Camera raw 7.1 update error code U44M2P7 product cs6 - camera 600D/T3i

Received error code U44M2P7 while trying to update to camera raw 7.1 I'm running CS6 and my camera is a 600D/T3i

Delete the folder 1.0 (or simply cut-paste it on Desktop for sake of not losing it, just in case the solution doesn't work) from following location on your machine and try updating again.
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Adobe\AAMUpdater\1.0
Error happens when AAM is incorrectly installed for some reason.
Let me know if this doesn't work.

PSE11: Camera Raw 7.2 Update - Error Code: U43M1D204

Hi all
I uninstalled PSE10 from my notebook (Win7, SP1, 32-bit) and installed PSE11. Afterwards, I went to Help - Updates in order to install the most recent raw update. However, nothing seems to happen afterwards. I see "currently downloading" but the progress bar does not move. After a while, it terminates with the following error message:
There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later. Error Code: U43M1D204
I uninstalled PSE11 and re-installed it. Also, I deleted the content of the folder in AAMUpdater/1.0/ but this did not make a difference either. Unfortunately, the update file is not available for download yet (http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=106&platform=Windows).
I would appreciate if anyone could help me. I bought a new camera recently which requires this particular update.

Kindly follow the below mentioned steps to make sure your updates work fine:-
For Mac:
1) Restart your Mac
2) Launch PS
3) Go to Help - Updates - Preferences and make sure the box for ACR is checked.
4) Check for Updates
5) Select Camera Raw 6.7 update, Click on Update
else Run "AdobePatchInstaller.app" from the mounted Camera_Raw_6_7 dmg file you downloaded from adobe.com
6) Mac will ask you to enter your Password for the logged account. Enter the password.(Make sure you have full privileges)
7) Quit PS and let the updater run.
8) Quit Updater after successful installation
9) Verify ACR
For Win:
1) Restart your System
2) Launch PS
3) Go to Help -> Updates -> Preferences and make sure the box for ACR is checked.
4) If you are updating through Help->Updates, then Check for Updates, Select Camera Raw 6.7 update, Click on Update
else Run "AdobePatchInstaller.exe" from the unzipped Camera_Raw_6_7 updater folder you downloaded from adobe.com
5) Quit PS and let the updater run.
6) Quit Updater after successful installation
7) Verify ACR
ACR update should work fine now, if it still does not work, Please provide us with Camera Raw installer log file at

Program Fies(x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers

Camera Raw 7.3 Update errors

I sought to update my Bridge and Photoshop CS5 programs to Camera Raw 7.3, but continued to get an error message when downloading. I need to make this update to read some files I shot on Nikon's "NEF" raw system. The error message reads "Updates could not be applied," and, "There was an error installing this update. Please quit and try again later. Error Code: U44M1I21"
Have you had any experience with this? I'm hoping I don't have to reinstall the programs.... Aything helps, thatnks!

Photoshop 6 camera raw 4.6 update error

Hello, when I go to update my photoshop 6 elements software, it says there is an update available, called: "Adobe Camera Raw 4.6," available. But, when it tries to install it I get an error that says: "Unable to locate product to be updated." I am running a mac, osx 10.5.8. I'm wondering if this will become a problem as I am starting to process raw photos. Thanks for any advice.

If you want to use the raw images from your new camera in an older version of Camera Raw, you can convert the raw images to DNG.
When doing so, you even have an option to embed the original raw file in the DNG, which you can later extract if needed. So, you'd only need to keep the DNG versions of the files; no need to have duplicated data filling up your hard drive unnecessarily.

The new Update with the Patch for Camera Raw is not working. Code U44M1P34

Hi there,
i have a problem with the new CC Update - including the patch for Camera Raw 8.7.1
Error Code: U44M1P34
Photoshop CC (2014)
After Effects CC (2014)
Brisge CC
The logfile shows 1 fatal error:
FATAL: Payload 'Photoshop Camera Raw 8_8.7_AdobeCameraRaw8.0All 8.0.0.22 with a number following.
I have tried to uninstall an reinstall. Did not work at all, because the same Problem is shown.
I did not install in other folders. All other updates worked - but not this update. The problem seems to bee only caused by the Camera Raw Update.
Are there others with the same Problem? Any ideas?

it seems that i have found a dirty, but working solution for my problem on this site: Getting fatal Exit Code 34 when installing an app
To change these 3 folder names and reinstalling of my Programs worked fine without any errors:
Adobe PCD -> Adobe PCDold
backup -> backupold
caps -> capsold
Now the Programs are on the actual status with all updates included and everythings seems to be fine.

Camera Raw 8.7 update fail in CS6

The Camera Raw 8.7 update download fails in Photoshop CS6. I read a post elsewhere from someone with this same problem who said he was told to uninstall/reinstall Photoshop. Surely that cannot be the answer, and many people must be having trouble with this download. Please help! I cannot edit Lightroom 5 files in Photoshop CS6 now (I did download the update to LR5 with no problem).
FWIW the error message was:

I actually didn't know what this meant.
So I highlighted the error in my browser (Firefox) and did a Google search, which handily catches all the Adobe forum references as well as possible solutions outside of Adobe. Make a note of it, it's a great time-saver.

?unable to open raw photo file after downloading camera raw 7.4 update?

Can anyone help please.
I recently had my lap top wiped and have had to re load CS6. I have also downloaded the camera raw 7.4 update (I use a Nikon D7100 camera) The update downloads without any problems, I go through download, install and then finish, but I still am unable to open my raw photos. I get the following message... 'if you are attempting to open a raw file from a digital camera, make sure you have the latest raw camera update installed'. I have no idea why it is doing this, or how to combat it. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You probably already have camera raw 6.7 installed, so thats why you get the error message.
(under Photoshop>About Plug-in>Camera Raw or Help>About Plug-in>Camera Raw, see which version it says)
Since that camera requires at least camera raw 7.4 and cs5 can only use up to camera raw 6.7, you'd need to
use the 8.3 dng converter to convert your files to dng copies which can then be opened in photoshop cs5.

The reason i ask, even though you wrote cs6, is the camera raw 6.7 update is for photoshop cs5.
Did you try Help>Updates from within photoshop to get the most recent version of camera raw, which is 8.7 for photoshop cs6?

I am trying to install the Camera Raw 7.2 Update for Photoshop CS6. When I try to install I get this error message:

I have rebooted and tried again, but I got the same error. I downloaded the update manually, since it isn't available in the Application Manager.
