Camera_Raw_4_4_1

I have got a new comp with W7 and reinstalled my CS3, and just as the other timesIhave reinstalled CS3 I get the message "Cannot complete your request, because this is not the right kind of document".
Like the other times, I replace the Camera_Raw_4_4_1, but this time it does not help.
So what do?

Get the ACR 4.6 for Windows here: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4036
Your issue should get resolved.
This is a zip file, and when I click on it, PS tell me that it cannot open it!!!
And when I use a zip programme, I get this message:

Good call, the file was toast. I'd used Image Capture (resident with OS) rather then the EOS Utility to download images. Using software that came with the camera everything works fine. Really appreciate your help.

  • Camera raw v4.41

i am using windows vista ultimate.i encountered this problem (below) while downloading camera raw 4.41 for my adobe cs3. any help will be appreciated.
Adobe reader could not open camera_raw_4_4_1.zip because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damage (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasnt correctly decoded).

For the records, the install location is via microsoft option and the camera is Nikon D70 and the operating system is Windows XP. However, what I have done is to update Camera Raw to 4.4.1 and it now seems to work, even though it previously had been updated to 4.3.1. The issue might have been that even though I had downloaded 4.3.1 before this all started, it had not been placed directly into the plug in folder for CS3 - this was probably the reason and my mistake.
    Thanks,
    Bob
