CamerUI and MOV playback on IOS

Hi,
I've used CameraUI to capture video on my iphone and attempt to play it back with no luck.
I can get the path from the mediapromise. I also see all of the events being fired for starting, flushing and stopping the buffer stream. I don't see any video on the screen or hear any audio. Is there something Obvious that I"m missing in regards to the video captured by the Iphone4?

You can use ON2 VP6 codecs with something like f4v format instead of FLV but it's probably not going to be a huge improvement.
Unfortunately you're just dealing with the impossible situation. You want a computationally challenging feat accomplished on a very underpowered CPU. It's not going to happen. I still test primarily on an iPad locked in OS5.1 land and I get 60FPS fullscreen (1024x768) video using StageVideo.
If you really don't want your users to suffer you'll have to switch to StageVideo. You can use all your NetStream code. Just follow the second summary on StageVideo in this link:

After you attach your NetStream you're just listening for different video events from StageVideoEvent.RENDER_STATE and your typical NetStream events.
To use StageVideo you should convert your videos to MP4. You'll get not only much better performance but much better compression and quality.

ITunes movie playback, audio and video not in sync after upgrade to Mountain Lion

After upgrading to Mountain Lion I have problems with iTunes movie playback, and the audio/video at times stalls/delays, or skips a few seconds, or even gets out of sync. I have 2011 iMac 27" with 16G RAM and am running the latest iTunes and Mac OS X software, and shutting down extra programs doesn't help. Please let me know of any solution.

I also have this problem, and some videos will no longer play in iTunes.
I get a message that this video is not compatible with this version of iTunes. I have to open the video in Quicktime to watch it.

I have also upgraded to ios6.1.3, and facing same wifi connecting problem, after upgrade my iphone3gs is not connecting to my laptop shared wifi, which was working perfect with ios6.1.2,
and its not an hardware error, its software error, crippy apple does not test their releases which causes problem to users.

Today I have created "adhoc network" on my laptop using "Broadcom 4313 802.11b/g/n"(default wifi adapter of my laptop), and kept security type "WEP", and found my wifi working fine with my iphone 3gs,
So if someone using LAN internet on their laptop, they can share their LAN internet to use on their ios devices, via creating an 'adhoc network',

Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel.

Looping movie playback and seeking

Hello Adobe Forums!
We're trying to build a presentation in Adobe Acrobat in which the user can seek to specific points in time in a movie file. Since the presentations runs on a touch-enabled PC on an exhibition, we want to avoid using the build in movie controls. Instead, we're using buttons and the multimedia function "multimedia_seek".
Now, all that button pressing and movie seeking works fine, but there is one problem: the movie is supposed to loop all day, but i can't find the option for that. Even saving the movie as MOV and setting it to loop forever doen't help. I sure could export a FLV movie and set a cuePoint at the very last frame to tell Acrobat to jump to the beginning, but there seems to be a resolution limitation to FLVs (the presentation runs in portrait mode, so it is 1280 pixels in height).
I also tried to embed the video as an Acrobat 6 compatible movie and then use the Acrobat 6 multimedia functions, since you can set the playback to repeat there pretty easy. But seeking around the movie seems to require some JavaScript skills (which I lack ... massively), so that was no option either.
I'm pretty sure there is an easy way to tell that movie to loop, am I right?

Close out of the mail app, double click the home button and completely close out of the mail app.
Then do a reset, hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release then wait for the phone to boot back up.
then check your mail again.

I just have the option of books and apps, but not music and movies both on itunes and iOs devices.. why?

in the itunes 10.5 preference and in the iOS 5 preferences (store) I can just select apps and books, no music and movies.... anybody knows why?

For anyone still wondering about this, reports today are that the UK won't see music in the cloud until Q1 2012 as negotiations have only just start with the Perfoamnce Rights Society. Slightly strange that licenses weren't done on a global level but it may be cash related. Apple apparently gave $150m to universal alone in advances

IOS 4.x Upgrade breaks sound and video playback

Been fighting this issue for a while and I've hit a brick wall.
Apparently upgrading a 2nd generation Touch to IOS 4.2.1 has broken audio and video play back. My Touch will not play any sounds, music files, or videos, and it locks up when an alarm goes off.
Thinking I could downgrade, I went through the motions of downloading a 3.x version of IOS as well as a copy of Tiny Umbrella. The problem I have is to downgrade you have to save the SHSH blob (a software hash that identifies your device by chipset). Supposedly a service called Cydia has SHSH blobs for iPhones and some iPod Touch devices, but there is no SHSH blob for my touch. The bottom line is, I'm stuck. My Touch is BROKEN, and Apple did it.
So now the question is, will Apple fix this, or are they going to kick older Touch users to the curb? Personally I think a class action suit is in order.
Apple.... Are you listening? I sure hope so, but looking at their past performance in customer support, I seriously doubt they give a hoot.

Sending a message via feedback was next on my list. It really is a shame that Apple is so paranoid and arrogant they can't give users a way to go back to a known good OS.
There may be a lot of MS bashing going on, but as a former MS employee, I can say that MS always gives users a way to clean up after a bad install. I know this to be true because I worked in Desktop Systems as a Customer Support rep. and my area of concentration was Setup and Install.
I've been building my own desktop PCs since the first IBM clones hit the streets, and this episode with IOS 4.x gives me one more reason stick with what works and leave Apple's stuff alone.....

ITunes Match and playlists broken in iOS 8

Since updating to iOS 8 I can no longer add songs to playlists from my phone (I have iTunes match). When attempting to add a song sometimes it gets stuck in the add screen and does not show a "done" button to press or if I add one, it just doesn't add it to the playlist. I can however add songs to the playlist from my mac and it will show up on my phone like normal, just unable to add from my phone.
Other iTunes or music app issues are songs not showing up where they should. I had a song that downloaded from a pre-order, I changed the genre to one of the main genre's I use (like normal), added it to a playlist, and now that the entire album has become available and has downloaded the first track is not able to be found through either genre (either original or my own altered genre) or artist although it still shows up on the playlist.
One more thing about adding songs to a playlist on iOS. I was glad to see that one of the buttons on the bottom (in the add screen) is playlists now as an option to add a song but if you edit the buttons on the bottom and move genre down there, it doesn't stay put. It's back on the "more" screen each time.
Here's a suggestion to any apple folks if they're reading this, besides fixing the things above, how about from the song playing screen when you press the + button that an option is to "add to playlist". When you click on that it brings you to your playlist view to select a playlist. It's a pain in the butt when say you're listening to a song on shuffle, want to add said song to a playlist so you have to back out of the song playing screen, find the playlist (for which I have multiple layers due to playlist folders) click the add button, find the song (after you move genre to the bottom again) then click on the plus sign, hit done, make sure it took it, back out of the playlist view to get back to Now Playing. For people like me who take advantage of iTunes Match and have a lot of music in their libaray, Genre and playlists are the easiest and quickest ways to find what I want to listen to and at times it's not very efficient.

iTunes Match has this problem with almost every iPhone software update. It's unfortunate that they cannot track down the issue. Hopefully this is not indicative of Apple's expertise when it comes to all cloud services. Music, photos and personal data are things that are important to all of us and we spend many hours on custom playlists, personal photo albums and are putting our trust that the work won't just disappear. iCloud drive is another promised feature and it's becoming tougher to trust a new free service when long-standing issues on a paid service cannot be fixed. I want to remain optimistic but so far, iTunes Match is not helping.
On a positive note, the playlists on my Apple TV matches perfectly with my iMac and was working well on my iPhone 5S. The update to iOS 8 on the 5S did NOT cause the playlists to go out of order. I have only seen this issue on new iPhone 6's and iOS 8. Also, moving playlists in and out of folders in iTunes on a Mac seems to be a temporary fix that only lasts as long as you are logged in – Signing out of iTunes Match on iOS and signing back in brings back the problem… which *****.

At the moment you can't - though it should be possible (if it makes it into the final release) in iOS 5 which will be available sometime in the Autumn. Photos cannot currently be moved between albums on the iPad.
If you sync separate folders from your computer you'll get an album for each of them on the iPad, and you have to sync all the folders/albums that you want together as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad (not including a folder in a sync is the way that you delete it from the iPad).

You say "ripped" music. That is not stored on iCloud unless you subscribe to Match. As for iTunes Store purchases:

Downloading previously purchased movies and TV shows requires iTunes 10.6 or later. Discontinued items not available. For items not included in the iCloud list (e.g., ringtones, audiobooks), or locations or computer systems where iCloud is not (yet?) available, you only get one download per fee paid. Apple notes it is your responsibility to back up your purchases.
Select the iTunes Store on the left side of iTunes.
Click on Purchased on the right side under Quick Links.
You can re-download your available previous purchases.
Of course if you had a backup of your files you would have been back up adn running iTunes by the time you read all this.

Depends on what input options you have on your TV.
If your TV has DVI in then you need a MiniDisplay Port to DVI Adapter.
If your TV does not have DVI in but has HDMI then you need a MiniDisplay Port to HDMI Adapter with Audio Support.
