Camera Shake Reduction Error

Wanted to use this new, cool tool, but got the error message "No more virtual tiles can be allocated". ???
This is not a scratch disk error, as I have two-2TB drives as my scratch disks (nothing on either yet). 16GB memory (RAM), 14680MB available memory to PS, 2030 available VRAM. Running nVida GeForce GTX 670 on a Intel Core i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz.
Is this a GPU function that may not be available to some graphic cards? Is my image too big (4000x3000px)?

Reduced the image to 1000px and it worked great. Obviously, 4000px @180dpi was just too much information to render. That's surprising with the size of machine I'm running, but maybe my settings need to be adjusted. Any advice on that?

Unfortunately, the Camera Shake Reduction filter is only available in photoshop cc and cc 2014, which is part of the creative cloud, not in any version of photoshop elements.

Camera shake reduction filter - double exposure blur problem

I am having a problem using the camera shake reduction filter to work on a digital image of an old photo which had a clear cut motion blur which formed a
double exposure when the camera motion stopped... this can be seen when the image is enlarged. Is it possible to sharpen these type of images ?

Can you post a small bit of it?
Usually the Shake Reduction tool will improve an image some, especially if you hunt around with the position, size, and shape of the analysis region until it gets it just about right, but there's really not a magical fix for motion-blurred images. Such an image, with whatever recovery mechanism, will not ever look as an image that's well-exposed to begin with.

For best results, where should the Camera Shake Reduction filter be positioned in the workflow? At the beginning? Toward the end? Before or after noise reduction? What about applying any of the sharpening tools or techniques in conjunction with the Shake Reduction filter?

Shake Reduction error

I get this error pop up when trying to use the "Shake Reduction" filter in Photoshop CC.
Running on a Windows 7 PC with 16 gigs of ram.
Does this error mean anything to anyone? I have tried restarting the PC and still get this. I have made no configurations to Photoshop since I last used this filter and have no idea how to fix this.

Camera Shake Reduction Filter

I can't find the shake reduction tool under the sharpen filter. I have checked for Photoshop CC updates, but there are no further updates required/available. Any help would be appreciated...thanks.

Camera shake filter missing in Photoshop CC

I have dowloaded the Trial version of Photoshop CC in Spanish and everything is fine with one exception: the camera shake filter option does not appear on the list of options.
Has anybody had this problem?
If yes, how to solve it?

I think you have unrealistic expectations of the Shake Reduction Filter.
That photo is terrible; it should be re-shot. That is exactly what the message is telling you.
What I see there is NOT camera shake, but out-of-focus blur or soft-lens blur. If you happened to be using one of the so called kit-lenses from Nikon, you should know by now that, compared to the better lenses by Nikon, the kit-lenses are literally garbage. The same situation exists with the kit-lenses bundled with Canon cameras.
You're obviously on Windows, and I don't do windows, so that's all I can comment.

Select a raw dng image in LR 5 and right-click to edit in Photoshop CC.
Then, following the steps in all the video tutorials, choose Filter->Sharpen->Shake Reduction.
Viola, you will receive an error message "No new virtual tiles can be allocated".
Does this feature work on the latest released CC?

Usually means you're out of scratch disk space.
And that feature wasn't even introduced until Photoshop CC.

Premiere Elements 4 - shake reduction

In Cyberlink Power Director Express there is a function to magically steady footage (handy when it was shot by my kids on their first outing with a video camera).
I didn't see anything in PE4 but a quick search on this forum brings up a plugin for Pr Pro called "SteadyMove" but then discussions that I can't follow easily about compatibility on various versions.
Given that I have Cyblerlink and am already exporting to DV-AVI from there I can apply its shake reduction before export. But if the plugin is free, and works with PE4, then it might be worth using there instead.
What shake-reduction options are there for PE4?

SteadyMove unfortunately is not free, there was an educational version that was free that you could download and it was also given away with Premiere Pro, infact I downloaded the educational version and used it with Premiere Elements for a while, but I think they removed the link.
PE7 has a stablizier included, similar to the one in Power Director I quess. Your best bet is to export from Power Director as a DV-AVI and then bring this into PE4 for further editing.
If you want a really good stablizier then I can recommend Mercalli... it is very good, unfortunately not free.

Photoshop CC Sharpen - Camera Shake tool. Why can't I access this tool.

PS CC Sharpen - Camera Shake tool, has anybody had problems accessing this tool and has an answer to overcome the problem.
