Camera/torch not working iPhone 5s after update

As soon as I was prompted to update to 8.1, camera stopped working, just a black screen with no image.
But the camera works in Instagram so I know it's not the hardware. Added to this, the torch does not work either.
I assume the torch is linked to the camera flash.
Tried soft reset, deleting any conflicting apps etc.
Any ideas?

That is intentional. The Camera Roll album is no longer show as a separate album, also My Photo Stream is no longer a separate album. This Help document explains, where you will see the photos now.

Have you enabled the "Summarise Photos" option? Then disable it.

It's normal, it's replaced with another folder.
and now you can recuperate your deleted pictures from a folder or after 30 days they will be deleted.

Camera & Torch not working

Hello,
Since December 2014 my phone camera has not been working.
A few times I would restart, and it would work again for a day or so, then it would stop working again.
I get 3 different error messages (screenshots attached in this message).
The most common error is: "The camera can't be started".
I have tried restarting. Turning the phone totally off and on again. Deleting Whatsapp (this is the only app I have on my phone as it's the only one I use). I downloaded the Blackberry Virtual Helper (BBVE) and that tells me that the Camera is in use. But no other programs are using the Camera. I have also completely reset the phone back to factory settings, and again, it still does not work. I have searched and searched online for help with my problem but I can't find any help.
The torch also doesn't work. If I restart the phone, it may work to begin with but soon enough, that will stop working too. I don't care so much about the torch as I do the camera.
I was given the phone as a present so I have no proof of purchase, no receipts and no knowledge as to where the phone was purchased.
Can anyone help?

AppleTv2: HDCP suddenly not working on netflix after update

I have had a working AppleTV2 for about a year and have been using netflix to stream movies. After most recent update I can no longer stream due to HDCP error. There are been no changes to the hardware (cables, TV, power, etc.) This can only point to the update. I tried to do a restore from Mac to the most recent update. I took it into the genius bar and they tried to do the same thing. No change, they only offer the $69 Service replacement. I have tried changing the outputs, the hdmi cable and powering up in a certain manner. None of these work? Why is this suddenly not working?

Interesting (albeit, odd) addition to this issue --
on my work system (dual G5, decked out, 23" Cinema), the same issue started to happen after the QT upgrade... however in my situation, the movie would load, but then just sit there, frozen.
The first time I saw this, I started to move my mouse across the web page, and noticed that every time the pointer would roll over a URL link or any other rollover type of object within the browser window (e.g., a link or even a tab or bookmark shortcut in the Safari toolbar) the movie would suddenly start and stop, but just for a fraction of a second. But yet, if I just leave my mouse sitting on top of the URL or rollover object, it does nothing. It appears to be directly related to the action of roll-on or roll-out from other objects on the page, or within the overall window.
So basically, if I take my mouse and move it ridiculously fast back and forth over any one of these rollover items, the movie will play for a fraction of a second each time the pointer passes over the object and makes it highlight... something to the effect of watching a flip-book animation that stutters along.
Very bizarre -- not sure what happened with the update, but hoping that there is a patch released soon. It would appear that it's conflicting with other objects within the window, or it's waiting for some action on another rollover-type of item that is loaded within the overall window.

Camer Videos not working iPhone 5S

TTaking a video with my camera no longer works. This is iPhone 5S. the red shutter button functions and it shows its recording but when I click the button to stop I hear a beep and it stops. However there is no video saved in the photos of the recording. Have the latest iOS 8.

The following Knowledge Base article offers up some great recommendations for troubleshooting issues when iOS is not functioning as expected and may help you in resolving the issue with your Camera app:
iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
If a single application is not responding or stops responding when it opens, you can force it to close.
If the device is unresponsive or if certain controls aren't working as expected, restart your device.
If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), reset your device.
If there is no video or if the screen remains black, verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:
If you are using an iPad, ensure that it's connected to the USB Power Adapter supplied with the device.
Let it charge for at least twenty minutes, then see if it starts normally.
If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.
If the screen displays a red battery icon, continue charging the device until the battery is fully charged. Learn more about charging iPhone and iPod touch, or iPad.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, or the if the screen remains black or shows a persistent Apple logo, try restoring with iTunes:
Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.

Mail not working at all after update. :(

My update installed fine but now my mail isn't working. It spools but nothing new loads.

I have the same problem. Mail, iPhoto, iWeb, Calender, Reminders and Notes not open after update. Says, "check with the developer to make sure Mail works with this version of OS X. You may need to reinstall the application." Also says

My "Maps" will not work out routes after update

After updating the OS the "Maps" will not work out routes. I keep receiving "directions ont available" even for a 1km straight road...Is there an application or update to resolve this?

WHat is not working? Which map app are you using? I use the built in app without any problem on my trips from Ohio to South Carolina. Wherever I stop, I can see my current location. I don't use it for navigation all the time but one time I was a passenger in the car and followed our trip on my phone.

Hello, Premkoli. Which specific apps are you referring to? Are these apps downloaded from the Store, or preloaded ones? When you say 'my apps not working with tata docomo only', does it mean that these apps work with other SIM cards aside from TaTa Docomo? How did you update your Nokia C2-00? Is it by going to Settings > Phone > Device Updates > Check for updates, or via Nokia Suite?
Since the issue started after the software update, you can try to reinstall the phone's SW via Nokia Suite. Just download it on your PC, and then connect the phone via a compatible USB cable. After that, launch Nokia Suite, and the go to SW Updates > Device Software Updates > Reinstall current SW. After that, try opening the same apps and see if they'll work with your Docomo SIM card. Since this past Wednesday (after updating to ios 7.1) neither of my kid's ipad 2s can use imessage to text either mine or my wife's iphones.
What can I do to fix this?
We can even connect to the imessage network with the ipads.

When i plugged my blackberry into my PC it wanted to update the bundle/version of something on curve, everything was working fine until i updated this...
(the bundle 6.0.2534 thing...)
Now when I try to set up my e-mail it shows my 3 accounts i had linked with my blackberry (a hotmail, a orange.blackberry, and a gmail) but when i type the password and click "verify" it shows "unable to continue session please log in again"
I read online that it could be the version of email software I was running, so - i found the most current and i updated that, still; same problem.
I've battery pulled, i've security wiped, i've done everything I can think of.
Is there anything I can do, or is this something i'll have to ring ORANGE about?...
i DO have a blackberry data plan also...
Also, it's only personal/internet emails i'm trying to set up not enterprise

I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
1) Register HRT
KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
2) Delete and Resend Service Books
KB05000Delete the service book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account from the BlackBerry smartphone
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
3) Batt Pull Reboot
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should try deleting and re-adding your BIS conduits for the affected email accounts.

Who knows?
Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Tap your ID and sign out. Reboot your iPad.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Go back to the settings and sign back in again and see of it works now.
If it doesn't work, post back with some information that might help us help you. Describe what you are doing in some detail and it might let us better understand why this is happening.
