Camera recording in E5

Hi all,
can anyone please help me in finding the solution for this..
In my 6 month old E5 mobile phone, unable to record video continuously, it will stop/struck very offen in between. The movie recorded is not continuous. why this and wat is the solution?????

this is there for a reason its now law in most countries to have this noise,this is to make people aware there is somebody taking photos.

Multiple camera recording question

Ok so if i have multiple cameras and one of them triggers and is recording can another record at the same time. it looks like when this happens i lose a video. the triggers are all in the activioty log but no video is there to see.

From my experience the cameras record independently. The motion sensor mode however is not enough for consistent recordings with the wireless cameras. I had to create a second timed mode for each wireless camera and set it to run all day. The issue I have now is consistently viewing the recordings. I keep getting an "unable to play" message! always something!

Looking for forums for Sony digital video camera recorder DCR-TRV 11

I've been thinking hard and decided that I WILL use my Sony digital video camera recorder DCR-TRV 11. (I was being tempted by a smaller Sony that has a 40x optical zoom.
Question: Do you know of where I can find a good forum for this brand and model? I Googled it but would like personal recommendations.

Pan and Tilt Camera Recording Duration

Whenever my Pan and Tilt camera motion sensor goes off, it only records 12 seconds and not the full 30 seconds it should. My other regular inside camera records motion for the full 30 seconds.
Anyone else notice this? I've looked for a setting but as of yet have not found one to change. If you know of one please let me know.
The time stamps on my email notifications show 20 seconds (28:50 - 29:10) but as you can see on the screen snapshot, it only shows 12 seconds. Just to say it before someone asks, yes the 12 seconds is the total time and not the remaining time. Sorry I just had to add that.

I use to have the same problems and found a solution. try this:
1. Export via Final Cut Pro using a quicktime export (not quicktime conversion!) Use your current settings. Now you should have a full quality exported Quicktime file.
2. From there, open DVD SP and go to your preferences. Click on the encode tab and set your SD encoding settings. I advise using
2 Pass VBR Best
Avg Bit Rate 5
Max Bit Rate 7 (I dont see the need for 9 as I have been told 7 does a similar job and saves room for audio bit rate)
Motion Estimatio: best
I like to set it for background encoding as well, but you can encode on build too.
3. Click the apply button
4. Now, bring in you full export file from step 1. You will see the progress in your asset tab (if you background encode). Done!
This should work for you as it has for me. I think the reason is because DVD SP does hardware encoding rather than software encoding, but this is only my guess. And FYI, compressor is completely fixed on mpeg2 encoding in version 3, but I still find myself using the above route simply because it has never failed me and is much more reliable.

I got an error cannot Find url when i attempt to play my camera recorded video from my iphone 4S 32 gig. I try to restart my phone but still no luck. There was no problem previously, but suddenly i got this problem with no reason. I also unable to copy the video to my computer using itunes. So please helppp...

See if it helps to delete the firmware file and download a new one:
Rename, move, or delete the iOS software file (.ipsw)
iTunes uses "ipsw" files to restore your iPod or iPhone. If those files are unusable, then try deleting them, renaming them, or moving the file to a different directory. This will cause iTunes to download a new copy of the IPSW. When a restore issue is specific to a user, it is likely due to an unusable .ipsw file. If removing the .ipsw file does not resolve a user-specific restore issue, then the issue is caused by other user-specific security software settings or iTunes preferences. Creating a new user will also cause new .ipsw restore files to be downloaded in the new user. You can find the ".ipsw" files in these locations:

iPhone
~/Library/iTunes/iPhone Software Updates
iPad
~/Library/iTunes/iPad Software Updates
iPod touch
~/Library/iTunes/iPod Software Updates
Note: The tilde "~" represents your Home directory.

How can I get the "Multi-Camera Record" button to show up in the Multi-Camera editor?

I've used the Multi-Camera editor in Premiere for years but in the most recent update (Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014) I can't get the Multi-Camera Editor to record my camera switches. I looked for the Multi-Camera Record button but it wasn't where it used to be, and even when hitting the plus sign to add more buttons it does not appear in that menu either.
What am I missing here? Please help. Thank you.

HV20 Camcorder Camera/Record Mode shows intermittent black & white fuzzy screen

I rarely use this camcorder since owning it and most of the time it's stored in its camcorder bag until the next big special event (e.g. a wedding). It is very well taken care of and looks like new. One day I took it out to check on and playing back recorded videos on the minidv tapes were fine, clear and perfect. However, once I switch the mode to Camera/Recording mode, the screen changes to a fuzzy black & white screen, then fades into another black & white screen, then fades into a perfect color screen, and then back to fuzzy black & white screen again. The screen continually cycles like this nonstop. I tried recording a random video (see attached youtube video link: http://youtu.be/akR8OGsIEaY) to see if playing it back would be perfect and the playback video was exactly what I recorded... fuzzy black & white screen intermittently changing in and out. I again left the camcorder in storage until today when I wanted to use it for a wedding tomorrow. I searched for troubleshooting help and many people seem to suggest a head cleaner. I found one from RadioShack and ran it through the camcorder but the Camera/Record mode is still the same. What is wrong with my camcorder? I take really good care of it and rarely use it. Do I need to send it in for repair? If so, what are the steps and process for doing so? Thank you in advance.

It may be time to send the camera in, or maybe put it to rest and think of upgrading. I only use my HV30 as an AV/DV converter now, and haved moved on to an HFM40, I bought one here at Canon, refurbed, great camera, great price.

Only Photo Booth flips video clips. LOL ??? Neither iMovie nor QuickTime Pro flip video recordings. Use one of them if you want the video recorded right-way-around.
If you want to use Photo Booth to make the video clips, you can still turn them around _after they are recorded_ as explained in the link that Defcom provided earlier, but you will need to click on the link and follow those instructions.

Problem camera Recording

Hello,
I have a G20 and on the back of it there is a S-video in port. As far as I know i must then be able to record my camcorder vhs films . Using Intervideo windvd does however nothing. Using pinaclle studio 9 recognizes a tv port but stll no images here. I am sure that my vcr is ok. Connecting it with an s-video cable to a flat tv is working fine. I just hoped that (this expensive) notebook would do the things I bought him for. Connecting the camera with the rgb cables does not work either.
I hope someone found a solution on this.

Hi Ronny,
Assuming that you have WinDVD 4 installed, I believe this is only a player rather than a recorder so I would not be surprised that it does not see your input from your VCR.
Pinnacle, on the other hand should be able to see your S-Video input source. Check the Pinnacle data capture device configuration settings to make sure that it is correctly setting S-Video as the input source rather than Composite (RGB).
It is also worth checking that the S-Video port on your VCR is actually an output not an input port. Many VCRs have s-video as an input-only option to allow a signal to be recorded on the VCR.

IMovie and Digital Camera Recording

I was able to use a digital video camera as a passthrough to burn copies of old family film (VHS). I am running OS 10.9 and iMovie 10.0.1 and can't get any recorded video. It says it is recording, but I am not getting any available clips from it. Please help.

The Raw Camera support is not a separate program but is part of the OS. The file is not really all that large in the scheme of things and removing it might impact the operation of your system.
I would strongly suggest you don't do it. It use to be possible to ignore particular updates, not sure if it is still possible given the whole App Store thing.
iMovie is a different story. It is a separate application and removing it will not impact the system.

Can I have my camera record HDV to tape while OnLocation records a SD version ?

I want to shoot my video in HDV. But for now im downconverting to SD for a standard DVD project.
Is this even possible ?
Is there anyway to record 2 at the same time ( example: HDV & SD ) ?
I want to have the HDV recorded to miniDV for blu-ray someday.

Maybe someday they will make this a feature on cameras now that more and more are going to HD.
Then again maybe we could get rid of SD all together and move to HD.
I know for me when watching TV if i have a choice I only watch HD.

Action Cam, Recording blank files

I have an action cam with a 64gb Sandisk Card, when i set it to record it will record files of 10-12 mins at a time instead of continuous, which is fine, but after 4 files the 5th an on are totally blank, they had a data size, 1.77gb, a file name as normal, and a type .mp4 as normal. But there is no no video same with any photographs, the are all blank........ When I later added a new file without the watch it was a blank file again, if using the watch instead of just the button on camera, it works fine again. Does this mean I need to always use the watch, I paddleboard and the watch is just a pain to use all the time....

I was having exactly the same problem and fingers crossed I have sussed it. Well it worked for me, hopefully you too! The problem I had was I got a 64GB card and noticed as soon as the clip got to anythinging bigger than a few hundred MB it would not download to PC or play back for love nor money, either through the PC or the Camera app on iphone/ipad etc. I have seen EE's advice, download VLC. Well I tried that and I tried every player I had, Itunes, VLC, etc etc, all coming back with various messages, mainly saying the codec must be corrupted. EE were unable to help so..... Try formatting the card from the camera itself and not in the PC. It's in the settings, just go through the menu and you will find it. Format it in situ and voila! Now I did not do this previously beacuse as soon as i got the card and put it in the camera it seemed to work fine as I did a quick short clip to test it. It seemed that as they get bigger they did not work. Unfortunately you will lose everything you have recorded and you will not be able to recover them. I can say it has worked perfectly since, any size and EVERY time. Good luck and if this works, pass it on! It seems a common problem so hopefully, if this works for everyone, EE will add it onto the quick links.

WVC80-N Cisco/Linksys Home Monitoring Camera - recording schedule

Hi there. I have 2 questions regarding the camera. First, in the web interface, there is a menu tab for setting the recording schedule. You can select "start recording now" or "define recording schedule". The only problem is that it gives you a starting time and date and an ending time and date. Is there a way to select a schedule such as 8:00-10:00AM every week day? It seems to only allow me 1 range.
I see on the monitoring software there is a client that allows you to set a schedule like that. However, I want to stay away from a client if possible. (one more thing to flake out).
Also, is there a good viewer/organizer for the video files created? It looks like if I just use the camera web interface, it just dumps the files into a directory on the NAS drive that I choose. Does the pc client software import these files?

You could consider using motion detection because it has more range compare to selecting the recording option; but then again the videos will only be sent either through email or ftp server. As for your 2nd query, there is actually no software (from linksys) that could organize or import the videos saved from this camera. Perhaps, there is a third party software will be able to do that.

Vsom 7.0 Camera Recording Bug on vmware

One of our installation we have a vsom and one media server on a ucs-c-220 and they are all running on two virtual deployed part. In the architecture we have 20 indoor Nd outdoor 6400 and 6020 sweries cameras and they are all recording to a netapp with iscsi all cameras are recording 1080p and 10 fps but 4 cameras are deleting from last 5 hours. When we choose other caneras they are recording overall 20 days but these 4 cameras Re recording only last 5-6 hours. Is there any one who live this problem?

For those with similar issues in the future as it looks like this is a dated issue at this point.
Are these four cameras located on the same media server? If so please follow steps below
Please check the media partition those specific cameras are being saved to which are found in
https://<VSMS_ip_address>/vsmc --> Monitor --> Media Server --> Recordings
note the media#/#### the "Media#" indicates the partition
then in VSOM click on System Settings tab then Servers link
select the server the cameras are located on
In the services section select the advance clipboard on the Media Server row
Then here you will be able to coorelate the "Media#" partitions and see if they are full or close to the thresh hold you set
If your media partitions are well below your set thresh holds please open a TAC case so we can dig deeper
