Camera roll is behind the Albums title and I cant open it

**This is a repost of a previous discussion that was archived, however it was never answered and I am having this issue as well**
Does anyone know how to fix this issue? When I go to my "Photos" it gives me an option to see albums or places. I pull up albums and I can see my camera roll option but its at the top of the screen underneath "Albums" which is a gray heading. I can pull the camera roll down a bit so I can see it, but it doesn't open it.
I can get to the pictures by going through the camera app but I'd like to use it through photos...which I have been able to do in the past. I updated my iphone today so I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this issue.

Looks like this is indeed a bug and Apple (at some point) will get it fixed:
"Bug ID# 8939062. After further investigation it has been determined that this is a known issue, which is currently being investigated by engineering. This issue has been filed in the bug database under the original Bug ID# 8706984."
The workaround is to kill the app from the taskbar, then relaunch.
For this " Double tap the home button to bring up the multi-tasking bar, tap & hold the "Photos" icon until it starts to wiggle, tap the red minus sign to close it. Tap the home button when finished. See if doing this fixes things. "
It works smoothly n without rebooting your phone!

Ive downloaded the latest version of itunes and now i cant open itunes. it says im missing something but when i go to download it again just to be safe it keeps saying the same thing and i cant open my itunes anymore

I cant open my itunes. it said i needed to download the 10.5.2 version to be able to upload the songs to my new ipod (touch) and when i went to do that my itunes wont open at all. me and my mom tried everything. i even went on my brothers account to get at least some songs and his did the same thing even though i didnt download it to the newest version. after i downloaded the lastest version and tried to open my itunes it said it was missing something so i went and downloaded it again. i know that was probably bad to do but i didnt know what else to do. even though i went and did that it keeps saying that im missing something. i dont know what to do to get my itunes to work again and if ill have to redownload all my songs and videos again.

Plug your iPod into your computer, it will begin to sync. Now check to see if the playlists have been added.
If not, go to the songs tab under your iPod when it is connected to iTunes, Unless you have checked "Sync all songs (or something to those words)" you should have an option on what you can put on your iPod. Make sure to check the playlists that you want on your iPod.

I downloaded the new update, and now cant open itunes

The following Knowledge Base article addresses the very issue you're describing:

Check for .dll files
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.
Reboot your computer.
Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.
Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.
Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.

In my Itunes library label: My Music albums content is missing even if I down loaded from a personal CD. I was trying to make up some playlists and the music is not there but the album title and tile is.anyone have any suggestions.

I have a Dell Desktop Optiplex 380 with Windows 7 operating system. regarding use of I-Tunes library and making playlists from "My Music"I went to My Music clicked on the album tile to drag to the new playlist and all of the albums are empty. Like the tracks are labeled but not there There is a note to go to the store and buy each track for 0.99. These Albums have been in the system for several years. where are they, and what happens to them. Do I need to import again. which could be a pain
Would appreciate any suggestions.

Known bug. Quit the Camera App, double-tap the home key and delete Camera from the recent apps bar. Fire it up again, should be good.

How do I copy photos from Camera Roll to personal photo album? iPhone 4 and pc

I have an iPhone 4 and use pc....
I want to copy a few pics from Camera Roll to my personal album. I'd like to copy them and then remove them from Camera roll. Then, I'd like to be able to organize folders in my personal album so I don't have to look through all 500 pics to find what I'm looking for. The pictures on my pc are in folders but they all get put together in one folder on the phone. I hope this makes sense. Thank you in advance. Ü

You can't. It doesn't work that way.
the new album that you created doesn't contain a copy of the actual photo. It contains a pointer to that photo. If you delete it from the camera roll, you will delete it from the album that you created as well. Albums that you create on the iPad in the Photos app are for local organization only and cannot be transfer or imported to your computer, because there really are no photos in those albums

How did the photos get onto the phone ? Only photos taken with the phone or saved from emails/websites etc can be deleted directly on the device. Photos that were synced from your computer are deleted by moving/removing/de-selecting them from where they were synced from on your computer and then re-syncing.

At the moment no, you cannot move photos between albums in the Photos app directly on the iPad - but with iOS 5 (which will be free to download) in the Autumn, from http://www.apple.com/ios/ios5/features.html#photos :

Thanks for contacting Apple Support Communities. I agree with your assessment that something is going on with that previous backup. If you restored from that backup and the issue continues, I would recommend restoring and Set up as new. Before you restore, make sure you Transfer content so that you can sync it back after setting up as new. The instructions on how to Transfer content and Set up as new are both listed in this article.

2. Transfer content
Before you erase your device, take a few minutes to transfer your content from your device to your computer to ensure that all your critical data is safe.

Skip the Apple ID sign-in, in case the original issue was related to any of your content on iCloud.

After erasing and setting up as a new device, your device is now in a factory configuration. Test to determine if erasing and setting up as a new device resolved the issue. Content on the device may have caused unexpected behavior.

If the issue is now resolved, sync one type of content at a time back to the device. For example, if you had an issue playing music, add songs from iTunes and confirm they will play. If your contacts weren't loading successfully, add the contacts back. After each sync, test to see if the issue has returned.

If these are albums, you created on your phone, using pics in your camera roll, you delete the pics from your camera roll & they will be deleted from the albums as well. The albums don't actually contain any photos, only pointers to the actual photos, which are in your camera roll.
So, the answer to your question is no.

They will be erased. The backup only includes the data (and photos) on the iPad at the time of the backup. To keep your photos permanently, import them to your computer as explained here before deleting them: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.
