i just finished skool 2 day at last n i took alot of photos and i got home and lugged in my cam 2 my mb and....... nothink
its not reading it at all any ideas how i can get it 2 wrk tyvm

Well, since it can't be a mounting error, it has to either be a USB cable issue, or a driver issue;
First, I know that evreyone always says this, but check the camera manufacturer's website for new drivers
Second, try another USB port or cable. Often times the port is faulty; and that's beyond my ability to fix. However, most likely the other port works. Also, if you have another USB device, test the port with that. If changing ports doesn't work; try another cable.
Third, if you or someone else you know has another mac, try connecting to it.
Fourth, take it to apple or the camera manufacturer.
Some important notes:
I'm sorry if this sounds insulting, but I've seen people forget to turn the camera on. Make sure it is.
Also, try removing and reinserting the battery or memory card of the camera

i posted this question a week ago unfortunately i didt get any solutions, i hope i get them now , well the problem with my nokia C5, camera was working absolutely fine, i took many pictures using panorama mode it was very good , Yesterday when i switched to panorama mode to take a picture of a building , the red box didt move at all, only it showed green arrows on the both sides . Tried moving it but nothing. Then tried reset my mobile i though it might a error . WHAT MIGHT B THE ERROR? IS THERE ANY SOLUTION WITHOUT UPDATING THE SOFTWARE?

If you open up 2 or more views you will see that the camera is behaving exactly as you keyframed it. It moves from position 1 to position 2 in a straght line. There is nothing wrong with keyframe interpolation or anything having to do with AE's camera. You just do not understand how your camera tools work or how keyframes behave.
A layer or the camera will always move in a straight line between keyframes unless you apply a bezzier interpolation to the position to create an arc. You set one keyframe at the default position, then used the camera tool to rotate the camera around to the back of the layer and set another keyframe. The camera moves from position 1 to position 2 passing through the layer. That is exactly the way it should behave and it is the way any camera in any app would behave when you set only two keyframes. Somehow you are expecting the software to know that you wanted to move the camera in an arc but you never did anything that suggested that the path should be anything but a straight line.
If you want the camera to orbit the layer then you have three choices. 3 keyframes (with path adjustments) or 2 keyframes with path adjustments, or a null used as an orbit tool. You said you wanted "a complete solution for the problem not to do it by a null." If you were a carpenter would you want to drive nails with a screwdriver? No, you would use the right tool for the job, a hammer.
By far the easiest solution for your problem would be to go to Layer>Camera>Create an orbit null. The only other solution is to adjust the camera path using multiple views. It makes no difference what 3D app you are using, if you set one keyframe for a camera in front of an object and another keyframe with the camera behind the object, the camera will go through the object and not around it.

Well I have a 2gb ipod nano. Recently I added 2 CDs to my library then went to update ipod to add them to my ipod. IT said it wouldnt fit and asked if I wanted to make a selected playlist of songs, I hit yes to see what it was then I just hit clear playlist. Well then whenever I tried to update I kept getting a pop that said " Cant update because playlist no longer exsist". So I thought to just completely reinstall itunes and upload my music(yes a pain) it still doesnt really update its blank under ipod list but at that little bottom bar where it says how much is on there some it is filled and it says there's some music on there yet it doesnt show up. Im really not sure how to figure it how so I came here, plz help me!!!!

If you have more than 2GB of music, it won't all fit on your nano. iTunes will create a regular playlist with random samplings of your music until it has enough to fill the iPod, and then set the iPod up to only sync with that playlist. You can either use that playlist to manage what is on your iPod, or build playlists of your own. Or you can start managing the music on your iPod manually.
Sounds like you didn't clear the playlist that iTunes created, you deleted it. You got the error message because you didn't update the iPod preferences to give it a new playlist to sync with.
I use Smart Playlists to manage the music on my iPod. It randomly selects from music that hasn't been played in the last few months. That way every time I sync, music I've just heard goes away, and music I haven't heard in a while gets loaded.

Having the email address is not necessary. It is just the username for the device. All you need is that Apple ID and password. Now, if you forgotten the password, then you have more work to do. N8 camera setting confusion.plz help!

i have notice that when taking photo at 9mp,it takes the whole screen whereas when taking photos at 12mp, there are to black band on both side of the screen.

This is normal. Sony Ericsson Vivaz have the same thing. I noticed that the phone lacks auto focus similar to vivaz. You need to press the camera button to get a image focused. This works huh, less well. To get best "autofocus/picture" i noticed that you should press the take photo on the cell phone screen. It performs a better autofocus. I really hate that the phone dont autofocus all the time like my Logitech webbcam or old Vivaz phone... SE vivaz ran symbian also. In fact i hate it Nokia fix it!!!

1. Try "select text from user_views where view_name='D1_V';
BTW, no need to use "commit", CREATE VIEW is a DDL command, and DDLs do implicit commit.
2. Why do you want to use triggers ? You can do that in at least two other ways : cron jobs and Oracle jobs.

Had 1418 error.formatted as fat.not fat32.now ipod doesnt work.why?plz help

The iTunes keeps saying that:
"The iPod "IPOD" cannot be updated. The disk could not be read or written to"

And when I tried to restore it.
"The iPod "IPOD" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (1418)"
thats a dreaded problem and i researched at many forums on how to solve it.....
before reading ur reply....there were some other replies that i read.....
which told me to format my ipod into fat partition...and not fat32 partition....then we had to update it and then restoring it would be possible........
that was the only article which i came across and which had a solution to 1418 problem......
so i began my work....
but as soon as i formatted my ipod shuffle second generation into fat partition.......
i restarted my comp...and then.the ipod is no longer working.......
if i push it to on......then there is a constant green light on it which does not go off even if i connect it to comp. using the dock provided.......
if i put it off,the green light goes off....
ideally when an ipod shuffle is connected to pc..there is an orange light that starts blinking ,that shows that the ipod is being charged.
but now when i connect mine.....
the green light blinks only once......and then nothing happens...
the device isnt working and so i cant even solve my 1418 problem ,as now i even have the solution.......
help me plz....

its been just a month my uncle gifted me this ipod ...he stays in north carolina........and i stay in india.....
i dont even know if there are service centres of apple available in mumbai.and if they are,whether they are trust worthy or the ipod that i send to them might never to me and get stolen or something.....somebody might just keep it and say that its lost.......mumbai is not trustworthy.
but if there is a recognized apple service centre then i would want to go there and get my ipod repaired....i have one-year warranty with me.......but i dont know if the warranty of a product bought in north carolina works in india......

On top of the two suggestions already given, make sure that the drive letter being assigned to the ipod when you plug it in in windows is not also a drive letter being assigned to another drive. I've heard that this happens occasionally and can cause all kinds of conflicts, from problems you are describing to lockups when trying to sync.
I would also try it on a different computer to see if that helps. Maybe you've got a friend or a computer at work that you can install itunes on and give it a shot there. This will let you know whether it's a problem with your specific computer or if it's a problem with the ipod.
The fact that it runs in Windows and you were able to reformat the flash memory stick tells me that the Ipod is working, but that something on your computer is not.
P.S. Obviously you've had it for 90 days, So I must assume that the USB port is working correctly. Otherwise the Ipod's battery would have drained by now. So I don't believe it is a hardware issue. So move past that for right now and look to your computer's settings for the answer.

This may be caused by a corrupt existing backup that needs to be deleted, or by data on your device that is causing the backup to fail. To troubleshoot these, try deleting your last iCloud backup (if you have one) by turning off iCloud Backup in Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup, then tap Manage Storage, tap your device under Backups, then tap Delete Backup. Then go back and turn iCloud Backup back on and try backing up again.
If it still won't back up, you may have an app or something in your camera roll that is causing the backup to fail. To locate which one, go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage, tap the name of your device under Backups, under Backup Options tap Show All Apps, then turn them all to Off (including camera roll) and try backing up again. If the backup is successful, then the camera roll and/or one of your apps is causing the backup to fail and you'll have to located by process of elimination. Turn the camera roll On and try backing up again. If it succeeds, turn some of your apps to On and try backing up again. If it succeeds again, turn some more apps to On then try again; repeat this process until it fails. Eventually you'll be able to locate the problem app and exclude it from your backup.
In the meantime you can back up your phone to your computer by connect it, opening iTunes and going to File>Devices>Back Up. Also be sure to transfer your purchases (File>Devices>Transfer Purchases). Then set up your new phone and when given the option, choose Restore from iTunes Backup and follow the prompts to restore this backup to your new phone. This will be much faster than using iCloud anyway.

Okay every time i plug my ipod up to my laptop a message comes up and says one of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it. Can someone plz help me ive done everything.

I really need assistance/help with my ipod because it was working fine one day. Then the next day i decide to put more music on it then this message came up, and ive tried all the troubleshooting stuff and different links to help but still no success. But theres one thing i havent tried yet someone told me to buy another Apple charger and wall plug in to see if that works other than that i need help because i went to settings and erased everything off my ipod to see if that worked and it didnt so all my stuff is gone....Yeah i was ****** but plz help me!

I would first try unplugging All the USB devices plugged into your computer, and then plug back in just the iPhone and see if that is recognized. Also, do you have the latest version of iTunes for Windows installed on your PC, as you need to?

So i was putting some new songs on my iPod 20 GB, the one before the colour screen came. the operation hung itself up, for the first time. everything worked well with the ipod when i hooked it off. then i put it on again, and nothing worked. and now there are NO songs on the ipod, BUT i do not believe they are deleted, because both the ipod AND itunes says only 90 MB free space. but when i go on it on my harddrive, and try to check the music files on the ipod, all the folders are in strange chinese-like language, and i can't open anything!
PLZ, any advice? i CAN'T LOOSE MY MUSIC!! PLZ HELP!!!

I have installed 9iAS+8.1.7 database on the same machine with NT4 server.My system's forms(.fmx) are running well but my reports are not running from my main form.i call reports from the
from as,
Run_Product(reports,'..\iReports\xglrxx12.rep',synchronous,RUNTIME,FILESYSTEM,pl_id,null);
Actually want to know the report's setting when calling from the from in a browser(environment variables,virtual paths etc.).
My database is installed in drive E:\8idb_home\ and 9iAS is on
G:\9iAS_home\.My systems .fmx & .rep files are in "iforms" and "ireports" folder respectively.

Yes when i changed my call of run_product by excluding the path i have specified when calling from form it then makes a result.
Also specified the entry of your reports .rep files by giving path in reports60_path registery variable as,
Run regedit-->Hkey_Local_Machine-->Software-->Oracle here give the full path of your .rep files as an first entry in reports60_path variable.And finally not mention the path when calling reports from form as,
Run_Product(reports,'xglrxx13.rep',synchronous,RUNTIME,FILESYSTEM,pl_id,null);<--- Correct way.

Hello people,for months ive tried fixing my i-pod and nothing has worked....i try to restore my ipod maybe that would fix da problem but when i press the program,it says ipod service error,and before that it worked ok,it said preparing and stuff but it never stoped perapring the ipod it just got stuck,and in my itunes i see my ipod,but i cant put no music in it?Therefore i have the 2 colour lights all the time when i try to play it.and also when i try to update my ipod with the program u download from the net it says in the end of the installation:Service could not be deleted.All these problems,could someone plz help me,im turning insane!And i cant refund my ipod because i lost my recite and also the store isnt anymore there(My luck)but plz somebody answer me,thank u

I believe the green and orange light flashing means that you have no music on your iPod Shuffle (which seems correct as you have performed a restore). That is the way the iPod Shuffle tells you that it is looking for the next song. When the iPod Shuffle is plugged into your computer (XP user myself) the orange light is suppose to flash on and off (both the battery light if charging and the front light). When updating the iPod using the updater, I received the same error you received (iPod service error), but I believe it was because I was trying to update my iPod with the Sept 05 version when the iPod already had the Jan 06 update on it. I also noticed the "preparing" bug that you mentioned, by simply selecting next, the restore continues correctly. Once I restored my iPod to the factory settings AND performed the restore process THREE times using the Sept 05 updater (what came with my iPod Shuffle) I was able to store music AND listen to it once disconnected from my computer. My next task is to update the iPod with the Jan 06 update and try the process again but I believe there is a driver issue with this version and it may not work. If this is the case, I will just stick with the software received with the iPod. For you, I would attempt to reinstall the software from the CD that was provided with you iPod Shuffle, restore your iPod Shuffle to the factory settings and do this restore THREE times, start iTunes, once the iPod Shuffle shows up in the Source listing right click on it and select Update. Make sure songs copy over (the top centre of iTunes will tell you the status of the update) and finally disconnect and try playing music.
