Camera zoom not working on 3g 3.0 upgrade

i upgraded to 3.0 and then downloaded camera zoom app it do's not work apple said i to delete it and redownload it if that do's not work contact the maker he said they put a update out but apple needs to prove it frist . that can i do???

Thanks for the pointer on the wired Mic, in all my efforts to make the application work with bluetooth, I completely forgot about the most obvious solution.

As for writing in Caps, I have to admit I never really paid much attention to caps or no caps. I simply typed and if I hit the lock button I continued on.

Have you tried a battery pull restart if not then try it ,If that doesn't help you can try Reloading your device software to rule out any software issue.Try it it may help :

Permanent Fix to camera zoom not working.....??!!

This is the 3rd time my camera won't zoom on my bb curve 8520.
I know it can be temporarily fixed by a battery reset.
However, this is really frustrating to keep doing.....
Is there a more permanent solution ?

"Fixes" for things like that would normally involve updating your BB OS (unless, of course, it is some other conflict...I have been investigating a camera problem that is caused by a completely unrelated app). I suggest you use this procedure to do so:

While written for "reload", it can be upsed to upgrade, downgrade, or reload your OS -- it all depends on what OS package you download and install to your PC. Further, you can use other carriers OS packages via this method by simply inserting, between steps 1 and 2, the deletion, on your PC, of a file named VENDOR.XML.

Camera zoom not working

for some reason from one day to the next, i cannot use the zoom feature on my camera. i have an 8310. any ideas why its so spotty?

after downloading after IOS5 software the zoom of the cam its not working and also the option of opening the cam from the lock screen also not avilable

Once you see the lock screen, you have to double-click the home button to access more controls.
Not sure about the zoom. It works for me :/

Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
If you still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order

Take the iPhone to an Apple store genius bar for testing, and if it is defective and under warranty they will replace. Since you say iPhone 4, was this a used or refurbished iPhone?

Check if the drivers are installed or not.
Try to update the camera drivers and restart the system.
You can also go to device manager setting and see if the webcam is disabled or not.
If everything fails try system resore or run OS recovery.

I see that you are having problems with the webcam on your computer. The unit you have is a HP commercial unit.
