Camera raw opening doesn't work under bridge
I can not open raw files with camera raw under Adobe Bridge. I have fot a registered version of Photoshop Elements 11, and here camera raw is working very well. But in Adobe Bridge I get the Message Box: Bridge's Parent Application is Not Active, Bridge Requires That a Qualifying Product Has Been Launch.
What I have to do?

PS Elements 8 came with Adobe Bridge CS4. This was the only Elements version that worked with Bridge. Elements has a simplified version of ACR offering less option then the full ACR in Photoshop.
Each CS version uses a different version of Bridge and also a different ACR version, you can't mix them.
Only ACR 8 works with both CS6 and CC. To my knowledge Adobe will continue updating ACR with new camera models in CS6 but it will not offer all the other new ACR features that will be presented in CC.

Let's see if I can simplify it for you...are you using CS6 (yes, it seems), are you having ACR problems (yess it seems). So, do you want to fix your issues? Then read this (pay close attention to the details)...

It pretty much says you need to download a different version of ACR and install it (if it's not too diffucult for you to understand) to get ACR & Bridge to work properly...or not. Your choice... -
How to get Camera Raw 6.7 to work in Bridge CS5?
I've read past posts about the ways to fix this problem, but they don't work for me. I'm using a pc with windows 8.1. I've downloaded and installed Camera Raw 6.7 update and when I select "Help, Update" in Bridge, it says I have the latest updates installed..
In what way is ACR not working in Bridge? Is there no right-click Open in Camera Raw available from Bridge, or there is, but the ACR version is less than ACR 6.7.1 or what exactly is the issue?
Also, if you open Photoshop and do Help / About Plug-ins / Camera Raw, is ACR missing from the list, or if not, what version does it say is installed?
You might also want to describe what methods you have tried to correct the issue, since saying you've tried what you've seen posted and they didn't work, isn't really much to go on. -
Camera raw 9 doesn`t work, why?
Since I updated my photoshop CC 2014 four days ago and got camera raw 9 , I can not open any pictures in camera raw. The file number shows up, but the space is blue and empty, What shall I do to solve the problem?
I use a Canon 60D.

It's related to the new GPU support. You need to update your graphics card drivers, or disable GPU accelerated performance setting in Camera Raw preferences. If you'd read through this forum, you'd have seen lots of people have this issue. -
My App store doesn´t work under my user. Everything is ok if I start with a guest user. I have a Yosemite MacBook Pro. How can I solve this? Because I'm unable to open the App Store, Mail, Contacts and so on. Please can you help me.

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost.

How to get Camera RAW / Photoshop CS5 to work with Canon 100D? I don't want to by this product again and again...
In what way is ACR not working in Bridge? Is there no right-click Open in Camera Raw available from Bridge, or there is, but the ACR version is less than ACR 6.7.1 or what exactly is the issue?
Also, if you open Photoshop and do Help / About Plug-ins / Camera Raw, is ACR missing from the list, or if not, what version does it say is installed?
You might also want to describe what methods you have tried to correct the issue, since saying you've tried what you've seen posted and they didn't work, isn't really much to go on. -

Camera RAW 431 won't work on my Vista 64 machine. I keep getting the error that it's the wrong file type when trying to open the RAW file, and I get no thumbnails. I've deleted all cache files manually--not using the Adobe help because their wrong about their file locations, that's for Windows XP and not Vista. (You can't access "Documents and Settings" in Vista, and there is no:
Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CS3\File Formats
Vista:Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CS3\File Formats
I even uninstalled the entire CS3 Suite and reinstalled it. It still won't work. In fact, I can't even use the old raw plugin file anymore--it now won't open RAW files either.
Anyway, I just need a confirmation that Camera RAW 431 actually works in Vista 64, since the directions do not in the least relate to Vista 64, but, rather, Windows XP, and the method used to get RAW 431 to work in Vista 64.

"C:\Program Files (x86)\" is the location of 32-bit apps (like Photoshop CS3) in 64-bit Vista. It is known as simply "C:\Program Files\" in all 32-bit editions of Windows. Since the vast majority of Windows/Photoshop users are likely still on a 32-bit platform, it is understandable why the instructions omit the 64-bit specific folder path.
The VirtualStore copy indicates that at some point, you (or Photoshop) attempted a programmatic update of the file, and it attempted to write into the restricted Common Files folder. Vista redirected that to the VirtualStore folder instead. On my 64-bit Vista install, I have no Adobe files in there at all... this is likely due to my insistence on manual updates.
I would try this:
1. Backup all your personal Photoshop files (actions, palettes, window positions, keyboard shortcuts, brushes, etc.).
2. Uninstall Photoshop CS3 as best you can.
3. Manually delete all Photoshop-related folders inside the VirtualStore. You may have to look inside both the virtualised "Program Files (x86)\Common Files" and "Program Files (x86)\Adobe" folders.
4. Run the WinCS3Clean script to ensure there are no problematic bits left over from your beta CS3 install. I'm hoping your manual excursion through the Windows registry did not hurt more than it helped.
5. Reinstall CS3 and manually update the "Camera Raw.8bi" plugin. I put mine in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CS3\File Formats\".
Depending on how your OS is configured, it may be easier if you login as Administrator first. Photoshop CS3, Bridge 2.1, ACR 4.4 (and all previous versions) and Lightroom 1.4 (and all previous versions) work as expected on my 64-bit Vista machine here, so this is not a general compatibility issue. -

I installed JDeveloper 11.1.2.4 on my Windows 8 machine and then the ADF Mobile extension. I can open the previewer for ADF Mobile. So there is no problem with this on Windows 8. I used the generic installation, which is that I installed the JDK and then run the Java -jar command for the JDeveloper install.

We had the same problem, but figure out the solution.
You MUST have at least 1 song added to your ITUNE! After you add a free song, then everything else should work as normal!

I did the same under SL but no result.
Any suggestion?The procedure of using the CAPT folder from a previous version of OS X was not always successful with 10.5, let alone 10.6. For those like you that did find it worked, there were many others that found the workaround did not work for them.

If this new driver does not work with the LPB2900 then another solution would be to have an old Windows XP computer connected to the LBP2900 and then use the following procedure to print to it from the Mac.
