with the 8.01 like everybody else.
The camera is like frozen... sometimes i can switch and get the front camera ( the one that is on the same side as the screen ) to work but the main camera is dead.

It sounds like your camera is not working at all on one side, and very inconsistently on the other side. Start with these steps in the following article:
Get help with the camera on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Make sure that there’s nothing blocking the camera lens. If you’re using a case, try removing it.
Force the app to close, then open the Camera app again.
Restart your device, then open the Camera app again.
If your device has a front and rear camera, try both cameras by tapping the camera swap icon . If you see the closed lens or black screen on only one camera, take your device to an Apple Retail Store or Authorized Service Provider for more help.
If the issue persists, before you reach out to Apple per step 4, I would next backup your phone and restore it as a new device, rather than restoring it from a backup with this article:
iOS: How to back up your data and set up your device as a new device
Restoring an iPhone as a new device with iTunes will determine if the issue is to do with software or not. If the issue does not persist when it is restored as new, then restore your backup and verify it still works, or isolate the issue to the backup itself.

They suggested I backup my device, and perform a factory data reset. When prompted to update to iOS 8 again, re-installation has been known to resolve the issue. With all the problems with iOS 8, camera, and overall device slowing, I might just wait for a follow on SW turn.

After updating my N93I the camera can't take pics and only take Black photos , You don't see nothing on the screen ( Only stripes)
The Phone is O.k since it worked for 1 time even after the upgrade and that's all.
I can use the internal camera.

I am reading over the net that some users lost the ability to use the camera after Update of firmware.
I am one of those that have a N93I (Which supposed to have a great camera) that can't use the camera any more , When I try to use the camera I get stripes on the screen and the pictures are all black.
I am reading about the same issues with other users and other phones.
I have tried to update the software several times and it remains the same.
What are my options , I got the phone as a gift from other state and I don't have a place that can help me here in Israel , I guess I need to re flash the phone but no support center in Israel that can do this since this phone is not “official” supported in Israel ... What can I do.
I must say that I am disappointed from Nokia phones; I have bought two in the last months:
Nokia N93I : I cannot use the camera after using the NOKIA software update.
Nokia N95 that the screen turn to black, the phone is working but nothing on the screen ,At least this can be fixed by Nokia partner in Israel since the phone is also being sell in Israel.
I am a big fan of Nokia, I used a many phones and the main issue is that those are the best phones and I feel like **bleep** with those.
Please help me and advise me what I can do with my N93I.

Camera problems after updating 8100 Firmware to v4.5
Hi All
This is a known issue to me as I update all our work handsets with Blackberry firmware for the company I work for.
After updating the firmware on several handsets to the latest 4.5 version of the Blackberry 8100 there is a problem with the camera.
When you are in view mode and outside (even whilst overcast) the screen goes white as if the aperture for the lens is open wide.
Even when you take the picture the result is whiteness everywhere.

Both of these pictures were taken indoors with just flourescent lights on.
However if I return the firmware to a lower level the problem no longer exists.
I have tried changing the white Balance settings on the handset and no matter which setting I put it on the same results occure.
I was wondering if there is a patch or do I have to wait for the next version for a bug fix?

Go to Solution.Upgraded the handset software to 4.5.0.55 and the camera problem no longer exists.

So after the latest update my phone keeps saying camera unavailable, this was very frustrating when I went on holiday as I kept having to close and reopen the camera app to take pictures!! I bought the phone partly because of the camera. It's still not fixed and it affects other apps like snapchat and Instagram.

Several problems after updating PS to 14.2
I updated PS CC to 14.2 today. After that, I am unable to (so far)
- Save a project as JPG
- Free transform, dodge, burn, erase, move and so on.
"Could not xxxxx because of a program error" is the message i get.
Drivers are up to date, and it worked fine earlier today with these commands which I use every day, problems came immediately after updating.

Bluetooth problem after update to lollipop
Hi,I've recently updated my 6503 to Lollipop.Everything went smoothly and is working fine, except 2 issues - one solved, second NOT. FIRST (solved) - phone after update waked up and logged to 2G network, with no data transmission (despite it was turned ON). What was strange - my operator's network appeared in 'available network list' as separate 3 NETWORKS ( 2g, 3g and LTE) Switching manually to LTE solved it - now phone is switching between technologies automatically, data transmission is working fine. SECOND AND NOT SOLVED: I'm using the hands-free system built in my car ( mitsubishi lancer, 2008 ) . After update, phone failed to establish connection with it, even hands-free system remained as 'associated device'. OK ... I erased hands-free system from phone, as well as phone from car's memory. Paired devices again - starting procedure from car's side. Nothing better. Erased and paired starting from phone side. Nothing better.What I've observed more: phone after try to establish connection , phone in eye blink looses it. On list of available services of hands-free system (in phone menu ofc) , only 'phone sound' appears, while -as I remember but i'm not sure- before update more (2 or 3) services were detected . PLEASE HEEELP !
Re: Bluetooth problem after update to lollipop As above post, I am also experiencing problems with bluetooth on my Z2:- Phone connection is OK if Bluetooth is turned on the phone for " car is ready". Then I can make and receive calls.
- Playing music on bluetooth does not work after Lollipop 5.0.2 update on my car head unit. Previously connected and able to stream music on 4.4.4 Kit Kat with no issues, looking on web this is not a new issue with Bluetooth connection issues to devices since Lollipop came out so what the **bleep** is going on? I purposely bought a Sony TV, Car Head Unit and Soundbar to ensure everything worked together now the head unit that I only had fiitted in February does not connect which cost me £249!!! No issues connecting to TV or Soundbar but on HU it tries to connect then disconnects and BT Audio Icon on HU display greys out although phone is connected and icon highlighted as connected. I have cleared cache, unpaired and paired again, reinstalled 5.0.2 again through wifi instead of OTA but still the same. Car device: Sony XAV-602BTAndroid version 5.0.2Version: 23.1.A.0.726 -
Light Flow / Accessibility Problems After Update ..
OK Light Flow problem after update.... the problem is my Talk Back in Accessibility keeps turning on after i restart my phone i know it should not do that it only dose it when i have Light Flow - LED & Notification installed and Tturned on in Accessibility ..... i use Light Flow - LED & Notification to control my LED Notification becuse i hate the built in feature that came with the phone the default management keep the LED to dim hard to see ........ i have used the app ever scene i got the phone and never had a problem tell this crappy update JZO54K.I535VRBLMD3 / I535VRBLMD3 came out i also believe the update JZO54K.I535VRBLMD3 / I535VRBLMD3 that was pushed out made the Accessibility option bad / and everything else
The phone is new
i have hard factory reset it / battery pulled
it did it with old phone but did not do it before that update was pushed
i also got a (NEW) NOT REFURBED phone trying to solve the poor 4G LTE signal /battery life
and over all phone performance with no luck that update was a bad one and needs to be addressed

I found the work around to be just getting a folder app from the play store - the only talking it was doing was "opening folder" "closing folder" (annoying as he!!)
See the second screen for what that says as far as options. My opinion - just get the folder app, it's easier. -
Problem after update software 5700xm
I'm facing some problem after updating my 5700xm from v3.27 to v 03.83.1 22-06-07.
1. when opening the music player when the open progress is appear it came out so long untill i have to switch it off and on it again then when i open the music player it goes OK.
2. Refreshing music library, when i try to update/refresh to find new music after recived bluetooth it takes to long to find like 1hr and at the end i have to stop it. Also no new music found i'v done it many times.
3. After all the problem came out, i thought that maybe it will solve if i just try restore the phone to default factory setting, so i back up phone memory to mmc and then press *£7370£, so it restart and appear installing it took long time to install and at the end came out masage "some application are unable to install....." then i try to restore the phone memory, but it like the restore can't function well or maybe don't restore at all b'cos all my application that I install erlyer not fuction, all my contac are lost so do massege....
So do any body got the same prob as i am...????
Can I down grade to the erlyer version????

To update your Nokia 2700, DON'T USE "nokia software update" directly.
You'll have to install NOKIA OVI SUITE, then sign in with your account ou register.
Afterwards update your 2700 via the update option of OVI SUITE.

White screen problem after updating to 1.1 firmware
My 2G iPod Nano worked fine with 1.0.1 and 1.0.2 firmware but after updating to 1.1 I get white screen everytime I turn it on after longer period of time. Turning the iPod off and then right back on makes it work again. I have done restore 3 times without effect. I even removed the firmware files so that iTunes downloads them again when doing the restore but that didn't work either.
Should I return it or wait for new firmware? Has anyone else had this problem after updating to 1.1?Disconnect iPod and close iTunes.
Firmware files are in "Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPod Software Updates" folder.
You should still have the 1.0.2 files named "iPod_19.1.0.2.ipsw" and "iPod_19.1.0.2.ipsw.signature" in there if have you upgraded from 1.0.1 version.
Remove 1.1 files from the folder so that only those to files are in there.
Disconnect from network (I switched off my wlan) so that iTunes can't download the new version. Connect your iPod and do Restore, iTunes will now use the old firmware files because it can't connect to the internet.

I found the following information that helped me.....
Program errors occur when software conflicts arise due to an updated operating system. You can resolve these errors when you also update the driver software that causes the conflict or when you update the operating system. Program errors can also occur because of a damaged Photoshop preference file, or if there is a problem with a phone or internet connection. The Apple Disk Utility fixes file system errors that can also cause program errors.
Error "Could not complete your request..." or "Could not create a new document..." (Photoshop CS2 on Mac OS X v10.4)
Issue
Adobe Photoshop CS2 returns one of the following error messages:
"Could not complete your request because of a program error" when you try to open a file.
"Could not create a new document because of a program error" when you try to create a new file.
Solution 1:
Install the most recent update to Mac OS.
Solution 2:
Re-create your preferences files.
1. Hold CommandOptionShift when you start Photoshop.
2. Click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings file?"
Solution 3:
Disconnect your Internet connection.
To disconnect your Internet connection, do one of the following:
If you are connected to the Internet via a telephone modem, then disconnect from the modem.
If you are connected to the Internet via cable modem or DSL, then disconnect the ethernet cable from your computer.
Solution 4:
Use a disk repair utility.
Restart your Mac in Single User mode and run fsck -fy . For more information about the fsck command, please visit the Apple website at http:/docs.info.apple.comarticle.html?artnum=106214 .
Solution 5:
Ensure that all your drivers are compatible with Mac OS X v10.4.
Determine if your printer and video card (and any other peripherals you might have) are compatible with Mac OS X v10.4, and visit the manufacturers' websites to update the drivers.
Solution 6:
Re-create your printers in Mac OS X.
To re-create your printers, first delete them and then add them again.
To delete your printers:
1. Open System Preferences from the Apple menu.
2. Select Print & Fax, and click Printing.
3. Select each printer in the list and click the delete key (the minus key).
For instructions on how to add your printers again, see "Setting up to print to a printer" in Mac Help or search Help using the phrase "add a printer."
The one that fixed it for me was solution 6 -- re-creating my printers

My itunes opens 2-3 hrs after doubleclicking it to open;it happened once or twice with itunes 11.x , but its a constant problem after updating itunes to the latest 12.0.1....my operating system windows7;processor i5 intel haswell and 4gb ram...i have no issue with opening other big programs....i tried uninstalling completely the itunes and reinstalling it as i thought at first it is not opening (because it takes really long time) and i followed the following support pages
1)iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8: Fix unexpected quits or launch issues
2)iTunes for Windows doesn't open after upgrading in Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
but my problem doesnot get solved even after trying all the methods in the above pages...
